Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

Morning Debs... What are you up to today...? Xx

Well, when I woke up I didn't have any plans.... how things change, apart from a bit of ironing and maybe pop to the shops for a couple of bits I couldn't get yesterday that was it..... except,
Ken buys a classic car paper every Wednesday, and peruses it over breakfast.... we saw a Triumph Spitfire (1971) that requires restoration for really silly money, went and had a look at it this afternoon (about 40 miles away) - I've given him a deposit, and we'll go collect it once we can borrow/hire a trailer to collect it.

As you can see, it's a bit of a mess, but is very doable, and will be beautiful once sorted (Ken did a great job on my old MG)

Down day tomorrow, so no more syns this week

WK34 Thu 04APR - DD

Well, another down day today - apart from the odd moment, I really don't miss eating -sounds strange eh? but after a few DD thhey become quite easy, then I always plan what I'm having the next day, which I never did before, so I know I have something tasty to look forward to.

I also finding that I don't get bored with the foods I do eat, and enjoy my meals a lot more
Less planning, less boredom and of course, it saves me a few quid too

I bought a new cookbook from class today - 'A taste of Asia' there are some right tasty looking things in there....

Well happy today - another 2.5lbs off, SOTW and now only 9lb to target... :woohoo: Last week I got to my lowest ever adult weight, so, at the moment I'm feeling grand, I really like this fasting business, I feel better in myself, and the change in body shape is amazing.

Afternoon everyone,

Having a fasting day today.
Been and popped out for milk, ham and cider ( part of my 5-a-day) and off to the pub at lunchtime for diet Pepsi with Ken & his son.
Picked up a sudoku book for Ken as he's picking up some friends from the airport tonight, so bound to be hanging around

Love that cider is one of your five a day...xx

WK35 Sun 07APR - DD
Black coffee, diet pepsi

Another DD, visit to the pub with Ken, his son Rick and his girlfriend Gill

She's started to get on my wick, she earns good money, has a piddly mortage, which is extra cheap as she works for a bank, and in all the times she's been out with us only bought one round.... OK, until I started fasting I always drank pints, and she would often only drink lime & soda, but even so, she should put her hand in her pocket... Even Ken mentioned to me this time that she was out of order... so, next time I will mention that it's her round....Grrrr

other than that, a nice relaxing day

WK35 Mon 08APR - Green

lovely day, weather was great, washing on the line, a bit of shopping, a bit of cooking, and sat in the garden for a while

food was fab too

Breakfast: poached egg & beans on toast, with a scraping of marmite
2x400g wholemeal bread(HEB1), marmite, baked beans, poached eggs

Snack: banana & grapes

Dinner: pizza, chips and coleslaw // rice pudding

OK, I put too much nutmeg on the rice pudding, so it tasted like nutty slack, but hey ho, can you believe, it's the first time I've made it!!

snack in bed:
4 x lindor chocolate balls - one of each flavour (16)

they were rather tasty,, and, I actually bought these last week, but waited i=until I knew that syn-wise I could fit them in
