Debridgers' Food Diary & Ramblings

WK29 D7 Thur 28Feb -DD - WI 1lb off

Well, another down day under my belt, it feels strangely comforting after a while, and something to look forward to, and not dread as you would suspect.

So, apart from the bras ( and matching knickers) yesterday Ken & I also bought some new motorcycle gear, what with that and the jacket I bought Wednesday (although it was a charity shop find) I've spent more on myself this week than I normally would in a couple of months whilst I was working - gonna have to be a bit careful now, don't want to be in the position that I can't afford the mortgage or the bills, or have to choose between food or heat - I'm OK for now, but evenso, just have to reign it in a bit

Looking forward to an EE (I think) day
Pork in the slow cooker for an attempt at pulled pork - see how it goes

Catch you later

black coffee, diet coke

Kens been poorly the last few days,
Sunday evening he had boiled bacon in hot french bread (one of those part baked ones) and some pepsi (bottled not canned) and had what we tjough was really bad indigestion, he ended-up throwing up to get rid of the pain, as the usual remedy didn't touch it, and went to bed about 7ish

He got up yesterday and had a bacon baguette, then popped out for an hour or so, came back, had some more pepsi, and was in agony again after about 30 mins, this time he was violently ill, and stayed in bed from about 330 yesterday afternoon until 9ish this morning, inbetween being freezing cold or boiling hot.

he went back to bed about 430 this afternoon.

I really don't know whats wrong, he sayes he feels like he's ok now, just wants to sleep... I keep checking on him, and he seems ok

Was wondering if it was Pepsi or the hot bread, but he's never had problems before
Or maybe a gastric flu thingy - whatever, he's on the up thankfully

Thanks girls, he's feeling better, and eating a little, mind you'd think he was on a VLCD with the minimal amount he's had. Although he is absolutely shattered, and has spent the majority of the day in bed or asleep on the sofa....but he's getting there

Well, on the work front, I went up the dole office last week, and am now looking, although in my field, it's not easy, most companies that do what I do are based abroad, and only a handful or so in the UK these days... Unless I go down a few steps, but well, we'll see, sometimes working hard and getting on doesn't actually do you any good - grrr

But, yeah, although looking, I'm ok at the moment thanks

Make sure you get some rehydration salts down him, or Lucasade as it will put back some of the salt and electrolytes back in his system...xx
