Hi Emily sounds like you've had a hard time recently but your dress should be inspiration enough to help you get back on track. I was away for the w/end too and made lots of unhealthy choices but tjionk I may have gotten it out of my system cos today has been surprisingly easy so far and I'm back on it 100%. If I can do it so can you.

Being tired and hungry does not help me to make good food choices. So I've come back home tonight instead of staying at mum's so I can get myself fully back on track. I'm not even going to write what I've ate, but I've come home and was very tempted to break out the crisps, logged on here, saw your wonderful messages and have gone and defrosted myself a portion of homemade veggie rice instead, so that's got to be a good start :)

So I have the bed all to myself tonight and I intend to make full use of it and take my food to bed and have an early night followed by a nice lie in before tidying up ready for our visitors on thursday (my cousin, her 2 girls and my aunty).

I'm going to weigh in tomorrow morning instead of friday because I don't want to be getting the scales out while we have guests, I think I'll be on a sts. But I've got a good plan in place for tomorrow. I've made my first 1.5 litre of drink up and I'm going to have food from the freezer to keep me full. At the moment it's looking like this.

Breakfast - banana, apple, muller light
Snack - fibre plus bar (hexb)
Lunch - tomato pasta with 4 grated babybels on top (2 X hexa)
Snack - crisps (3.5 syns)
Dinner - veggie rice
Snack - fibre plus bar (hexb), frozen yoghurt with blueberry sauce (discovered it in morrisons today) (7 syns)
Total syns - 10.5

Going to have a quick catch up with everyone while I wait for this food to defrost ready to cook xxxx
 
I'm so fed up of all the excuses that I seem to be making for myself at the moment. The reason I've been on and off with the same 3 lbs now for over a month is because of my own stupidity, end of. I can't actually bring myself to get on the scales yet. I have 8 weigh ins left before we go to Turkey and I highly doubt that I'm going to hit my altered target either and I only have myself to blame.
 
Emily. Go for a big wee and weigh. Get it over with! And then move on - you can do it! You have proved that already. Forget the past month and concentrate on the next month x

Come on Em, you can do this. Forget about the past, you cant change that. What you can change though is your future. You've already proved how well you can do, and everyone has so much faith in you! We know you can do it.

Food plan is changing today as I'm going to Stoke for the night as I don't want to drive there and back tomorrow as the weather round here is atrocious. I don't know what food my cousin will have in, but if needs be I'll order in and have chicken kebab with salad and bin the pita bread.

I wi earlier and sts so am fairly happy with that, espescially as I did wi 2 days early :)

Well done on your STS, Emily. So much better than a gain.

I don't blame you not wanting to drive, the weather is awful! Last night it started off as rain here, and quickly became sleet/snow. Woke up to quite a bit of slushy snow this morning, but thankfully the roads are pretty clear. Can't believe last week I was in flip flops and vest tops, sitting in the sun enjoying BBQs. Today I am sat with thick leggings, vest top, jumper, super thick socks and boots on - what a difference!!

Hey sweetie, well done on STS....I know how you feel, 3 months of being in the wilderness head not able to get into it....you need someone to set you a challenge a weekly one and not just weight related, do you know anyone you can compete with that's what get's me going.
Have a safe journey hun, I haven't forgotten about the Iceland List, just not had time to actually get it written up yet.

:bighug: well done on the STS Emmy. I am convinced planning is key to this. Plan foods that are filling and that you love sweetie, this way you don't feel deprived in anyway, and the planning helps to keep you on plan :bighug:

What above adding some positives to the day? I know its a pod thing but many on here do it and don't pod. I find it also helps to keep the mind in the right place and helps us to keep motivated :) the mind is very powerful you know :) xxxxxx
