*deep breath* my journey to a thinner / healthier me

Have a great day hun x

My batteries have gone in my scales  The one week where I was so desparate to get on them and see what was going on, it just keeps saying Lo over and over again so I have to get Chris to get me a new battery for it. I think I was at a sts to be honest, maybe even a small gain, but I was expecting it because of the water retention in my feet.

Have just had breakfast and am stuffed, I have no mushrooms in so just had a cheesy omlette with baked beans and I am now stuffed :D I'm changing today to a red day I think because I've got a scotch egg cooking in the oven now (made with sausage meat from Joe's Sausages) and I'm doing chicken tonight (I plan on getting mushrooms before then).

Plan is to drink a lot today, not too sure if I'm going with Chris to my mum's yet or if I'm going to have a pyjama day at home :hmm:

So food for today is looking like this now -

Brekkie - cheese (hexa) omlette and baked beans
Snack - blueberries
Lunch - scotch egg, tomato and cucumber
Snack - grapes, strawberries and muller light
Dinner - chicken stuffed with garlic and herb philly (3 syns) with mushrooms and mini potato waffles (5 syns)
Snack - chocolate mousse (4 syns), banana and muller light

I'm really on it this week, am determined to have a week with no slip ups, I did this at the beginning of january when I first started sw, I was doing really well, so I plan on finding a way to get back into that mindset :D

Great food plans, don't forget beans are not free on red hun x

Boo to the batteries :(

Yay for positive Emily back on it!!! :)

You WILL do this x

Great food plans, don't forget beans are not free on red hun x

I'd totally forgotten about this :giggle:

Would it matter if I classed it as an ee day? I can't see me having 2 sandwiches or sets of toast, so I'd be on plan for ee apart from the superfree with breakfast

So last night I decided to skip the choc mousse and decided to count the baked beans from the morning as syns so I could have a bowl of weetabix as a hexa and hexb because I knew that would fill me up more than a mousse. And in a slightly roundabout way I feel quite proud of myself because if I'd had the mousse I would have got peckish later in the night and would have probably strayed from plan. So I'm classing yesterday as a red day

I'm still determined to do this, but feeling a bit bleugh about getting into my shorts and bikini top. I've just taken a picture of me in a pair of my shorts and my bikini top and my tummy looks horrible, I knew it would because of it still being so big, but it's done nothing for my confidence and now I'm wondering if I should actually subject people to that or stay covered up.

Food for today (green)

Brekkie - weetabix and milk (hexa and hexb)
Snack - Banana sandwich (hexb)
Lunch - 2 quorn chicken burgers (5 syns), tomato and cucumber
Snack - blueberries, strawberries, kiwi and grapes with muller light
Dinner - veggie paella (onion, pepper, mushrooms)
Snack - 2 ice lollies (5 syns), 2 babybel (hexa) and muller light

Well done for staying on plan yesterday and making better choices - thats what SW is all about :)

As for the bikini etc - you still have a few weeks so don't stress about what you think you look like yet. As for subjecting others to you in it - you're on holiday and nobody knows you!

Have a great Saturday x

That's what I thought last time we went to turkey, nobody commented or made me feel bad so I don't know why I'm getting so worked up about it. Being like this makes no sense whatsoever because my shorts are a size smaller than when we went in 2009, so really I should be feeling better about it :giggle:

Have got my quorn chicken burgers in the oven cooking ready to put in a bowl with my salad, then going to prepare the fruit and put that in a tub too and need one more tub for fruit for tomorrow.

I really want to tackle the cases for turkey next week because we've had to rearrange going to manchester because of the bank holiday. I don't like going to places if I know it's a school holiday or a bank holiday because I know there'll be loads of kids around and they can be really cruel (then again so can adults). Anyway, because of us going to manchester early, I need to have the cases ready a week and half early because we're going to leave them at Chris' mum and dad's ready for when we fly out on the 7th.

And I refuse to drink lots and lots of water before we get on the plane. In 2009 we got on the plane and got told there was a problem with something and had to get off while the technicians looked at it, so we went to a cafe for a drink and I had a 750ml bottle of water and being the idiot that I am rushed to drink it because I didn't think I could take it on the plane. So I had to wait 4 hours before I could go to the toilet :giggle:

Yeay, well done on the healthy decisions hun.

Re your hols you've still got weeks to make a diff on the loss side and you could try doing Kev's sit-ups and leg raises (don't think Kev's doing leg raises but we'll call it artistic license) and tone up the tummy muscles a bit. I'll be your cheerleader too.

And after that if you're still not happy go with Lisa's comment. You're on holiday, nobody knows you, so don't give a damn. Whichever you go with keep your chin up hun.

I can just picture you getting all that BM dancing in your seat and walking with your knees clamped together waiting for a wee.

:8855: omg I was literally bursting and as soon as we'd got through security I had to rush off to find the toilets :giggle:

I'm going to keep my fluid intake up and salt as low as possible that should keep me from getting bloated, not too sure about the sit ups because my boobs are too big, but I might have a go at zumba, maybe search for a couple of songs on youtube and do them :D

If YOU feel okay in a bikini top then wear it, don't worry about others hun! :D

Easy for me to say though, I'm 21 and never worn one!! Always a tankini for me, just because my confidence is at rock bottom. Maybe this summer or next though ;-) xx

Thank you :) I think I'll stick to my original plan and wear the bikini top, just with a strapless top over it that I can roll up and down so it hides the part I don't like the most (the bit just under my boobs). I mean, it's not as though any of them will see us again. I think I'll feel a bit better if the next 3 weigh ins go well, so it's focus, focus, focus :D

Ohhhh forgot to include my lunch and fruit bowl from yesterday :D

I can't wait for lunch today because the quorn burgers are amazing, I couldn't tell the difference between them and a normal birds eye chicken burger

I'd definitely recommend Joe's Sausages, they're absolutely delicious :D

Soooooo stuffed now, I'm hooked on those quorn chicken burgers now, they taste so much better to me than normal ones :D

Morning :wavey:

Had a bit of a weird day yesterday, I kept picking at stupid stuff (so I'll probably be over syns because of it), but the odd thing is that I'd stop not even half way through and think "well I really don't want this" so I'd put it down and that would be it :hmm:

We had been planning on Vegas for our honeymoon, but that's not an option now because of something silly Chris did when he was younger, which means lots of faffing about with getting him a visa as he doesn't qualify for the visa waiver thing. But, we do have a fall back option - Thomas Cook have started a new section called Thomas Cook Style, and through them we've found a private villa in turkey for a fortnight. It's absolutely amazing, 3 bedrooms, a private pool, beautiful garden, a bit expensive for a self catering option, but it's going to be so romantic if we can go for it. So the plan is for me to save separately until christmas and if we have at least half then I'm going to book it :woohoo:

I've decided as well that I'm going to try and cut bread out of my diet as I'm getting a bit too dependent on it for my hexb and I'm sure it bloats me up, so I think I'm going to use fish or meat, fibre plus bars or alpen light bars as hexb from now on and see how that goes.

Food plan for today ...

Brekkie - grapes, blueberries, strawberries and yoghurt
Snack - orange
Lunch - cheesy (2 x hexa) pasta with tuna (2 x hexb)
Dinner - linda mccartney sausage roll (7 syns) 5 mini waffles (5 syns)
Snack - muller light and grapes
Syns - 12
