Todays Food, didnt get out of bed until 2pm and nightshift tonight, so the meals are the wrong way around lol.

3pm, Spag bol with a small portion of pasta. 1 tangerine.
7pm, 1 small banana.
8pm, 1 small cup of lentil soup, 3 ryvita.
Midnight, 1 Scotch egg (pack of 2 now gone), beetroot, cherry tomatoes. LF yogurt, 1 tangerine.
Nibbled at 2 tiny pieces of stewing steak to make sure it was cooked :)

First of my four days off, I got up about 11am this morning, I just couldn't sleep. I don't know whats happened to my back again today, but the last two days, it has eased, although still sore with certain movements, but today, its a lot more painful again. I have just taken 2 pain killers now, but because I am not really used to taking medication like this, I have a dizzy head, feels like I have had a few.......but I haven't, and although I said I would drink on my second day off, I might just have one or two later lol.

Bought some Morgan Spiced today, just for a change to have with a diet coke.

Food today.

Out of bed and not hungry, so just had a pear.

Lunch, Lentil soup, 3 ryvita.

Dinner, Bolognese, green beans, carrots. LF yogurt 2 kiwis.

There will probably be a snack later too which I will edit and of course add any drinky poohs.

Edit - Just having my first Morgans Spiced and diet coke. I will probably have another 2 later, but will edit tomorrow.
Supper will be 3 ryvita, cheesy coleslaw.

Hope the back improves. Some of those painkillers can be quite heavy duty so listen to your body. Beware of mixing alcohol with them too. I know I can't handle it!!!

I know, I am hopeless with medication, purely because I very rarely take any. I wont have a drink (If I do) until tonight, and I took the pain killers about 2pm, so should be fine by then.

Very observant Mrs D - the issues are still around that stopped us meeting a couple of weeks ago, and I do feel a bit down, but hopefully things will get better soon. I actually DOOO feel a bit brighter today, even though the back is still sore.

Maybe once you are home from your holidays we could do some of your distance healing if you would be so kind hon :)

Food today,

Breakfast - yummy 2 slices of grilled bacon (Maisey had the fat), 1 egg and mushrooms fried in frylite, grilled cherry toms.

Dinner - Beef stew and swede, 1 LF yogurt

I have had a snack of 1 banana and 1 pear, but no doubt will have something else later on.

Phill has just poured me Morgans and diet coke ;)

Edit - Had 2 ryvita with coleslaw and slither of cathedral city cheese for supper. Had 3 Morgans and diet coke in total.

Sorry that your feeling a bit down hun. I know how hard it is when your in pain all the time too. I become the most impatient grumpy person!

Thanks ladies. I actually over-did it yesterday. I intended just to rest, but I walked Maisey in the morning, about 2 miles, then thought I would do nothing all day. But the new cabinet arrived and Phill was busy concreting the drive, so I ended up taking all the polystyrene, plastic etc off it, and moving the old TV cabinet. That lead to floors being mopped, dusting done, hoovering, scrubbed the rug......well I paid for it last night, I was in agony. Happier to say it is a little better again today though, but when I sit down for any length of time it is agony when I get up.

Food today.

Breakfast - Bran Flakes, SS Milk, Small banana.

Lunch - 2 egg cheese omelette with salad garnish. LF yogurt.

Felt really picky all day, so snacked on 1 small piece of stew as I was warming some up for Maisey haha. 1 pear, 1 multibag of cheese and onion crisps, 5 ginger nuts, 2 tangerines - this was through out the day.

Dinner - small bowl of stew.

But I am really craving something else tonight.........but I am trying to resist.

Had 2 vodkas (got fed up of Morgans) and will probably have another 2-3. So much for me only drinking on one of my days off.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a healthier day, there will definitely be no alcohol as I am back to work on Friday. I do think its boredom sometimes that makes me snack and drink lol, maybe I should find a hobby that takes me out of the house in the evening.
 
It's defo boredom!!!!!! And somehow our days off just don't seem right without a drink do they?!!! :p

The nibbling stopped last night after another snack of 2 ryvita and cheesy coleslaw, oh well, I suppose it could have been worse, but it was bad enough.

Food today

B - Bran flakes, sliced banana, SS Milk.
L - Lentil soup, 2 ryvita with tuna, red onion and vinegar.
D - Roast potatoes, BBQ chicken, peas. LF Yogurt.

S - 1 pear, 2 small tangerines.

This is the best day I have had with my back yet, so fingers crossed it is eventually going. Its been 2 weeks today since I hurt it - jeez I hate these things we get as the older you get lol.

Feeling much brighter again today, I think it must have been the back ache that was making things worse. Even been singing along today with the radio as I have been cleaning (only light stuff though).

This is the last day that I have my enemy with me, he will be killed tonight just before I go to bed, tomorrow I will have a new friend, which is myself and I will look after me, because the enemy wasn't.

(Anyone reading the above that doesnt know me will think I have cracked up PMSL)

Edit to add - 8 squares of milk chocolate duh!!
