Ding Dong the Enemy's dead!

I suppose the circumstances of living there rather than living out of a suitcase are completely different though :)

Weighed this morning, and I am still 11st 6lb - god knows how.
Last night I had (you guessed) cheese omelette, 1 slice of roast beef, salad.
Then munched on 1 bag of S+V McCoys and 1 bar of Cadbury's caramel.

Even though I am still the same weight today - I am having a shake breakfast and lunch, as I feel quite bloated.

Supper to be decided, but probably beef salad.

Enemy still causing no problems - well nothing to speak of anyhow - just occassionally he pops his ugly head up, but I have my pistol at hand to shoot the beggar back down :)

Glad that your doing so well Mary! Great news about Turkey. Every cloud and all that! Hope your shakes go well today and you get rid of the bloatedness. Oooh and LOVE chips and gravy! N thinks I'm mad!

Mary you are doing so brilliantly on the ciggies. Every day loosens his dying grip, well done.
Great job on sorting out the holiday bookings.

So nice to hear the enemy is causing no problems! :)

Jan does your son work for that company does he? Or was he just innundated with people trying to rebook their hols with someone else? x

He works for himself Tan. It was rebooking customers with someone else that he had to do. Fortunately he didn't have anyone out there at the time - that's a much worse nightmare!

Mary - really proud of how well you're doing AND controlling the food as well .. you're a star! :) xx

Thanks girls - and WOW thank you for my BIG star :D:D

Foodwise, today hasn't gone to plan, but its not all bad.

I had a shake for breakfast, but getting closer to lunch time I wanted real food, so I popped over to Asda and got a cooked chicken, salad and some strawberries.

They still had none of the strawberry and yogurt meal replacement bars, but I did pick up a snack bar in raspberry flavour, which I ate on the way back to work - that was really nice, but I wouldnt like to have loads of them in the house - way too moreish.

Lunch was chicken breast, salad and strawberries.

Dinner tonight will probably be more chicken and salad.

Obviously after a long working weekend, some vodka will be consumed too :D Oooh I guess I forgot to tell you all that I bought a Litre of Smirnoff at Asda too ;)

LOL! I thought your tipple was the Red .... OOO I've forgotten ..... but Red something - that's what I was bringing you in July ... what a bu**er - had to drink it myself ;)

Enjoy the voddies hon ... I am ;) xx

Aww well thank you Jan, I think you mean Red Square?.........it just depends on what is on offer, Smirnoff was on offer in Asda today, so I am now on my 3rd.

Foodwise not too good tonight, but will wait to see if the scales are on the nozzle tomorrow at 11st 6lb............hahaha, I quite like this part of it.

Tonight I had 2 slices of WM bread, scraping of elf mayo, chicken, rocket, cucumber, 4 cherry tomatoes. 1 bag McCoys salted crisps. 2 chocolate digestives.

Voddies :D:D:D

Red square - that's it! I thought I'd heard you mention that in the past but it seems you're like me - whatever's on offer! LOL! :D:D

Ah well that just means next time we make arrangements I don't have to be quite so particular ;) xx

Just munched another bag of crisps - duh, whats wrong with me....grrr, I have a feeling it will DEFFO be shakes tomorrow lol, the scales cant possibly stay at 11st 6lb tomorrow.

Hey, just a thought, maybe my scales are broken and I am 13 stone. Eeeeek.

LOL!!! Or if they're broken you could actually be 10st 9lbs!!! Now don't be at it Missis!!! You're doing really well, your scales are fine and so are you!!

BTW - you don't have to remember about Pinot - if I'm with you we can stick to the voddies ;) xxx

Agree with Jan :)
Back on track tomorrow?! xx

Drum Roll ................................ Well weighed this morning, and guess what girlies.............................hahaha, I can't believe it, but I am

11st 6lbs - that magic number :)

Well I called to Phill to weigh himself, just to see if they WERE actually stuck, but I am pleased to announce he si 12st 2lbs :)

Oh well, eating again today - by the skin of my teeth probably.

Breakfast - Handful of bran flakes mixed together with a yogurt (felt this would be a nice change, and getting protein, so less chance of the shakes later :) ) it was really nice, and felt more filling than the usual cereal with milk. 1 grapefruit.

* Tangerine.

Dinner - Roasted yellow, green, red peppers (gorgeous) drizzled with olive oil lite, salmon fillet, 4 small potato croquettes.

Supper - Brought a boiled egg, chicken breast and salad to work and a tangerine.

Well ladies, as you all know this darned bloody menopause has got to me and I have managed to put up with it for the last nearly 3 years, but I bit the bullet and went to the Doctor today, I just cant stick this lack of sleep due to excessive sweating any longer, plus some of the other menopausal symptoms are kicking in as well. He seemed rather hesitatant to give me anything, until I told him that I had tried herbal remedies and nothing was making it any better. So I have started on HRT today. He said it might be about 6 weeks until I see any changes to my symptoms, but at least there is some hope now - oh god I hope it works.

Rambling on and on, I am getting quite the chatter box lately. (Must be something to do with keeping my fingers busy since killing the enemy)

Well done YOU!! :D

Good choice with the HRT imho ... I'd still be on it if I hadn't been told I had to stop.

Food looks good today :) xx

Well done on the weight ,Mary. I hope you get some relief now with the hrt. The Summer weather must have been tough on you too. Here's to cooler nights.

The good thing though is that they SHOULD have kicked in by the September holiday :)

Summer Molly - I missed it, apart from Easter :)

Ah brilliant Mary, well done :)

And good news about going to the doc, hopefully they kick in real soon :fingerscrossed:

Thank you Tanya.

Uh oh,........one of the lads in work has just gone to Asda, so I am going to have one of those 30p snack bars, they are really lovely - TOO DARNED LOVELY though.........have you tried them Jan?

No I haven't and probably shouldn't if they're that nice ;) xx
