Well the increase in weight due to the carb fest has now gone. The 3lb gain has now gone and I am back to my magic number of 11st 6lbs. It somehow feels my right weight, in a weird way, even though I prefer to be lighter.

After reading Mollys thread yesterday about not being obsessed by the magic number on the scales, but to listen to your body, it actually got me thinking.

In my heaviest years, which took me up to over 14st, which was a few years ago, I was usually around the 11st 5lb weight. When I married in 1977 that was my weight, after the birth of my Sons I was that weight too, and it seems strange that that is my weight lately too.

In between those times, I have gone up and down in my weight due to diets and lifestyle, but that seems to be the magnetic number that my body tends to return to.

Not saying I am happy to stay at this weight, but not being obsessive about it at the moment either - I will wait till the enemy has been buried longer, eg after the holidays. Oct 10th and then decide on the future ;)

Re weight if that is what your body seems to settle at then I think it is silly to push it any more. Hope you managed to stick to your plan!x

Food today.

B - MRB
* 1 grapefruit
L - 1 tin tomatoes, 1 boiled egg, 4 ryvita
* small banana.
D - WW Chicken balti and Pilau Rice, 1 yogurt.
* 1 Apple.

Back in work - nightshift and my last shift is tomorrow night :D Ready for a nice long 4 day off break now :D

If you are happy where you are now Mary why bother changing something that you are content with? Good plan not to be obsessive about it - im a firm believer youre body knows what weight it wants to be :)

You're still doing fab with getting over the death of that old enemy! :D x
 
Yes Tanya, but I am only happy with where I am at the moment, because of the death of the enemy. If I am too strict with myself just now, then it could cause enemy pressure, hence the reason I will wait till after the holidays.

Maybe just another half a stone or so, but I will wait and see. :)

Thats me till I get out of bed tomorrow afternoon now lol. Because I do only two nightshifts, I treat it like a normal day really.

Quite glad I never got into the habit of eating during the night, and to be honest, I never fancy it now.
 
What a fabulous day in Wales today, I hope the rest of you have got the nice weather.

Food today

B - Bran Flakes, SS Milk, Sliced Banana.
L - 2 Oatcakes, slither of cheese, ELF Mayo, Tangerine. 2 Ginger nuts.
D - 3 Rashers thin bacon, fat removed, chopped up with 2 chopped up boiled eggs, ELF Mayo, 4 Ryvita. 1 yogurt. Tangerine.

* 10 chocolate raisins.
* Dish of chopped radish/carrots/cherry tomatoes.

Nice here too today though the wind was very cool. Finally managed a picnic with the boys :) xx
