Ding Dong the Enemy's dead!

Mmm good luck if you decide to follow GI Jan, I dont have a clue about any of that.

I have decided just to stick to calorie counting for the time being and hopefully phase that out over a couple of months after the holidays until I can find a happy medium with portion control.

There you go again mentioning that dang holiday! ;)

Only joking - relieved you're still 'speaking' to me - or haven't you caught up with the TFR thread yet. **quakes with fear and bites nails**

Oooo your menu looks yum today! :D

I read it, but just wait until I call you Girlie.........hehehee.

Thanks Yas, it was lovely, I really enjoyed the chilli lunch and the beef tonight was gorgeous. Nice to have a variety.

Damn, I need to change my diet! lol

Your food is looking so gooood! :)

The chow mein I had last night was delicious, really enjoyed it.
I always loved spicy food pre lipotrim, but now its even tastier, especially that Thai chilli sauce, its lovely, especially with chicken or beef.

That's where I'm messing up a littel, frightened to have the sauces like that, although I've bought some salad sauces now (low fat honey and mustard) and also bought some spicy chicken this weekend, so looking forward to having that! :)

Oooh are we allowed the low fat salad sauces etc? I was just going to have balsamic vinegar! :giggle:

Also, kered - i know you are the knowledge queen so on refeed are we allowed curry powder? mixed in with our natural yog etc?

How much did you pay Bev? It varies on who the seller is, but never seen it over £4

I got mine from amazon and it was 79p plus £2.50 p&p. Pleased with that price. Will be reading every page when it arrives in the next few days. Got to get clued up on this for after hols!

Sorry to answer first, but Mary's slacking today (hahaha). Yes you can use curry powder (or so I was told by my chemist, and it had no adverse affects). You can use it in yoghurt to make a nice marinade for your chicken! :)

Thats what i was thinking of doing maj - thanks :D xx

Mark, the Thai chilli sauce is quite low, I only used 30 calories worth, but makes such a difference to the taste. Go on hun, be a devil :)

Yes its allowed but I would avoid too much of it for the first couple of days to give your stomach a chance to get used to food again. Just use it sparingly for a day or two.

Yes similar to what I paid, the book was dirt cheap but the postage was the same price as yours.

No, I use 'The Calorie Counter - by Dr Wynnie Chan'.

I think Yasmine uses the calorie bible or something along those lines.

Have just purchased this from amazon - got it for £3.73 :)

Cant go wrong at the price.

By the way, the chicken was divine, I will definitely be making that again.
