DOING SW FROM HOME???

Oh dear, having a bad day today....it's only my second week!! I've been buying clothes and swimsuits to go back to KL with.....I look like the back if a bus! More motivation to get this weight off. Super blobby depressed and eaten terribly today! Poor me!!

Oh dear. Think everyone has been here! Time to give yourself a good talking to and remind yourself of the things you want to achieve by reaching a healthy weight. Only you can choose whether you do this or not - remembering how you feel right now should stop you from going off the rails again!

It's ok! It can be hard sticking to something new when you have a bad day, dieting is about changing old habits, and that takes time. When I started if I had a bad day it'd sometimes turn into a bad 3 days, or bad whole weekend. But as times gone on, I can have bad meal or too much choc but just get straight back on plan on the next meal I have. Just try and draw a line under what you've done and don't think ok fresh start tomorrow, just think fresh start next meal, and plan what you're going to have. Or do something active which makes you kinda balance the food guilt.

Don't be hard on yourself, it's a massive challenge changing our eating patterns and habits, and takes time. We've all been there loads :) xxx

Oh I've had Cauliflower mash before. It's a favourite on the South Beach Diet. The recipe there is to add fried onions and garlic before you mash it. Its lovely.

Actually there are probably some good low carb recipes that would work well with Red SW days. I'm going to search through my books

How can you have a super positive good day followed by waking up feeling really hungry wanting things you shouldn't! Just had weetabix, still hungry so had 2 pieces of toast (hexb) and still hungry :-( I have a feeling things will go wrong today!

I really ache from yesterday's boxing on the move fitness. No pain no gain I suppose but know tomorrow will be another sts :-(

Ooh cauliflower rice and mash sounds lovely!
I had a really gorgeous tea last night! Tuna steaks with sweet chilli sauce, roasted veg n jacket pot! Mmmm could eat teas like that all the time!
I weighed myself this morning and I'm deffo on for a good loss...all going well today! The only thing I'm worried about is it's the beginning of my star week so I'm all bloated n feel yuk! I'm sticking to plan today tho so should be ok later at WI!
I'll let u all know later how I get on!!
X

Good luck with the weigh in :) Charl, you must feel really good with that big loss! Seriously well done for sticking to the slim and save, I know I couldn't do it. I've come back with my head hanging low again, another day off!! What is my problem?! Stressed about A Level results tomorrow, and need something to focus on so today is the day I get back on the wagon! I've got some lovely salmon fillets in the fridge so I'm going to marinate them in soy sauce and sweet chilli sauce for 10 mins, then cook them in some foil. I'm also going to roast lots of peppers, onions, garlic, mushrooms etc and put that in some cous cous as that's one of my fave things ever!! Just the thought of that is keeping me positive for getting back on plan :) I think part of my issue is that all my siblings are on their school holidays, obvs, but my mum likes treating them so there's always bad stuff in the house. Anyway, really hoping I can manage to stick to it today, I've managed 12 weeks 100% on plan before, so I can do it again!!

Hope everyone has a good day :) xx

Oooh, Laura I'm not surprised you're a bit off plan, results day looming! What are your plans now, uni, job, year off etc? We've got salmon tonight, might marinade them too, sounds good!

What's done is done hun, don't stress about it. Your food always sounds lovely. I can imagine the temptation of nice food in the house is a total nightmare!! You're right tho, you've done it once before so you'll do it again :)

Well day 2 refeed going ok! mixed it up a bit as was at my mums at lunch, had a nicoise salad, which is totally allowed, and still have a piece of fruit and vlcd pack to go, had shredded wheat today too! I was so excited, but it was so bland and yuck! I can't put sweetener on it so was massively disappointed!

Played crazy golf at the coast and now off to town to buy holiday clothes, feeling very very bloated though and keep getting waves of nausea, which is horrible, hope i'm not blooming preggers again! Might get a test to rule out as it does feel very morning sickness like, oh god! I always do this though, convince myself I'm pregnant when I'm not! xx

Crazy golf sounds fun and shopping is fab but being preggers......well I'd be elated! Although a week before holiday! It may just be your body adjusting to a bit of food again, hopefully?! I really want to shift this next 2 stone then we'll try for number 3 :)

Feeling very despondent and can't be bothered today but gave myself a talking to and back on it! Got some salmon marinating, then out for a run tonight. Really need to see a loss tomorrow. My body is quite bizarre, I have a fantastic loss of 5-6lbs then nothing for weeks then another big loss. I'd rather have 1lb loss a week, would be better for my head!!

Is it bad that I just get excited anytime anyone thinks they're pregnant?? :p I always convince myself I am too, even if it's not possible!
Thanks Jen, yeah the salmon was absolutely delicious - wish I'd got a pic of it all on the plate as it was very pretty :) Trying to think what to have for dinner that doesn't sound too hard to make... Hmm. Think I might make some bacon spaghetti :) Haven't had pasta in ages! But yeah, slightly stressed about tomorrow :p Going to treat myself to a nandos tomorrow, whether it's in celebration or commiseration :p My plans are to get a full time job for a few years and save up, and if uni fees are down by 2014/2015 then I might consider it - but if not I'll try and just find a job that lets me further a career without a degree... My main goal in life is to have a family really, so I just need oppurtunities to meet Mr. Right - who hopefully is loaded so I don't have to work ;D x

Hey all. I have doing SW since February this year by going group and to date I have lost 2 stone 2lbs. I have another 2 stone to go. I am thinking of leaving group and doing this from home. I think I have the willpower now since I have got this far. I don't like the idea of paying £4.95 a week too. Has others done this and had good success? I just don't want to fall off the wagon and undo all the good work that I have done so far. x

Sounds like an excellent plan, am sure Mr Grey is really out there somewhere, ha!! Good luck tomorrow. Uni fees are so shocking these days. I went to uni at 23, was great to have a bit of life experience first. Besides at 18 I just wanted to go out and spend all my money on clothes so wouldn't have been ready for student life, well the life maybe but I liked earning money and buying things! Took me a while to realise that nursing was for me too.

Hello! There's a few of us that don't attend a sw group and still loose. I've never been to a class and lost just over 2 stone now. We're all here to help each other not to fall off the wagon!! You have all the sw knowledge (more than me probs), so if you decide to save your £5 a week, we'll be here with you!

Huge well done on your loss too, that's fantastic! :)

I've always had an interest in Midwifery, so I'm definitely going to look more into that and stuff - especially as it's free tuition!!

Welcome Lotty and well done on your loss so far! :) x

Ooooh, do it! I'd love to do my midwifery. Could do an 18month conversion course but not sure I could cope with the study with 2 young kiddies! Was hard enough when I was young free and single! Am looking into health visiting at the mo, all depends on money tho unfortunately. Oh to win the lottery ;-)
