DOING SW FROM HOME???

Morning girlywigs :)

Am doing a mix of sw and cc today, will be interesting.

No-one shout at me but just had a look on the calendar and it's 18 weeks til Christmas! So that means 18 weeks to shift 2 stone, eek! 2lb a week should do it but blimey that doesn't sound very far away, best get saving now!!

Ohhh nooo :( It's still August! We can't be talking about christmas already ;D I am doing SW mix with CC as well - sticking to the bread once a day, cheese once, no fats, oils, sugar things as much as poss, but just watching the calories! :)

I think I might be going for a picnic today with my friend's little ones - haven't seen them in a while, and the weather is tooo gorgeous to waste sitting inside on my laptop!! We have a cool little place near us called Two Tree Island - perfect for picnics!! And blackberry picking :D xx

Thanks for the replies, i'm a bit rubbish at this replying lark so forgive my ignorance with names....

To the lady who suggested that I start today - I SALUTE you!!!! I used to be like that myself, always telling people to start today and not tomorrow as sometimes you just push tomorrow on and on.....

And, to the lady who suggested that I use the time to do a food plan - Yes thats what I had in mind in between visitors coming all day today and so I shall be geting rid of naughty food and giving it to them today!

I used to be pretty rubbish at food planning, I scrapped through somehow but these next 3 weeks I really need to budget so I thought as the weather is pants, rather than have mugshots and waste syns on cup a soups that i'd make a batch of veggie soup tomorrow, that way I can do a few red days as they always seem to make me feel less bloated quicker than green.

Hubby's on nights this week so I have NO EXCUSE!!!!! My week will consist of working, being 100% on plan only snacking on fruit, start drinking water again, replace a few tea's with mint/green tea, coming home and after putting my 16month old to bed I shall be doing 30 mins on the treadmill, I MUST!!!!!!

Ive just come back from extreme fat burn class...hope it does me good though. Get the feeling it wont be a loss this week. Not sure why but since i got to 2 stone i have lost it a bit. i am thinking of tryind red and green. u think it will help or should i stay with ee? xxx
 
Ooo def mix the plans up! Should def help your metabolism, also if your still using all your syns try dropping it down to 10 a day instead of 15 xx
 
Ha ha, sorry to mention the c word especially as the sun is out! Had a lush morning in the park. My 2yr old decided he could follow big brother up a huge scramble net to massive rope bridges and slides so mummy had to follow! Good job I've lost a few pounds or I wouldn't have fitted down the slide!!

Am annoyed, m&s didn't have any count on us pizza's so had to go for normal ones. They're about 500 calories for half of it so as I'm on 700 calories so far today it might be ok. Cc is working ok, may well do sw in the week and cc at the weekend. Going for a run in a bit, determined to catch hubby up (he's 68kg)!

Getting friends to eat all the 'naughty but nice' food is a fab idea ;-)

500 calories for half is still pretty good! I've finally uploaded the photos of my food from my phone and uploaded it on the post your pics thread ;D My sushi looks yummy, I want sushi so bad now! Had a nice salad for lunch - always forget how nice salads can be if you put some effort in! I chopped a quorn sticky bbq fillet into mine :D x
 
I went for a BBQ today at bf's mums, I was really good until my kids didn't eat half their burgers so I ate them, just the meat tho, and they were nice m&s ones so hopefully not done much damage, I figure it's my refeed anyway so by having an extra 200cals it's not going to tip me over the edge or anything, I've still only had 900 for the whole day, and still low carb, no booze, no sweets, some really nice m&s salads too. This wild rice and Aubergine one was lush! X

I actually mix SW and cal counting. I stick to the principles of SW but always use my fitness pal so I can keep an eye on portions. I find free foods don't work for me as its more how much I eat not the things I'm eating. But yes one of the best losses I've had is from alternating green and red days. I'm probably just going to do red days from now on though as I realised after doing my vlcd I don't need carbs they just make me sluggish and bloated. If you always use your syns on the same thing try having some different things. Your body tends to adjust to what you have and if it's consistently the same stuff then you probs wouldn't lose, try and mix it up a little and you'd be surprised just doing that will give your body a little shock and make it work again. Xx
 
Am definitely having pimms and diet lemonade tonight. It's hot so nice and refreshing and only 40 calories per measure!! Still got 700 calories to go so will be a good night!

Hope everyone is on plan or if you're off plan then definitely enjoying yourself!! ;-)

Ohhh!! If only I had some diet lemonade! Could so do with a pimms right now :p Just picked up a lovely new bikini, hoping to hell it fits cause they only had a 12 or 20 in the bottoms, so I went with the twelve...
Managed to end the day with 500 cals left, so I'm currently eating a yummy blueberry muffin, hate to think how many syns on SW though!! x

After posting my intro a few days ago, I have had a few very rough days, found out my Dad's cancer has spread and had to deal with huge financial problems with my husband. As a result I have lost about 7 lbs since Monday (which has been a great kick start to my restarted SW diet, but not how I planned at all). Don't officially WI until Monday, but have been having cheeky WI every other day, just to see how I'm getting on.

I've got a Fitbit so use that to keep track of my food eaten, exercise and steps. Aiming for at least 10k each day, but haven't managed that everyday this week.

I thought I was quite familiar with most acronyms on the internet, but struggling to get my head around many of those on hear.

Oh honey, how awful for you all. I'm so sorry to hear that, must be incredibly tough right now. Maybe don't stress about sticking with sw :-(

Booo! Got really intense sugar cravings plus a headache. Been like it all day. Drank loads and eaten peaches and strawberries but finally had a thin slice of ice cream and two cadburys chocolate fingers to have a little something but it hasn't gone. Any thoughts?

Sorry to hear that, Welshlassie, like Jen says - don't stress yourself too much about sticking to the diet, you've got bigger things to worry about right now.

THE SIZE 12 BOTTOMS FIT! WOOOOHOOO! Feel really good about that :p They're the tiniest bit snug, but I aim to carry on losing so they should be perfect once I've got to goal and finally started exercising so I tone up a bit! Happy though :D xx

700 calories left is amazing, I am impressed and glad you have managed to have a good day by doing it that way. Looks like I am about to be attacked by bags of reduced custard donuts from Asda.
