DOING SW FROM HOME???

Thanks to everyone for their kind words, even though I've not actually met any of you, it means a lot and lovely to have support.

I love ww's snacks for low calorie sweet options, surprised at how lovely some of them are and make a nice change to alpen light bars!! I also love snacking on sponge fingers (the ones you use in trifles), satisfies my sugar fix and only 1 syn per finger which means calories will probably be very low too.

Just went out for a run, was going to do my normal 3 miles but with things reeling around my head I just kept going, ended up running 6 miles! May feel that tomorrow!!

Well done on 30mins on the treadmill! I'd love one, nowhere to put it tho!

Wow, just put my run into myfitnesspal and it burnt 666 calories!! It's bizarre that it takes it off your daily total, it's now telling me I need to eat another 900 calories!

How bizarre is that. I have just set up an account and done the same with the Shred DVD. I think I will be a much happier person doing cc than vanilla sw. I read recently that if you find a way to lose weight by eating in a way you can stick to even if it not so healthy then losing weight has more benefits than remaining overweight and eating healthy foods!

Eugh, I need to get into exercising! I know that if I had a cross trainer or an exercise bike that I could soo just mindlessly exercise cause I could read whilst I was doing it!! Grr, I hate money issues! Going to do some research and find a cheapish one to aspire to buying :) x

I like the sw philosophy, it makes sense but am trialling some cc weeks to see what difference it makes. If I can loose regularly cc then I may do that and do sw to maintain as it's a better long-term healthy eating plan. Cc is a bit easier with my weekends and alcohol too!

Whatever works best and keeps you happy is key!

Umm it never ever occured to me to put the exercise into it too.... duh I'm such a barbie.....

Didn't realise you could count cleaning as an exercise.... I seem to do plenty of that... I now have calories left.... good job as the blummin alpen bars I bought from B&M thinking they were lights weren't... hoping I can use one of those as a hex instead of two lights..

If you have facebook see if there is a local sell or swap group nearby, you get all sorts of things come up on them for next to nothing as people just want rid...

Crumbs, been the busiest day ever! Was sorting the boys out all morning, breakie, colouring, getting them all sorted, mum came and got them and the cat (house feels so empty :( ) and I kept the tears in saying bye. Although I've been feeling sad a bit today thinking its going to be so long until I see their little weird faces. Went Into town and manically looked for stuff for like 5 hours with grumpy bf as he hasn't slept from night shift so was in a shocker of a mood! Came home to drop everything off, had to go get my jabs then straight to a kinda shopping mini centre thing near mine to look for dresses and underwear as I bought this perfect jersey maxi dress for the plane but it's light grey and shows some lumps I don't like so frantically searching every shop for a black one! Had to go buy some black dye which I hope will work on the one I bought! Had to go to a massive tesco and buy and suitcase as all mine have vanished?! How can that be!! Came home (again!!!haha) packed, sorted hand luggage, washed up, now finally finally sitting down with a cuppa green tea for the first time today. Still have to bathe and de fuzz (eurgh) do all my nails too! No doubt bf will be up soon and want some dinner too. Busy busy day!

God what a ramble! Sorry! I don't know why I feel the need to share that with you all, god I'm strange! Ha!

Tomorrows the day tho! Eeeeek! So excited/nervous!! Xxx
 
Oh ps... Anyone using MFP don't use all your exercise cals, I found that's the key to losing when u CC. My fitpal also exaggerates cals burned, use no more than half for good results :) x

When I was at uni many many years ago I bought a mini stepper from Argos for £20. I religiously used it while watching Eastenders and Coronation Street and got really fit at the time. I never missed my soaps even then! It is still upstairs and I used it last week. I bought it about 1995 and it still works having been hammered. They still sell them. They are very small and you can sneak them behind the sofa or something when not using them.

Running is the cheapest form of exercise. Costs nothing and is probably the most effective of them all.

Really excited for you. I am actually quite jealous as haven't had a grown up holiday for about nine years! Make the most of it!

BRAINWAVE!!!!!!! Put a WANTED ad in your local free paper, on Gumtree which is free and any free classified ads on the net. A family friend did that for everything when I was a kid and got a new bathroom suite once because a woman bought it new but when fitted didn't like the colour! Some people have more money than sense and are so lazy that they can't be bothered to sell them. Also look out for ads marked Free To Collect. Hubby did that with caravans once and sold them on.

I think that I am a bit like you. When I analyse how and what I eat, it is actually really quite good. My problem is the evening chocolate binges, wine and splurges that happen ad lib and sporadically teamed with no exercise whatsoever that have done the damage. I also have a very all or nothing approach to everything. I can't do one square of chocolate I have to have the whole bar. I have to eat things that are naughty simply on principle because they are there, bit of a war rationing mentality I was brought up on. I was also brought up to clear my plate which is not necessary these days of excess. Cutting out the splurges and becoming active on a daily basis will solve the problem. MFP has confirmed this. I am officially giving up wine and alcohol until I am at goal because after a bottle of wine it is amazing what I can mindlessly pack away and of course eating when tipsy or drunk doesn't have to be counted!!!!!! LMAO

I think that is the beauty of this board, totally impartial support from people that won't gossip or talk about you to your friends or family and real people you can vent to who are not judging you just allowing you to springboard ideas, theories and emotions in a way that gets it off your chest without ranting at actual people where doing so would worsen the situation!
