Hey Donna!
Firstly, well done on your week 2 loss, thats great and also Paul has done outstandingly! Although he is naughty for sabotaging you - I am the saboteur (is that the right word?!) in my household - I have been a naughty girl for 4 whole days - and when I fall, aint nothing going to make me stop, except myself - I can't help myself. But I am doing myself no favours because I am just maintaining my weight and I can't afford to do that yet. MUST TRY HARDER!
Sorry to hear you are still struggling with work - my friend works in Basildon for the Government, I think its job centre plus or something - and she gets all sort of cr!p to deal with too - ahh the Government!
Can you let me have Paul's recipe for the Thai Curry - I do love Thai food. Thanks hun.
That Pizza looks lovely too, I might try that myself. So Warb Squares are 4 syns? Are they thick? I have yet to try the Smash pizza, the thought of it puts me off, but I do love a pizza!
Take care of yourself hun and have a good week!
x
Happy Monday Charley - isn't it a lovely day here in sunny Essex! So glad I am home instead of stuck at work
The Warburton's Square Wraps are 8 syns, I only had half, everybody else (excl my 2 year old) had a whole one, I still think for 8 syns and a HEA of cheese its yummy. I didn't really like the smash pizza found it too smashy lol. The pizza using the Tesco Wholemeal Mix is pretty good but I found i had to add loads of extra flour so add your water sparingly. I also like pizza made on the wholemeal pitta
Off Slimming World I do a pizza casserole it's delish - you layer all your ingredients in a casserole dish, then sprinkle with cheese and top with french stick and another sprinkle of cheese - I am gonna have a dabble and SW this - there is a recipe for syn free scones i think they might work as a good substitute for bread...watch this space!
Charley you have been very naughty - you need to figure out what is your trigger...mine is clearly my husband but I don't see a divorce any time soon (thank god) and the kids rarely go away, if you misbehave again this week I shall have to send you to the naughty step...
Here's Paul's Green Thai recipe (its based on the Philadelphia recipe) there is loads of sauce left which is really good on pasta for lunch the next day
Green Thai Curry, Serves 2, per portion = 5 syns (these are huge portions so each less reduce syns)
120g Philadelphia extra light = 8 syns
2tbsp Thai Green Curry Paste = 2 syns
4 Chicken breasts (I only used two)
1 red pepper sliced
1 green pepper sliced
1 red onion, finely chopped
4 tbsp skimmed milk (from HEA)
Fry light
Gently Fry onion and curry paste
Add chicken and cook 8-9 minutes til chicken is cooked thru
Add peppers and cook for a further 3-4 minutes
Add philadelphia and milk to pan and stir to melt
Serve with rice, really rich and creamy
