Donnie's food diary for Wednesday 21st October, it's a GREEN day.

I use an Oxo cube crumbled into a jug then I use Asda's gravy granule's to make the gravy - I only usually make about ½ a pint of gravy for the two of us as I don't like a lot, so I usually syn a drizzle of gravy at 3½ syns.

I always use just boiling water - that way I know exactly what's going into the granules and I can get the syns right.

I use both beef and chicken flavour oxo and granules depending on what meat I'm cooking.

I just thought that maybe your syns for the gravy were too high for just a drizzle, if there is no fat in there.? Maybe Im wrong.... well... I usually am. lol
 
My gravy may be synned too high (and probably is) Debby - but I always allow 3½ syns whenever I have gravy, that way I know I am covered syn wise. X
 
My DH loves his meal swimming in gravy - that's why I only make ½ a pint otherwise he would have more gravy than dinner, LOL......so when I have had my little drizzle he finishes the rest off.
