Yeah I think all landlords need to use them now, its def a good idea to take photo's when you leave on a digital camera with a date if possible. We're very happy now thankyou, been in our house a year and a half (moved in July, the night before little ones Birthday so will never forget that lol)

Aww thats fantastic!! So glad things are better for you now!! I hate private renting, it is a total rip off!! But unfortunatly even though we had a large amount of money for a deposit we still didnt meet the criteria fo a mortgage!! Will try again in the future though, how old is your little one?? X

We had an absolute nightmare, but its worth hanging in there until you do meet the criteria. Good luck for the future.
He's 4 now, 5 in July. He's a lovely little boy bless him

Aww how sweet, what a great age!! Unfortunatly had a messy divorce and landed with a joint account which i agreed to take a sizeable joint loan on to pay off HIS old debts then when things went south he landed me with it as he decided he wasnt gonna pay anything towards anymore!! I was liable for half!! On my own with my 18 month old son, had to give up work as had no child care and left with a mountain of current debt he didnt pay that i was unaware of on top of evrything else, my credit rating is less than perfect!! And angry as it someone elses mess!! Oh to turn back the clock and be less of a nieve young girl lol!! X

Totally agree, we've taken pics of things when we moved in, the painting was awful, it looked like an elephant had done it, it was all over the glass in the conservatory and the glass doors and windows. We've scraped all the paint off the glass and have painted all the battered doors and peeling paint ( after asking estate agent first!) it looks tons better now but just in case they argue we have the "before" pictures to show what a mess it was

Aww I'm sorry to hear that, but glad your on your feet and sorting things out for yourself. I know how you feel, luckily I managed to avoid debt but my little one's dad was abusive and also bad with money, so I lost a lot of money and also ended up a single mum when little one was 2 months old, but as grim as things seemed at the time, leaving him was the best thing I did. I can understand how angry you get at it all being his mess, but we all make our mistakes and the important thing is that we learn from them. I hope your well on your way to sorting out your finances and you do right to keep trying for a mortgage in the future as your credit rating will improve.

Don't we just! Am going thro a divorce myself after being together 27 yrs, it's hurting like hell as i do still love him but we've just grown apart and he's been living 100's of miles away for the past 5 years cos of work. I'm with a guy i've known as a friend for 12 yrs now and lots happier xx

Yup, i'll agree with that! My ex hubby wasn't very affectionate at all but luckily my new guy is. It doesn't take much to make someone feel wanted and loved! Xx

Yep it got my post holiday dark brown war paint off dropped the bottle on my cream bedroom carpet eeeek
As it worked so well I got complacent not worrying when I knocked stuff over etc but it doesn't remove melted patches from leaving your straighteners on the carpet :S
