Mmmm childcare? Im missing it... i cant stand paperwork policies, procedures, laws etc. I want to play with the kids again! Ive still got 5 key children but am really not doing as much as id like with them.

Thanks bubble! I'm really enjoying running. Not noticed and nsv's to be honest. I feel a lot better. I'm taking weekly photos to see if I can see any changes in my body. I forgot to weigh today too but not really bothered too much about the scales!

I love how passionate you are about children. To be honest I'm fed up of playing and would love a bit more paperwork! I think I would like to be a bit more ' behind the scenes' in childcare. We would make a good team! I'm on my second week of four of elklan speech training tomorrow. Looking forward to completing it and getting my Saturdays back but it's an interesting course!

I've heard of the elklan courses. That would deff be something i'd look for in the future. I always wanted to do SEN stuff.
Im fine thanx just not in the slimming spirit. Think when my kitchens finished and my gym equipment accessible again i can concentrate on it. But i cant cook in a dirty building site.
Glad ur feeling better exercise does give you a boost. Xx
 
Back in the 8s! !!! 8.12 and 1/2

Woooooo!

On my course again today. Then going to attempt a run or at least a dog walk. And this evening I have the mother in laws party. But I'm realllllly spotty!!! It's awful. I'm hoping a bit of the old toothpaste can help! Hope everyody has a nice Saturday!

I'm winging food today as I need food shop...

Breakfast- something with eggs?

Lunch - something out the cupboard?! Cous cous or tuna pasta. Or maybe make tomato soup

Tea- lentil bolognase

Syns- party food / alcohol !!!
 
New start after a bit of a naughty weekend!
After my course Saturday we were so hungry we grabbed a sandwich and sausage roll from the shop. Then rick went to the chippy so I stole a big handful of chips. Then we had party food. I made a roast yesterday (not sw friendly) and couldn't stop eating!!

Breakfast- 2 satsumas, two boiled eggs

Lunch- noodles with soy sauce, snap peas and baby corn

Tea- thai curry with light coconut milk. I made it last night though and it's very spicy so not sure I will eat it all. (7.5 syns)

Snacks- tomatoes, seafood sticks, freddo(5 syns)

You must be doing something right if you're back in the 8s! Well done! Do you reckon the running has had a big impact?! Weekend food sounds yum...and so does your thai curry! I had a thai on fri night and I always think it's impossible to do something SW friendly...but I really must hunt out some light coconut milk! Mmm salivating at the thought and it's not even 8am!! Xx

Thanks ging! I definitely think the running has helped. I feel a lot less flabby (.well I did on Friday!) I think I definitely need running in my life to help me lose weight around my middle. No amount of gym helps! Maybe I don't work hard enough in the gym!
I can't wait for curry. It did curdle a little bit though but not too much to put me off lol. Hopefully it won't be too spicy!

Hi jessy! Well done on your 10k. I'd love to come to one but the thought c of running for around an hour scares me a little bit!
 
Not today. Unless I go later this evening. I'm at work till 4 and need to wait for my pooch to get home (as she's in day care. .spoilt I know) if she gets dropped off in time I may do a short run. But I'm planning a long one tomorrow. Hopefully I can beat my 6.5!!

I'm tempted to throw in a fast day ( or 2) each week throughout December just to keep me on track, and maintain at least due to all the social events!
 
You could totally do 10k. I could only run just over 5 and found it tough but on the day you get an adrenaline and it's totally achievable. I think you would smash it tbh :) xxxx
 
Thanks jessy! I'm really tempted. I usually start running, really enjoy it then stop for whatever reason. Perfect weather for running though now. I couldn't run in the heat. I think my new years resolution will be to do some races!
