Eat, Sleep, Weigh, Repeat'

That's the big problem with running, if you do it consistently it's (reasonably) fun but as soon as you have a break, it's so hard to get back into! That's where I am now.

10km is great, my fave distance...I'm too slow for a good 5km and whilst I like 1/2 maras I have to train for them :)

Hi target140 , I totally agree with you about running being hard to get back into! Starting from the beginning is hard and not enjoyable!
It's interesting that you are not keen on 5k but like 10k. I thought everyone likes the short runs lol. I guess I can slow down and try running for longer . I think I get carried away by concentrating on my time. Thank you for your input! Will see how I go tomorrow!
 
Haha 10k is definitely not my fave! It knackers me and is time consuming but I'm proof that if you can do 5k you can do 10k. I kept to my slow 5k pace of about 7.5 mins per km.

I needed the race to get me doing the 10k so it might be worth you signing up for a race :) you too Pip! xxxx
 
Races scare me over here because everywhere is so hilly :( x

My race was hilly - Sheffield is a very hilly place too haha. But if you lean into the hill when running it really genuinely helps xxxx.
 
Breakfast is my worst meal of the day! I never know what to eat. I'm not a fan of porridge or cereal. I hate using hexa or b for breakfast. Especially both at once. And I'm getting a bit fed up of eggs. I never have time to make pancakes or anything as I'm up 5.30 as it is. And i cant stomach anything as soon as i get up. Any ideas?!!!!!!

Breakfast today- scrambled egg with 20g of feta. ( half hexa)

Will eat a banana before my run.

Lunch - butternut squash soup with rice cakes. Satsuma. Weetabix bar (hexb)

Tea- turkey chilli with kidney ,cannelili beans and butternut squash.
 
I love cold beans haha. I struggle with breakfast ideas as well. I never have the appetite and end up eating it at work when hungry.
 
Haha thanks guys! I love beans but can't eat them first thing. I think I will stick to yoghurt and fruit on work days. I'm popping out in a mo so going to look for the silicone muffin cases as the paper ones stick to the muffins I make. Thank you!
