I read a good article on body fat on the nerd fitness site recently. Can't link as on my phone but try googling it or remind me and will find link for you. Basically women will always be higher than men that's how we are built and only athletes and bodybuilders will really have really low values.

Oh and the scales that do it are pretty inaccurate as its depending upon how much water is in your body. X

Hi hun! Only you can do it hun! Well done on the 2.5stone in the past and at least you didn't put it all back on. And 2 years is ages! You'll get there! I think slimming world is a better idea than diet pills, I've never taken them so not sure if thy work! But adios is a natural product isn't it?
I think the key to losing weight is exercise. How much go you want to lose for your big day?

Yea I noticed the references to Paleo diet on the site.Will have to have a proper nose at the site,just read the body fat info last night.
 
Let me tell you a cool thing.....

...if I get lift at work (I usually walk so I not used it in ages) if has like 6 bars that light up red when at weight capacity! I used to be 2 lines on the scales. When I got lift today I wasn't even 1 line.....lol good isn't it! Then a guy got in with me and it went to 3!

So that was a nice surprise when I was being lazy this morning.
 
Paleo diet is in theory eating like cavemen did. So fish, grass fed organic meat, fruit, veg and nuts.

Cuts out pretty much everything else - no carbs, dairy, sugar, legumes etc

It's quite popular with athletes and such. Other than the Paleo diet stuff which obviously the guy is enthusiastic about as it works so well for him the rest of the nerd fitness website is great! Worth a read :) x
 
Yeah I'll have a look later actually!

Paleo seems too strict for me......and costly! Organic meat I buy anyway but i eat less meat since I started with organic/free range. But like you can't add carbs etc then it's too hard!

Go you :0) that's really good,I'm no good in small spaces so rarely use a lift!

Yeh it is crazy strict! The articles on exercise and stuff are great though as its for normal people wanting to get fit and lots of free stuff like body weight exercises that don't requires gyms or expensive equipment. X

Day 5

Breakfast - Shreddies(hexb) + milk(hexa) + banana
Lunch - vegetable cous cous with salad
Dinner - tba (tescos after gym)
Snacks - apple +Cereal bar (6 syns) +Kit Kat (11 syns)

Exercise
1 hour Zumba
1 hour run

Arghhh so I'm at -52syns and I've not have dinner and I have a whole day left! Role on Thursday! Fresh week please! Positive note I went for a run this morning before work and I have Zumba at 6!

I've now got about 3st5lb to lose. yea its naturall, reading the leaflet its surposed to help speed up your motabilism (i have an extrememly slow one and always have) ive not long just started aqua fit twice a week if i can fit it in between work and my very active 15 month old son :D aqua fit has to be the only exercise i've started and actually LOVE! Only thing is i get bored of the same things all the time on sw, seem to run out of ideas of things to cook and must have cooked everything out of the cook books twice over! haha i know ill get there eventually just wish i had somebody here that could just push me :)
 
What do you think is making you snack on the chocolate for the last few days Purpled? I mean it wasn't something you were doing regularly on WW, is it just a case of "I am over my syns for the week anyway so bleughh".

Your lift sounds evil!! That's so horrible to visibly show your weight to other people. Mean lift! But well done on only being one bar now.
 
I really don't know....I'm just craving the chocolate bar today! I don't think there is a reason behind it other than maybe feeling like I've failed this week, so maybe instead of making it worse I should do some damage control. But I think today I did a run in the morning and didn't eat enough after and I was hungry and not prepared.

Anyway guys.....the gym lady actually begged me to join their running team. She's been watching me and says I run well. Plus she said i beat her in race for life as I came 3rd wooop and she came 4th! She wants me to join their club and do competitions with them. I've said no.....as quite frankly I run when I feel like, not when I have to. So she said think about it. She's one of those annoying persistent people that never gives in. I need a good excuse lol

But I have been thinking of going for these tryouts to be on the field hockey team. It says 18+ but some of the ladies look 30ish maybe older. I'm just worried I'll go and it be full of 18 year olds. I'm used to be ace at hockey. Right back. I think it could be fun. I'm very competitive. So it will be less like exercise and more like 'let's beat some butt'

Do u think u need to come back to sf to get ur self back on track? As atomic said u never went off track for this long on sf, maybe a planned off track couple of days but not just falling off track!
 
Hockey sounds like a good way of exercising, fun too! I'm sure u won't b the eldest there, ur only 22?! That's only 4 yrs older!

Erm yeah I'll think I'll go back to SF Thursday after WI! So I have that 'new week' mentality!

I have done some crazy exercise this week....so damage my not be too bad!

And I havnt cut any meals out! I just didn't know what to have until I got back from tesco! I had quorn sausages with salad, cottage cheese and 3 bean salad!

So to make tomorrow manageable I am allowing myself 10 syns! Then back to SF thur!

I don't actually think its the SW that's made me go off track! I really don't feel myself.....im not tired physically! But I just can't seem to concentrate. But I think SW is harder to stick to! For my personally! I probably should have given it longer! But I think I eat way more on ww as I know I'm within my boundaries of the points. But on SW it feels like I have no control and there is no way of knowin if I'm under or overeating. Under eating means small losses for me.
 
Hockey sounds like a plan as much as I was never one for team sports when I was younger I fell totally in love with roller derby it was such fun belonging to a team and really looked forward to learning new things at practice and of course playing games and winning woohoo :p x
