Ella Belle's SF Diary

Excellent work on the exercise yesterday. That's really impressive. Do you think its easier pushing yourself because you know you used to be really fit? Its odd for me as I have never been fit or energetic in my life so this exercise thing seems like a totally new discovery to me.

I'm not sure if it's any easier, well it certainly makes me start exercising more but during the exercise I think it makes it harder as I know how it should feel. I don't tend to work out very hard, I just take it easy and keep at it.

Week 5 Day 5

B - Banana
L - BNS soup, ww bagel
D - Chicken Fajitas, handful BNS fries, 4x ww wraps, salsa, guacamole (2)
S - 2xmeringue(2), ww mousse(3), strawberries, cookie(1)

Weekly pp - 21/49

Exercise - 1/2 hr Mountain walk, 1/2 treadmill walk, Davina top-fit, Davina aerobic fit, Shred D25, 20min cool down

I was really disappointed this morning as it was too foggy to do the mountain climb I wanted to do and then I just got fed up so I only did 30mins of my normal walk. I'm feeling good though, I really enjoyed my dinner this evening, I use Jamie Oliver's recipe for Chicken Fajitas and salsa but I add a lot more chilli, for the guacamole I just mashed up some avocado with some garlic and spring onion. I also loved my meringue dessert..I've had a treat two different nights this week now, I'm getting better at allowing myself, I just really hope it doesn't mean a bad result on the scales on Tuesday :)

Sounds like a great day there! Lots of exercise! Shame about the mountain walk tho, I see ur on d25 of shred! Nearly done now! How's ur results been with it, ie lbs/inches lost? R u gonna get another one of her DVDs?

Hi Sarah, I've lost 10 and a half inches so far, 27cm's! I measure every night I weigh, I measure my waist, hips, chest, thigh, arm and calf. It has mostly been a reduction in my waist, chest and hips..OH is a bit raging about the reduction in my chest!! I'm planning to take a week off of the DVD's and then start Ripped in 30!

Wow that's great! I with I measured all over, I lost 1" waist and 1.5" on the biggest part of my belly! Purpled is doing the ripped in 30 days! I got 6 wk 6 pack and buns and thighs now so I really recommend this 2 they r brill!

I will definitely try them, I've had a look at Ripped in 30 and it looks a lot tougher than Shred..eeek!

Well done on a good day food and exercise wise, that's good about feeling fine about having treats as well.Brilliant news on the inches you have lost! Opps about your chest and the OH though!

Glad you are allowing yourself some treats now that's what weeklies are there for :) dieting is hard work anyway no point making it harder than necessary ;-)

Mountain walk sounds fab too x

I should clarify now when I say I ran 7miles, I was going so slow that a toddler would have been able to walk beside me and still keep up! I actually think I walk faster than I jog but the jogging is definitely harder so better!!! :)

dont tlk yourself down you still jogged 7 miles! like you said even though you could have walked quicker maybe, jogging is alot harder! im jealous lol i cant jog for even 1 mile let alone 7! xxx

When I started I was only able to do 10mins..and within 7months I did a half marathon (13.1miles) in 2hrs and 4mins! If I can do it, anyone can ;)

That's a great achievement! Well done :0)

Follow a prog Em, did I read your doing couch to 5k? Do that and then work up from there, pick an event to aim for, first a 5k and then do a 10k prog and pick a 10k event. I find if I pay for the race then I'm more likely to stick with the training ;)
