Ella Belle's SF Diary

That was 5years ago though Daisy...but I'll do it again in Sept though I doubt I'll do it as fast :)

You might be pleasantly surprised, you seem to be good with your exercise so your fitness levels are bound to keep going up :0)

Follow a prog Em, did I read your doing couch to 5k? Do that and then work up from there, pick an event to aim for, first a 5k and then do a 10k prog and pick a 10k event. I find if I pay for the race then I'm more likely to stick with the training ;)

yep..........i wrote that i was planning to start it last week.....didnt actually manage to actually do it though! lol such a lazy bones!!!! so yes will start some point soon! not setting a day because if i dont do it then i see ive failed before i've started lol!! so will start "soon" lol xxxx

Excellend work over the last couple of days and I think its really positive that you are allowing yourself more treats within your weeklies at the moment.

Amazing work on the inch loss! 10 and a half inches is outstanding. How long is that in?

Good luck for weigh in tomorrow (though I doubt you will need it ;) )

Just catching up Ella! Amazing losses in weight and inches! Brilliant. I drink peppermint tea when I feel bloated. Not sure it works. Never used to suffer but lately by end of day I have quite a tummy! X

Thanks beck, I might try peppermint tea, I used to drink it a lot but not lately. In fact I wonder am I bloated because I'm drinking less green tea. Most days I'd have about 3-4 cups of green tea but I've run out lately and am drinking jasmine ones..this could be the problem..

Morning :)

Welcome to my WI day!!!!

I'm actually not too excited about weighing in tonight as I couldn't resist a sneaky wi this morning and it wasn't good. I always weigh 3-4lbs less in the morning and if this is the case today then I've lost nothing. I'll wait and see tonight though, I'm still really keeping my fingers crossed for 2lbs as I really REALLY want to cross the stone mark today.

Yesterday was okay except my lunch was far too filling, I'm having the same today but a lot less. I'm thinking that WW bagels are too much for me. They are delicious but I'm just not sure they are a wise choice for me. I read that bagels are high GI too (could be wrong about this). I had intended just having an egg with my dinner instead of meat but then I gave in and had the chicken, it was delicious! (I seem to say that a lot..I wonder if my taste expectations are very very low!)

I did the Shred then yesterday evening and a Davina DVD, my shins were killing me from all the jumping though..really need to go to the physio this week. I was supposed to go swimming then but OH wanted to go play so we went and messed around playing hurling (Irish sport, hitting little balls with sticks) for a while. It's been about 2 years since I hit a ball but I can feel it in my back muscles today. I was disappointed with how unfit I was. I knew I had no sprint fitness but it became really obvious last night. I really want to work on this now, I hate being out of breath after just a few minutes of sprinting around.

ON with the work day now..bluergh...I hate working these days :)

Good luck for wi tonight, the scales may well say something different then :0) hurling sounds like fun,I wouldn't say you were unfit I'd say it was where you were using different muscles so you feel it now because of that.

U always say ur worried about ur Wi and u always get a great number! The only thing I would say is since starting this diary u have had big losses so u might b in line for a smaller one this wk?!

Hurling sounds fun, it's these sort of games that actually work an awful lot of ur body! Bit like tennis, that's meant to burn loads of Cals but it's fun so u dont feel like ur working out! I love tennis I'm just not good at hitting the ball! U kinda need to be able to hit the ball!

And working sucks!

You're right Sarah, I was looking at this just now, I've had good losses so I'm due a week of a low loss or a STS.

Yeah..you do kind of need to be able to hit the ball..and especially in hurling you need to be able to get catch a ball before it hits you as it can hurt A LOT..it's like a baseball in weight nearly :p

Ouch, I better not try that then! Be covered in bruises!

Well I might as well not be in work today, I have zero concentration so have gotten nothing done. I think I might have to change my wi day to Saturday or Sunday so I don't waste so much time.

I reckon your concentration on weigh in day will improve as the weeks go on. You have been on this plan for a relatively short period of time and have had absolutely AMAZING losses so far, I reckon that actually puts more pressure on you at the moment come weigh in day. The losses probably will slow down a bit, but this is a healthy part of weight loss, and then maybe weigh in won't seem so all consuming.

Although I am not one to talk, I always wake up early on Saturday morning because it weigh in, even though I usually hop on the scales every morning, so I rarely get a surprise!

2lbs off :D

I know I must be like a broken record on wi mornings when I'm moaning and worrying but I really didn't think I'd be down this evening as my weight this morning was very close to what I weighed this evening which almost never happens. Anyway, I'm delighted :) The first stone is gone!!! Just 3 to go..bring it on :character00115:

I am in a brilliant mood this evening, mostly because I had one of my favourite ever dinners..lasagne, coleslaw and chips with garlic bread...I made it healthier as it was the homemade lasagne, fries were bns, parsnip & sweet potato and the garlic bread was tiny but OMG it was ridiculously delicious. I kept on saying it the whole time I was eating until OH turned around and asked me if I was ever going to shut up and just eat it :p

I have crisps and choc waiting for me now and a new episode of Geordie Shore to watch (ok I know it's rubbish but that Charlotte girl in it really makes me laugh)

Roll on Week 6...it was going to be a pp week but feck that..it's too hard to plan..I might have a pp day instead ;)

Yay well done on your loss! And well done on a stone lost in 6 weeks! That's great! Your dinner does sound yum so no wonder you said about it..a few times..hehe ;0)
