Booked a holiday this morning! Am so excited, haven't had a holiday now since Sept 2009! We're going back to cuba early June, so now I really have a date to aim for my goal, would be great to get onto conso before then! :D

S: bowl sweetened greek yogurt
D: 1 breast of chicken in ginger, chilli & lime with green beans & broccoli, 150g rhubarb stewed & sweetened with greek yogurt

How exciting Em, and not that far away either! Yes you definitely must get into Conso by then, else it'll not be nearly as much fun.

DD - how horrible having a dentist who's rough. I know it's hard in the UK to find a dentist to take you on, else I'd advise walking. At least over here we can just go to a different one... (and pay him instead!)

Would you believe that after the last 2 times I've visited her, my gums and mouth hurt so much that I've actually cried when I brushed my teeth (and I have a pretty high pain threshold). And that was just after a scale and polish!

She didn't bother to get her assistant to hold my mouth open and just shoved in the whirring polishy thing, without even looking at what she was doing. I ended up with a bleeding mouth and a large, extremely sore lump on the inside of my cheek.

We're going to ask to see someone else at the same practice next time. The lovely South American man who we used to see left, sadly. He was lovely and gentle (not to mention rather gorgeous).

poor you dd, that sounds horrific! hope you get to see someone else next time. Am going to do my utmost to get on conso before i go, but i'm sure i'll work out a plan either way.

B: half cinnamon galette
L: 100g slice turkey meatloaf, 125g kiln baked smoked salmon
S: rest galette
D: just over 200g rosemary mint meatballs with quark mint dip

That does sound awful DD, and I'd not be able to resist telling them why you wanted a different person. My dentist works alone in a "flat" type environment, as is common over here. I told her when I first came that I have a low pain threshold, particularly where teeth are concerned, and she duly treats me with kid gloves! Lovely!

You lucky thing!

I'll be certain to tell them why I want to see a different dentist as I don't like to think of others suffering from the same fate.

Am lamenting the loss of that hour today, hate it when they change the clocks!

B: half cinnamon galette
L: just under 150g meatballs, 1 slice roast beef with french mustard
S: rest galette
D: ginger chill lime chicken (1 breast)
S: couple smoked mackerel fillets

How exciting to have a lovely holiday to look forward to - and you will look lovely in a cozzer on the beach. remember one Florida holiday insisting on sitting on the beach fully clothed - in jeans I think:D I am a bit more relaxed now, in the belief that I won't bump into anyone I know. I had to strip off last time we went to Florida after my Son was sick all over me on a boat trip :D I wouldn't be able to wear a bikini or anything like that though (although I do quite like my tankini with very full shorts and long top!)

My dilemma at the moment is whether or not to use the pool when I go away the weekend after next on my SOn's rugby tour - I am inclined to think not, since I know these other parents but not very well - and I don't feel confident about stripping off!! Maybe I will have to slope off for a massage and a pedicure instead :D

Oh Mouse you really should... ok perhaps you might wobble a little more than some of them, but I bet more than one has bad breath, smelly feet <whispers... or worse!> You might feel self conscious for three seconds as you move from your robe to the water, but then it's done; don't miss out.

I strutted my stuff in a bikini at about 16 stone... (probably wouldn't now, mind at 11 stone ish!!). All psychological cos I was on the way down then and had lost 5 stone!

One of my officemates keeps moaning about getting up in the morning since the clock change but, one advantage of being an early bird, I always get up in the dark!!
