ProPoints Enough is enough - this weight has got to go!!!

Well, currently this is the best pic of my hair I have! hair.jpg No face in it because I had no make up on! I will take a better pic when I have some make-up on :) I had a good 4/5 inches chopped off, maybe next time I will go shorter still!

Today's plan:
Milk - 3
B: Toast with lurpak and marmite. Tinned pears. Ran out of yogurts, off to Morrisons later! - 3
L: Tuna and couscous salad. Extra light mayo. Dollop ff mayo. Apple and melon. - 11
D: Salmon en croute (10), BNS and swede mash. Veg. WW salad cream. - 11
TOTAL: 28

Just thought I'd add, I had a naughty scale hop just now before having a bath....I was 10st 9lbs! Woop!

I think after last night I only have about 5 weeklies left for the weekend :cry: I'm such an eejit!

B: 1 slice toast with lurpak and marmite. - 3
L: WW chicken soup (2), small tin butterbeans (3), 1 ww petit pain (3). Tinned pears and 1 ww yogurt. - 9
D: 1 pizza express margherita (16). Salad with ww salad cream. - 16

TOTAL: 31
WEEKLIES USED: 5

Still 10st 9lbs today on my scales. Hope they stay there for Monday, or get lower of course. Will be good for me to have 2 low point days I think, although no glass of wine while watching the X factor though! Won't be the same without Rylan, bring him back! :)
 
Just had it sprung on me that we are going for a pub lunch/dinner (3pm) tomorrow with all the family! Poop. No weeklies left to use so have to be really savvy about this, going to plan now and hope it goes okay...try to keep it as low as possible.

Milk - 3
B: Pears, melon and grapes with 1 ww yogurt. - 1
3pm - Steak, jacket potato, salad and pepper sauce. - 16 Shall have to stick to the diet coke!
Evening meal, probs eat it about 9pm ish - WW wrap with 1 slice ham and 1 slice ww cheese, salad and extra light mayo. More fruit and 1 ww yogurt. - 6

TOTAL: 26

I don't know the exact points in my dinner of course. To be honest, I'm not sure if it's worth pointing it at all, but I'm trying to take accountability for it by eating light the rest of the day. I don't know :confused: Ah well. Sunday will be a 26 point day. Just hope I will have lost this week but I know I've been pretty stupid about my points this week, will serve me right if I don't! x
 
Morning......well, trying to stave off breakfast for as long as possible as not going out for lunch until 3pm. Drinking lots of tea and coffee in the meantime, going to try and wait until 11am to eat it if I can. Looking forward to steak though, although no wine at a family lunch seems really boring :( Never mind.

Gained a pound this morning. Not good enough. Today, however, is a new week. I am going to be so busy getting these assignments done so there's not a chance I'll risk drinking in the week. This has proved to me once again that I can't afford to - I NEED those points for the weekend, or this just doesn't work for me.

So here's today:

Milk - 3
B: Usual. - 4
L: WW wrap (3), 1 slice corned beef (2), salad and extra light mayo (1). Tin ww chicken soup (2). Melon and yogurt. - 9
D: 70g spaghetti (7), 100g quorn mince (2), tonnes of free veg to bulk meal out - carrots, onion, celery, cabbage!, gravy granules to add flavour (1). - 10
About 2 points of Isla's pie: 2

TOTAL: 28
WEEKLY POINTS USED: 2
WEEKLY POINTS BALANCE: 47

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to post like a petulant teenager, I know I came across that way.

I'm really fed up right now; I can't seem to stop myself going overboard at the weekends. I am so snowed under with uni work...I feel really out of my depth with it all - the amount of work, the content, everything. I don't know what I'm doing if I'm being honest. I think I've been drinking to try and forget about what's expected of me. A really juvenile response, I'm aware of that :( I just feel I'm in this situation and I don't know how to get out of it. I'm really trying to put a structure together for my assignments...I have 2 2000 word essays due in on Monday and I've had ages to do them and I'm only just getting started. I don't know why I do this to myself!!!

So I'm sorry, I don't mean to come across stroppy with anyone :( I just want to lose this weight and feel happy about myself and my life and it feels like it's all going wrong :(
 
Hey don't worry you didn't come across that way at all

Gosh I don't envy you with the essays. I think we all have things in life that mean we can struggle with sticking to a 'diet' so don't beat yourself up. We are only human xxxxx

If I drink I wud only drink on a saturday night why dnt u maybe try that?
I have done terrible friday saturday and sunday I dint track because ei have eaten utter sh*t and today eaten cake :( I weighed myself and it said I have gained 9lb :( so I'm dreading thursday!
Dnt feel down hun! U have a lot going on with uni, jus try nuckle down and get that done and then have a nice ddrink when ur done :) xx

I think it's also cos I have been trying to get past 10st 12lbs for a whole year, I feel like I'll never get past it! Even when I'm trying hard I never get past it. I've been swinging between 11st 2lbs - 10st 12lbs for a whole year....that's, what, 6lbs I seem to vary inbetween at any given time when I'm not dieting. So I guess the 4lbs I have lost don't feel 'real'. I don't think it'll feel real until I get past that weight.

I've decided to take my new weigh day as a Thursday. It'll be before my weekend splurges so will hopefully be my 'true' weight and not influenced by any weekend binging and any water weight hanging around. Don't know how to alter my signature to reflect this yet :eek: Should I count my new weigh day on Thursday as week 5 weigh in? Or just put a break in my new signature that I've changed weigh days, although my weekly points will still begin on a Monday? Or should I change them to a Thursday beginning? Argh! I don't know what to doooooooooooooo :(
 
Switching to a Thursday WI sounds like a great idea, don't stress too much about your signature, just do what is right for you x
 
I love weighing in on a thursday (I normally have the week to recover unlike this one doh)! Dnt worry about what t put in that though..
Us who follow will no anycase.. I wud say though if ur goin to WI on thursday then u sud start ur weekelies on the thursday as well!!
