ProPoints Enough is enough - this weight has got to go!!!

Thanks hun. Holly had a bug last week so kind of expected her to come down with it. It came on so suddenly though, she started to complain of a tummy ache but seemed fine in herself, so I gave her some calpol to try and help with the stomach pain and within 10 seconds of swallowing it she projectiled all over the sofa!!! Was horrific! She seems a lot better today though, poor love was starving this morning!
 
Spending the whole day at uni today to finish these assignments so today is most likely off plan. Not too worried though, think will just call this week a write off. I will stay on track tomorrow onwards until Saturday, keep my points low. But today is never going to happen, I'm too busy and the uni canteen choices are never low in points. Never mind. I may even have a glass of wine or two to celebrate these assignments finally being done! Good luck to everyone else, and sorry I haven't been around much :)

You need some lovely nice food inside you to work better ;) Plus, you defo need wine to celebrate!!

This is just life hun so I wouldnt let it bother you... The main thing is that you can get back on plan straight afterwards and by the sounds of it you will x
 
Thanks girls! Without points, just for interest, today's food looks like this:
B: 2 slices wholemeal toast with spread and marmite. Tinned pears.
L: Salad pot from canteen (cucumber, beetroot, dollop of coleslaw, pasta salad in some sort of creamy/mustardy dressing), small pot of tuna mayo. 1 granny smith apple.
Snack: Wispa bar and a cappucino when I handed my assignments in!


Dinner will be ristorante pizza, salad and a large glass of red when Will gets home! My last presentation is tomorrow, then I finish at 12pm for the year! Can't rest though, as next week will be back on it again as 2 more (albeit shorter) assignments due in on 7th January, and what with Christmas and Centre parcs first week of January I do not want them looming over my head for the whole christmas break! Then 14th January I will be on placement until 22nd March and I am completely dreading it, although it will be a good opportunity to get back on plan. My last placement was dreadful, my mentor tried to fail me and called my professionalism into question despite her no end of *****ing at the top of her lungs about me in the kitchen! She was horrible and it's really shaken my confidence tbh :mad: Ah well. Won't think about it tonight. Hurry up with that wine, Will!!!

Thanks sammie, I didn't wi and I'm completely off plan at the moment :( I do primary school teaching at uni, tough but I do love it.

I'm not well at the moment. I suffer with depression and I think the stress of the last few weeks has triggered an episode for me and I'm totally on my arse at the moment. I spent all day in bed today and I've been crying on and off since yesterday. The best I can hope for for Christmas is to maintain, or just gain a few lbs and have a fresh start in the new year.

I need to get well for next year. Been given my placement school now, it's in the next town which will be a challenge. I'm at a private nursery so will be in foundation stage again which I'm pleased about. I'm specialising in early years so very happy about that. Just don't want to spoil it by being poorly :(

Right first off forget dieting at the minute u have to jus get ur self better! u jus need to take things easy huni! why dnt u jus try and focus on ur uni work and get that out the way! Then jus have an amazin christmas with ur family! Most people (me included) will gain a few pounds over christmas its the one time of year i wud say most people do(i no i will) but like u say when the new year comes get back on it if ur well enough huni!

its great u have a work placement and becoming a teacher wow that will fab!

I dnt no if u will come back on before christmas but if u dnt i wish u (and of cors lil Isla) a very Merry Christmas huni and a happy new year and really forget the diet Weight Watchers will still b here and ready for u in January!

Hello all :) Thanks for the lovely messages of support, I really appreciate it. I weighed in this morning after quite an indulgent weekend, I was 10st 10lbs so very happy with that. Am going to try to keep my days as low as possible in the run up to Christmas, and try not to worry about the days when we have things to do with family/food etc. Aiming for 26 points today :)

Milk - 3
B: 1 slice toast with lurpak light and marmalade. Tinned pears. - 4
L: Chicken and vegetable soup (4), 1 ww petit pain (3) 1 slice ham and extra light mayo (1). 1 ww yogurt. Pear.
D: 3 quorn fillets (3), veg stew (2), cous cous (5). - 10

TOTAL: 26

sounds like ur more upbeat which is fab! and thats a great thing to do, u have to enjoy christmas huni u cnt no have a roast pot coz were worryin about points its only one day a year!
i have been anughty but i too am tryin to keep my points down now until christmas eve!!

i hope lil Isla is ok! i bet she is so excited for christmas! what are u doing for christmas? do u spend it at home or do u have to visit family?xxxx
 
Hi all, sorry I've not been around much lately - busy times here! I hope you all had a merry Christmas :)

I have basically gained the weight I lost, possibly more. It's all gone to hell here. I will be starting again in January once our holiday to Centre Parcs has been and gone :)
