I read that as on BISCUITS! But hey, I like (experi)mental food  :8855:

Tahini I used to use for hummus a lot but I dont need to these days as I uually make jalapeno hummus. I think 2 dsp's is a HEXB on Green? You only really need 1 dsp for hummus:

- 1 tin chickpeas, drained, (reserve the juice)
- couple cloves garlic, crushed
- juice of 1/2 a lemon
- 1 dsp tahini
- salt & pepper

Whizz it in a processor with 3 or 4 tbsp of the chickpea juice to desired consistency, et voila! I use 1 tbsp jalapeno juice and about 10 jalapeno slices and a tsp cumin and omit the tahini for a spicy version. You can chuck all sorts in it though, carrot hummus is quite nice, Ive got quite a few hummuses in my diary. :)

You can also use tahini in sandwiches and stuff, its quite nice mixed with grated carrot and stuff, you doint need much and then you can also omit butter & stuff and save syns that way. It keeps for ages in the fridge.

I tend to write my diary while its cooking, so by the time Ive polished it (and the wine) off Ive forgotten to add my syns  My bad :whoopass:

Ive also just had a bacon butty - proper, crispy STREAKY FATTY BACON!!! And still only 1.5 syns a slice! How bargain is that?!

Ohhhh,
Didn't know streaky bacon was only 1.5 a slice ;-). I defrosted some by accident and have avoided it. Bacon sarny is on the cards for tomorrow me thinks!
