Ess3X Girly - last chance to loose - Diary

Oh I will have a look and gets some see what it's like. Quick question my fab drink is Malibu and diet come which I know is a big no no Malibu has 5.1 carbs per ounce opps! What about plain rum with coconut juice? Any ideas?

Rum is fine - even golden ok:) i have with soda and slice lemon and now prefer but guess you could have with sf mixer

Its weird as rum is Bacardi isn't it and I hate Bacardi but love Malibu :-( will get some soda and give it a try just wondering for my holiday in 4 weeks what I am going to drink as I don't want to one off diet altogether but I can't drink vodka I am so fussy and weird lol

I prefer the flavour of golden rums to ordinary bacardi - worst case i drink with diet coke (but i hate diet coke!)

Thinking it have to be whiskey and diet coke shame as I have two bottles of Malibu in the cupboard :-(

Soya flour is vile. Horrid sour taste. I've seen a lot of people get it and no one use it more than a couple of times - I last tried it several years ago: never again.

Hi glad u posted this, I had seen sita flour and was debating whether to try it, won't now

Almond flour is lovely for baking though - but do need to watch serving sizes as packs a powerful calorie punch:)

Yep I love almond flour but have to watch cals and carbs - it's also owl only.

Oh well ordered some soya flour will give it a go and see how I get on lol

Evening EG ... Hope you get on with it ... Too many cals for me at the moment! But one day ..... Xx

Well I was thinking I have got to watch the carbs content - but going to the waffle recipe in the book just to see what happens as strictly I should still be doing induction. Be resisting the scales this week! Made it all the way from Friday without getting on them - so going to try and last until this Friday - just hoping I will be pleased with it! Need 2lb off for the stone and back into the 14's so fingers crossed.
Been struggling this week with lunches for work so I think I will need to sit down at the weekend and have a think about it.

How about taking a chicken salad in Tupperware? Cook your chicken, add some mayo, chives, maybe some cooked veg, then throw some salad into the bottom of the tub the morning you're off to work and put the chicken on top.

Hey ML sounds like a plan think I may have to do that stop trying to just get something at work - normally end up with a babybel and some meat lol.
Well steak for dinner yummy.
Made the Belgium Waffles from the recipe section of the book with the soya flour obviously not as sweet as normal waffles but came out okay and the soya flour taste was masked lol by the other bits. But have to say could only eat half of it as I can't eat bulky stodge anymore, but it satisfied the sweet craving x

i had the same problem trying to find something to take to work, oopsie rolls made into square shapes saved me, as i think they are fab with cheese n tomato with a little mayo, i had one with ham the other day it was ok too. i usually make one large rectangle oopsie and cut it into bread shape slices. then i can have pretend sandwiches anytime.

I will have to give the oppsie ago is it on ML recipes?

okay quick question - coconut milk - dairy free - nutritional information:
Per 100ml - 27 cals, Protein - 0.2g, Carbs - 1.9g
Is this okay to have? It seems to have the less carbs than double cream? I know technically it comes from a nut, and I am not at that stage yet but its just really nice in a cuppa coffee?
I guess it may be a case of try and see if it has any side effects on the weight loss, but just wondering what anyone else thought? I know that Almond milk is okay on induction according to the new book so ......

Hi I have used coconut milk in Thai curries in the past and it did not affected my weight loss, I would think it would be nicer than the almond one....

Well I am going to give it a try and see - hope it doesnt affect me too much want at least 2lb off tomorrow to make the stone! fingers crossed x

Well, I don't know for sure, but we're allowed coconut oil in Induction, so my immediate thought is that it would be okay.

Just make sure you know how much you're having and count the carbs, and I should think you'd be fine. :)
