Everyone else has got one... so now it's my turn

OMG Emma!!! That's Fantastic News, I'm so proud of my little (Will)PowerPuffer ;-) I should cross my legs more often ;-) Im excited for tomorrow now, fingers crossed ill get a decent result too!!! Whoop Whoop, Go Emma Go Emma Go Go Go!!! PS-Technically when u stepped back on the scales last week u was 0.5lb heavier so if you'd used that weight you would of had a STS ;-) x

Haha... Yeah... I thought that to myself after I left meeting.
Just can't believe I got away so lightly (no pub intended haha).
I'm sure you'll do brilliantly tomorrow.
And you should definitely relax this next week whilst you're away.
Don't think about your weight or sticking to plan too much.
You need to enjoy yourself

That's brilliant news Emma!!! Your damage limitation the last few days must've been brilliant! Woo hoo!!!! And you didn't have to pay :)

I didn't work as hard as I could've done this last 4 days on damage limitation, but apparently I got away with it.
And yeah, I didn't have to pay, but I haven't cancelled my membership yet so I have paid for it.
I didn't want to cancel it this week because I was expecting a big gain.
But now I know even with a food heavy weekend, I only put on half a pound, I'll cancel it.

Decided to up my points to 29 this week and see how I get on.
Still won't be using any weeklies just yet.
Don't want to make it too obvious to my leader that I want to lose a bit more.

I was thinking about this on the way home, think I'm going to try and include as many F&H Foods as I can whilst I'm away, that way I can still enjoy the Breakfast and Dinner which has been provided. X

You have the list of f&h foods in the front of your shop book don't you?
And you know that if you're doing f&h properly, anything that's not on the list gets taken out of your 49 weeklies yeah?

It sounds like a good idea because there's actually a lot on that list that are quite high when pointing so I tend to miss them out altogether.
And I know your portion sizes are like mine, and I love butlins good and going up for more.
So try and promise yourself to go up just the once (providing you're at buffet like I used to when I was younger) and maybe leave something on your plate.

Obvs it's up to you what you do, but that's what I would try and do.
However it's easier said than done lol

I think I'm just going to go F&H at Breakfast and Dinner but allow myself 3 Puddings (as we are there for 3 nights) which I won't count, ok they will probably exceed the 49 Weeklies but I don't have puddings at home ever! X

Oh my god well done Emma that's fantastic news you must be chuffed I'm so happy for you I really am!
Yea dnt tell her you want to lose more keep that your naughty lil secret

Well done hunni xxx fantastic !! That's nothing !! A wee ( my leader used to say haha) xx

Haha.
A wee indeed.
Should've gone before I weighed lol.

Although my leader did say that people gain a bit more during the warm weather because their bodies hold water when they don't drink enough.
I definitely don't drink enough - but then I've never really drunk much.
I just rarely feel thirsty.
If I'm thirsty, I'll drink, but I don't usually have something to drink just for the sake of it.
Bit bad, I know.
And could be why I get dizzy.

But yeah... my point is, that half a pound was probably just water retention because I don't drink enough haha

I reckon if a wee is 1/2lb then a poo must be 2lb?!? No wonder I was losing measly half pound with my 10 day blockage! X

A 10 day blockage is easily 6lbs though haha.

Allo allo allo.

Time to update about my day.

Started off waking up at the boy's (after a reeeeeally good catch up last night ;) lol) and then headed home when he went to work.
I don't go straight to the gym on a thursday because it's too early.
I like to go about half 8, so I finish in time to go straight to WI at 10.

I sweated like an absolute pig today in the gym - not sure why.
I didn't work any harder today and it wasn't any hotter than normal.
But anyways.
Got to WI and I was ready for it.
After such a crazy weekend and being super strict since Sunday, I was ready to face the scales.
Got on and it said 10st0.5.
Are you for real? Half a pound on?! For all that food?!
I was so impressed.
I didn't get back on though - didn't want it going up like it did last week haha.

After meeting, headed to grandma's for lunch.
I made an important decision regarding WW today.
When you maintain, you're allowed to increase your points by 3-6 points.
So instead of the 26 I've been on for the last few weeks, I can have any number from 29 to 32.

Last week, after my fattening weekend, I stuck to 26 dailies to try and limit the amount of damage I did (obviously worked haha).
But today I've decided to up my dailies to 29 points and see how I get on.
I'm secretly hoping it'll let me lose a couple of pounds, and I can blame losing weight on experimenting with maintaining, rather than because I want to get to 9st9.

I'd much rather be at my bottom limit, have a meal out and go up to my goal, rather than stick at goal, have a meal out and go up to my upper limit.
But I don't want my leader to think I'm trying to scam her by losing extra weight.
So if I can blame it on trying to maintain, then I'm sure she won't mind.
It's all trial and error at this point.

So this week, everything is staying the same - number of gym sessions and classes, no using AP or weeklies - except the number of dailies I'll be having - 29 instead of 26.
I won't know how it affects me until I try it.
So here goes.

After grandma's, I went home and got ready for work.
Work wasn't bad.
Yesterday I mentioned date checking the stock - well I didn't get to finish it yesterday, so managed to sneak half an hour in today.
Was hoping for longer as it's still not finished, but it's all I was allowed.
However, tomorrow I know there's at least 4 of us on Customer Service tomorrow, which is far too many, so I'll be able to do it tomorrow.

BUT... today I asked a question to my CS manager... I wasn't sure what he'd say, but if you don't ask, you don't get.
I asked him if I could be in charge of date checking.
There's a new system just been introduced and it needs updating with all the dates of stock and it'll tell you how close each thing is to expiring.
Much better system than the diary we've had because people don't fill it in properly, don't check it properly or write stuff onto a piece of paper, put it into the diary and then noone ever checks it.

So, I asked him and he said YES!
I was so pleased.
I can't wait to get started.
So as well as date checking the chocolate tomorrow, I'll be date checking the rest of the store room as well.
I'm one of only 3 members of staff allowed in the food store room now after an incident last week - everyone else has been banned, and it hasn't gone down well with some older (as in been there longer) (more arrogant members of staff) that I'm allowed in there and they're not.
If I hadn't been in the right place at the right time then I wouldn't have been allowed in there either.
It was just circumstantial. But worked in my advantage.

So today I tried to start updating the system with the dates.
I started with one piece of paper and nothing looked right.
The dates for fruit pastilles were claiming on paper to be July 13 & Sept 13.
Obviously the July ones need dealing with soon, so I went to check them, and there weren't any.
Just Sept 13 and Nov 13 ones.
However Nov 13 weren't on my list.
But it was only done yesterday.
And as far as I'm aware, no fruit pastilles came in today.

Nothing made sense on the list, so I've decided to do it all myself.
That way I know it's right.
But I'll speak to my CS manager about that tomorrow.

But yeah... pretty excited about having a responsibility.
Something that I'm in charge of.
Need to make sure is done properly.
Yeah... it's a bit if pressure, but it suits my personality in my need to make sure everything it done right.

After work, came home and had Sainsbury's Be Good Sweet Chilli Chicken & Noodles for just 9pp.
A huge portion and only cost £1.
Will have to buy some more. Was yummy.
Defo worth the 9pp.

And then, because of my extra 3pp, I had 5pp for pudding.
In Iceland on Tuesday, I bought a tub of Toffee & Fudge 900ml ice cream for £1.
I'd worked out that 100g is 5pp.
Not bad considering the 110g tub of B&J's I had last week was 8pp.
So I measured out 4pp worth of ice cream (88g) and topped it with 14 (15g) of jelly tots for 1pp to make this...

Mmmmmmmmmm.

Now I'm just chilling, catching up on diaries, going on about my new exciting role at work, thinking about how I'm gonna go on tomorrow and just going with the flow.

Pay day tomorrow!!
Finally as I've not been paid Jobseekers since 1-2 weeks before starting my job officially... and I've been working there 5 weeks now (which shocked me the other day because I thought it had only been 3 weeks... time is flying by).
And talking about flying by... just 11 weeks til I go to Cumbria and hopefully climb Scafell Pike, meaning I'll have climbed 2 of the UK's 3 biggest mountains in just 6 months with just Ben Nevis to go.

How exciting!!!

Right... I'm finished rambling now.

Well done if you made it through.

xxx

Thank God I don't have those problems anymore! X

That's really good that you're not having problems anymore.
Is it the change in medication do you think?

I think it's just the fact that I'm avoiding apples and bananas, yes I had one of each on Monday to prevent a bad pub choice but obviously that wasn't enough to cause a blockage! I also limit my Wholemeal, in fact I don't think I had any this week and I think I've been every day?!? X PS-Your pudding looks yummy even though I don't even eat ice cream like that! X

Ooh exciting about your job & taking more responsibility....I imagine the people who've been there longer show no initiative which is why they don't get to do other stuff! Where do you work that had a stockroom full of fruit pastilles??

Haha... it wasn't a stock room of fruit pastilles... it was stock on the shop floor.
And I work at The Range.

And I suppose not.
I just ask.
If you don't ask, you don't get.
I honestly didn't think he'd agree, let alone so easily.
So was really chuffed when he said yes straight away.
He said he was considering delegating tasks to people, and I've done him a favour by offering to do it.
So looking forward to getting on it tomorrow at work =D

Good Morning Emma, I hope you have a good day at Work, with it being School Holidays, I should have my result posted up before you go to work today ;-) x

Thanks.
I'm quite looking forward to work today, get stuck in with this date checking and the new system haha.
And ooh... Didn't think you'd get done in time.
Forgot Poppy was off school.
I'm leaving for work in half an hour!! Haha
