Allo allo allo.
Time to update about my day.
Started off waking up at the boy's (after a
reeeeeally good catch up last night
lol) and then headed home when he went to work.
I don't go straight to the gym on a thursday because it's too early.
I like to go about half 8, so I finish in time to go straight to WI at 10.
I sweated like an absolute pig today in the gym - not sure why.
I didn't work any harder today and it wasn't any hotter than normal.
But anyways.
Got to WI and I was ready for it.
After such a crazy weekend and being super strict since Sunday, I was ready to face the scales.
Got on and it said 10st0.5.
Are you for real? Half a pound on?! For all that food?!
I was so impressed.
I didn't get back on though - didn't want it going up like it did last week haha.
After meeting, headed to grandma's for lunch.
I made an important decision regarding WW today.
When you maintain, you're allowed to increase your points by 3-6 points.
So instead of the 26 I've been on for the last few weeks, I can have any number from 29 to 32.
Last week, after my fattening weekend, I stuck to 26 dailies to try and limit the amount of damage I did (obviously worked haha).
But today I've decided to up my dailies to 29 points and see how I get on.
I'm secretly hoping it'll let me lose a couple of pounds, and I can blame losing weight on experimenting with maintaining, rather than because I want to get to 9st9.
I'd much rather be at my bottom limit, have a meal out and go up to my goal, rather than stick at goal, have a meal out and go up to my upper limit.
But I don't want my leader to think I'm trying to scam her by losing extra weight.
So if I can blame it on trying to maintain, then I'm sure she won't mind.
It's all trial and error at this point.
So this week, everything is staying the same - number of gym sessions and classes, no using AP or weeklies - except the number of dailies I'll be having - 29 instead of 26.
I won't know how it affects me until I try it.
So here goes.
After grandma's, I went home and got ready for work.
Work wasn't bad.
Yesterday I mentioned date checking the stock - well I didn't get to finish it yesterday, so managed to sneak half an hour in today.
Was hoping for longer as it's still not finished, but it's all I was allowed.
However, tomorrow I know there's at least 4 of us on Customer Service tomorrow, which is far too many, so I'll be able to do it tomorrow.
BUT... today I asked a question to my CS manager... I wasn't sure what he'd say, but if you don't ask, you don't get.
I asked him if I could be in charge of date checking.
There's a new system just been introduced and it needs updating with all the dates of stock and it'll tell you how close each thing is to expiring.
Much better system than the diary we've had because people don't fill it in properly, don't check it properly or write stuff onto a piece of paper, put it into the diary and then noone ever checks it.
So, I asked him and he said YES!
I was so pleased.
I can't wait to get started.
So as well as date checking the chocolate tomorrow, I'll be date checking the rest of the store room as well.
I'm one of only 3 members of staff allowed in the food store room now after an incident last week - everyone else has been banned, and it hasn't gone down well with some older (as in been there longer) (more arrogant members of staff) that I'm allowed in there and they're not.
If I hadn't been in the right place at the right time then I wouldn't have been allowed in there either.
It was just circumstantial. But worked in my advantage.
So today I tried to start updating the system with the dates.
I started with one piece of paper and nothing looked right.
The dates for fruit pastilles were claiming on paper to be July 13 & Sept 13.
Obviously the July ones need dealing with soon, so I went to check them, and there weren't any.
Just Sept 13 and Nov 13 ones.
However Nov 13 weren't on my list.
But it was only done yesterday.
And as far as I'm aware, no fruit pastilles came in today.
Nothing made sense on the list, so I've decided to do it all myself.
That way I know it's right.
But I'll speak to my CS manager about that tomorrow.
But yeah... pretty excited about having a responsibility.
Something that I'm in charge of.
Need to make sure is done properly.
Yeah... it's a bit if pressure, but it suits my personality in my need to make sure everything it done right.
After work, came home and had Sainsbury's Be Good Sweet Chilli Chicken & Noodles for just 9pp.
A huge portion and only cost £1.
Will have to buy some more. Was yummy.
Defo worth the 9pp.
And then, because of my extra 3pp, I had 5pp for pudding.
In Iceland on Tuesday, I bought a tub of Toffee & Fudge 900ml ice cream for £1.
I'd worked out that 100g is 5pp.
Not bad considering the 110g tub of B&J's I had last week was 8pp.
So I measured out 4pp worth of ice cream (88g) and topped it with 14 (15g) of jelly tots for 1pp to make this...
Mmmmmmmmmm.
Now I'm just chilling, catching up on diaries, going on about my new exciting role at work, thinking about how I'm gonna go on tomorrow and just going with the flow.
Pay day tomorrow!!
Finally as I've not been paid Jobseekers since 1-2 weeks before starting my job officially... and I've been working there 5 weeks now (which shocked me the other day because I thought it had only been 3 weeks... time is flying by).
And talking about flying by... just 11 weeks til I go to Cumbria and hopefully climb Scafell Pike, meaning I'll have climbed 2 of the UK's 3 biggest mountains in just 6 months with just Ben Nevis to go.
How exciting!!!
Right... I'm finished rambling now.
Well done if you made it through.
