Everyone else has got one... so now it's my turn

Oh yes.
I forgot to mention.

Whilst at the hospital yesterday, the nurse took my blood pressure and said it was low.
She asked if it was always low and I said yes - that my gym instructor had told me it was low.

She then asked if I ever felt dizzy and I told her that I get dizzy when I stand up too quickly and then was asked if I'd seen the doctor about it.
I said I'd been a few weeks ago and mentioned it to the doctor because I'd had those awful week long dizzy spells and that the doctor had checked my ears, said there was nothing obviously wrong and if it carried on in a week, to go back.

As you were all aware of at the time, they stopped after about a week, so I didn't bother going back.

But now I'm getting quite regular ear blockages.
It's the kind of feeling you get when you go swimming and you get water in your ears.
The nurse suggested I go bak to the doctor and get it checked out.

So I should really do that.
I've just had dizzy spells when standing up for as long as I remember and just accepted that's something I have to deal with.

You need to go get that checked out Sweetie! And we will all keep badgering you till you do ;-) I hope your shift goes ok and if I don't get to speak to you before, I hope your classes are ok too. X

I'm back! For good! It turns out I have gained weight... I've been really awful and eaten so much and I need the structure of WW to keep me on track.

Are you going to stay a gold member or leave and then lose more weight?

Yea you should defo get that checked out it could be low blood sugar levels or something

Thanks - work went well.
We were date checking stock today, which is really weird as I was planning on asking if I could date check the stock in the store room as it hasn't been done and I've been eager to get it done for the last week or 2.
And I knew there was gonna be 3 of us in today, which is more than enough to hide me away in the store room.
Got in and was told that that was what I was going to do.
Didn't get it all done, but got the majority of it.
Took so long because I had to sort all the chocolate bars into months, then into dates and then write them all down.
Took a good 3 hours to do and still got a box to do.
Ah well... it's a start and I'll get it finished soon hopefully.

Yeah... I need to go back and ask.
I'll do it.
I just feel awkward going and reasking about something that I've already asked about and been dismissed about.
Although I suppose she didn't really dismiss me, she said to go back if I still felt dizzy after a week, and I felt better so I didn't go back.
But she did say my blood level was absolutely normal... which I found odd as my gym instructor had said it was low, and again, the nurse yesterday did.
Surely the doctor should've mentioned that it was normal, but low.

And having low blood pressure is possibly why I passed out after giving blood 2 out of the 3 times I did it.

Who knows.

I'll get back to them soon.
Promise.

Awesome that you're back.
Not good that you've gained weight, but I'm glad you're able to see that WW can and does work.
We'll get you to your goal!

I think I'll stay a gold member for now, slim down to my absolute minimum of 9st9 and see how I feel there.
If I still want to go down, I may speak to my leader and set a new target and start paying again.
Who knows.
I've gotta get down to goal weight again first after putting on loads over the weekend.
"Official" weigh in tomorrow - can't wait to see what damage I've done.

I hope you get your dizziness sorted! Was your BP normal when your GP measured it, then low the other two times? Maybe you felt stressed in the GP surgery which was why it was higher? I remember feeling faint so went to see my GP but got really panicky beforehand and my heart was racing so by the time he took my BP it was normal!

Yeah defo go back - I wouldn't feel awkward about it. Like you said it stopped after a week & now you've had another low blood pressure recorded. If you've always felt dizzy when you stand up something's amiss...

Your task at work today sounded right up my OCD street ;-) x

I'm feeling good about tomorrow.
Not good as in I'm gonna get a loss.
But good because I know I've put on and I don't mind because I hit target and celebrated.
Just hoping I've managed to do enough damage limitation to get my gain as low as possible.
You still feeling nervous about weighing in??
I'm sure you'll do fine.

You two need to wait and see! Both your fates and are in the hands of the scales and I think they are going to be kind to both of you :) Lots of Love my little Thursday Weighers. X

Ya def get dizziness checked. It could be low blood sugars though that wud prob have showed up in bloods.
I get dizzy standing up sometimes-its called postural hypotension-literally-your blood pressure gets low when your body stands up. I never had low blood pressure in my life. This is a recent thing. My doc said that it often happens when I eat-my brain sends energy to stomach to eat and then if a stand up the blood hasn't got back to my brain in time-hence dizzy. Nothing I can do unless it gets worse.
So it could be something as simple as these but if its your ears-you really have to check it out as ears=balance etc. :)

Anyway hon, good luck with WI tomoro. Im sure it wont be as bad as you think! :)

Good Luck for WI Emma! X

When my GP measured it she said it was perfectly normal.
Which I found a little strange as I knew my gym instructor had said it was in the normal range, but on the low side.
But I don't know what it was when the GP measured and I don't understand BP stats anyway even if I had seen what the numbers said so wouldn't have been able to say if it was low of not.
I don't remember feeling stressed.
Seemed ok as far as I remember =/
Strange.
