Evilpenguin's food diary

Well done on the loss! :) x

Thanks chick!

Been on/off plan this week so havent been keeping food diaries. But I surprisingly lost another 2lbs this week! So now weigh 18st 11.5lbs :D I wasn't too off plan though, just wasn't strict with it.

Today is my first and probably last Saturday off work! And I'm skint despite getting paid yesterday, and my bf is off on his mates stag do, so I have no idea what to do lol. May as well be working ffs!!!

Yay to the loss and hope you found something to do. I finally saw batman last night :-D x

Thanks! I got very drunk on red wine and watched Stir of Echoes lol.

Did you enjoy the film? :D xx

Yeh it was good but realllllly long lol! They were all sold out so I headed in at 7.10 to get a seat for the 7.30 showing and didn't get out the cinema til 10.40!! Still had to get my dinner as well lmao ended up eating it at about half 11 at night mental :-/ x

Lol its a good kind of long film though. We saw it last week, still can't decide if I preferred that one or the second one! Will probably get the DVD when its out and watch all 3 to decide!

Next film I want to see is Ted!! Xx

Ooh yeh I fancy Ted too! My best more got an unlimited cinema card the other week so been going a lot more went to see Magic Mike last night lol x

Cool! Was it any good?

I'm gonna get one of those passes on my next payday, seems like a really good deal. Even if you only see 3 films a month you've saved money! We were getting cheap tickets through my bf's work but theyve stopped doing them now so definitely getting the card :) xx

Yeh you only need to use it twice a month to cover the costs plus because you have it you go way more often as you know it's not an additional expense. Helps to have a friend with one both my bf and best mate have it now so always got someone to go with though sometimes I go myself during the day if I have an early finish and don't feel like going home yet lol!! X

Omfg! Haven't posted because all I've bloody done is work! Jeezo. Off today then back at it tomorrow. Seriously knackered :(

Been on/off plan again. Not sure what I weigh this week because I've been working shifts that mean I miss my weigh in time. I hate weighing too early or too late, 11am is my preferred time but every day I've been at work and would've had to weigh at 8am or freaking 3pm. So I didn't bother. Gonna weigh tomorrow cos I don't start til the afternoon!

We are so skint so haven't bought any fruit or veg, been living off £1 shop cereal bars and frozen chips and ***** basically.

I think I'm gonna continue to eat what I can afford to and get back on SW properly after payday. It's not been too bad really, just haven't kept track of what I've eaten and my shifts are all over the place so eating quick easy frozen stuff instead of real food :(

So to sum up: I'm fed up, skint and living off junk til payday. Argh!!!!

Oh I forgot to say! Despite eating junk I have been able to wear a jacket that didn't fit a couple of months ago, my work uniform trousers now fit (they didn't when I started!) and the size 24 trousers I bought from Evans that were tight are now a perfect fit :)

Think I want to get back on plan now :) Not got much in to eat so will probably go shopping tomorrow to stock up! Will steer clear of the frozen junk aisles :)

EE today!!

Breakfast: coffee (part A)
Lunch: apple slices, coco pops bar (5 syns I think)
Dinner: spaghetti bolognese
Snacks: nothing yet
Total syns: 5

If you get a day off get some cheap plastic tubs and do some batch cooking :) healthy cheap ready meals woohoo! X

A day off?? What's that??

Seriously, I am fed up! Trying to get back on plan but have lost the will to live.

Nice to see you are still about. Ach it'll all click at somepoint again check.

Maybe calorie counting or something like that would be easier for now as don't need to worry about healthy extras and syns etc can just eat whatever you fancy up to your limit. The myfitnesspal app makes it super easy! X

I hope it does click again cos I don't want to put anything back on! I weighed today and was 18st 12.5lbs, so since 28th July I've gained a pound. Not bad but I kick myself thinking I could've had 3lbs off in that time at least!

I want to try something else, I was considering WW SF but I didn't realise that was a success express sort of plan, don't want to deprive myself!! Calorie counting could be the way to go but I never measure anything so it'd be guess work!

Jeez, even if I just download the app and try it at least I'm doing something eh?

I'm just so fed up. I do nothing but eat, work and sleep! Looking forward to uni starting so I have a routine again. Work is all over the place, its so frustrating. I'm not even guaranteed a break on some shifts so end up coming home starving and its so easy to eat without thinking about the syns! Told myself I was back on plan the other day then ate a bloody donut without realising!

I dunno wtf is wrong with me. I think my body & brain are so used to a 9-5 routine that these random shifts have just worn me down. Honestly want to cry right now thinking about it! I'm such a wimp!!

Right, I probably won't be 100% on plan for the foreseeable future, til payday at least. When I get paid I might just buy some healthy recipe books and try something like that. You know, no counting syns or healthy extras, jusy eating 3 healthy meals a day and snack on fruit & low calorie snacks like I do anyway!! Sounds nice actually, quite looking forward to it!

What do you mean by simply filling being like success express?? :-/ it's not a short term thing.

You can do it every single day or just do days of it whenever you fancy. It's not anything drastic like success express its just instead of having daily allowance of points that day you eat freely from the list of free foods and just point anything else from your 49weeklies.

Theres a simply filling forum in the ww section on here if you want to see the free list/ what people eat on it. I have also just started back on my old diary rather than my simply filling diary but I'm still on it. X

That's a great achievement.

How about green days and using cheap frozen veg, value pasta and rice etc. You can make about 10 portions of Quorn bologneise for about £4 with frozen pepper frozen sliced mushrooms and value tins of chopped toms. Chilli powder and value kidney beans means chilli transformation. Freeze as ready meals.

You are going great and still thinking about food choices. You can do this.

It is hard but it is worth it. I started at a size 28 trousers and size 16's feel amazing and it slowly slips down just keep believing. Xxx

I tried to pm you to ask about it but your mailbox was full so it didn't let me! The info I got from Google said that SF was like a plan to use for a boost :S and it said you got no points and could only eat 0pp foods! Thats what put me off so if thats wrong I'm interested in trying it :)

Are you on SF every day? If so I will read thru your food diaries for inspiration! Xxx

Thanks hun. We are buying all the value stuff & having dinners like spag bol and chilli. I bought quorn chicken pieces to chuck thru risottos cos we eat that a lot. Its just some nights its easier to chuck a pizza in the oven :(

Then days like today for example, worked from lunch til 5, had eaten a cocopops cereal bar before leaving and took another with me and a couple of satsumas for break, but I didn't get a break so those are still sat in my bag and instead I've eaten a scotch pie and a mini choco donut thing!!! Ffs! :( But dinner is carbonara which is slimming friendly! So I started with good intentions but ruined it.

I dunno if I'm finding it hard because I'm so down just now, or if I'm subconsciously trying to cheer myself up with bad food :(
