Extra Easy Online - attempting to maintain!

Thanks hun I'll try that. I always have that for breakfast just because I absolutely love it but maybe I'll have toast as well or pour some muesli or granola on top. Mmm that sounds really good actually!

Do you feel well? I'd say health is the most important and yes fill up on good stuff like full fat unprocessed dairy and med style stuff with olives, olive oil, sun dried toms and good quality cheese :)

I am quite tired at the moment but I think that's mainly down to inactivity rather than diet. I think maybe I just need to have more syns in my meals rather than snacking on high syn/high calorie foods. Olives/sundried tomatoes/cheese is basically my food porn so I'll be taking that advice lol! :) I also need to stop being scared of olive oil and maybe try to reintroduce it back into my cooking. I'm literally terrified of using it again as it's one of the main things you cut out of your diet when starting on SW. It's ridiculous as it's not a bad thing to have in your diet at all! I'm thinking about using it to cook my veg for the chilli tonight and I'm actually feeling nervous - now that is ridiculous!!!

I love olive oil, especially basil and garlic infused. There's a lot to be said for a med style eating and so much better than using cals on crisps, choc and sweets etc.

My prob is cheese and wine ;-)

A happy medium is this oil spray it's really good! It's proper oil but sprays rather than pours so you do use a lot less 7squirts is 1/2 syn you can get a dressing one too which is nice for salads

Granola sounds amazing!!! I love that stuff and miss it! Def a good way to add some reasonable healthy cals! Xx

I agree with everyone. Your food sounds great but maybe fill up on carbs such as having pasta for lunch or in morning having toast or granola with your fruit and yoghurt! My God what a strange position to be in when it took such hard work to get to target. I suppose the main thing to remember is that technically you have a new body now with different needs and requirements so it might just take some messing about to see what works. When you are maintaining don't you get more healthy extras? X

I don't really know what the "rules" are as I don't go to group and in the forums it's mainly speculation. I'll do some more research and see where that gets me but everyone seems to be different.

I managed to boost up my calorie intake for yesterday to 1717 but that was with biscuits so I'm going to try to do it in a healthier way today.

How is your week going generally? I think you did the right thing with your job xx

Oh leaving my job wasn't so much a choice as a necessity. The place was a disaster in so many ways. Huge eye-opener and learning-curve for me though. I will take a lot of lessons from it and it has spurred me to go on and do what I really want to do which is to be an English teacher in a secondary school. My Masters is in Drama so working in a school will be a great platform to use that too!

Crazy, but I have a meeting with my old boss tomorrow. It feels very surreal! I have no idea how it will go but my plan is to be very honest. The teaching course I am starting in October will only really affect my work situation this time next year. That's ages away. So perhaps he'll take me on for a year! Who knows! I am being hopeful and realistic. Hopefully he will offer me something and at a decent rate so I can afford to do all I wish to do this year with the course etc. Course is 10,000!

How's the job hunt going?

x

Sounds like you've got a good plan! Good luck with your boss - is he your boss from the sales role or a previous one?

I think I'm going to calorie count for a while whilst I readjust my diet but I'm still being really bad at boosting my calorie intake in meals and I've resorted to a KitKat chunky this evening to get it up. I've also decided to start taking vitamins as I'm really not getting enough Iron. I have a Holland & Barrett Hair Nails and Skin supplement which I bought ages ago when I was suffering with brittle nails. My hair is in a horrendous condition since going traveling as I didn't get it cut for ages so I have tons of split ends so hopefully that will help too. I'm only going to take them until they run out and then I'll try something with a bit less Vitamin A as there is quite a lot in this supplement. Does anyone else take vitamins? I'm actually a bit nervous about them as I don't want to overdose on the wrong thing. I'm also hoping that by taking the supplements I won't feel as tired as I have been lately. I did a bit of research and one that is recommended is One-A-Day Women's as it doesn't contain a high level of vitamin A so I might try that once I've used the Holland & Barrett vitamins up. I'm also going to switch back to semi-skimmed milk and seeded bread.

Yesterdays food sounds amazing!

Well I've certainly made up for my previous lack of calories this weekend lol! My parents came to stay this weekend to see the house for the first time and to spend Mothers Day with us. We had a lovely meal out at a Chinese restaurant where I had yummy dimsum and chicken in oyster sauce then we went out for some drinks. Today I decided to cook and we had a Mediterranean Mezze for starters, Roast beef with all the trimmings (and none of them done the healthy way), followed by a chocolate cheesecake brownie which didn't end up looking much at all like a brownie but it tasted good at least. I sent the remains off home with them so at least that's out of the fridge! Here's a couple of pics - one of the starter and one of my parents about to tuck into their roast. I didn't take any of the pud.

Haha I thought you'd approve! I'm an eating machine today. Just had 2 more slices of the Mediterranean bread with rf houmous and nibbley bits and some cadbury buttons. What a pig lol. Back to a more controlled intake tomorrow I think!

Looks lovely! X

Add some tyrells sour cream & jalapeno popcorn to today. I'm not even hungry!!!
