Total Solution Fat, Sick and Nearly Blind!

Been to GP and weighed in. Like I expected from my home scales i'm 10.5kg lighter than when I received my diagnosis last September. Despite this he proceeding to tell me about how easy it is for someone my age to drop weight. Simply go for a walk after each meal.... patronising much. Not once did he acknowledge that Ive actually lost near 2 stone nor did he ask how Ive achieved it (through diet and exercise!)... guess Im having a mini rant over the sheer levels of patronisation that I was faced with (would be easier to swallow if he wasn't visibly overweight himself!)... Oh well.

So pat on the back to myself today. Reminder of how far I've came since last year, and just a marker of where Im going :)

Really feeling this blooming cold! Have been living like an ice cube for days haha. As part of my work from home I manage a small business online etc, owner wants to meet me tomorrow and usually buys lunch.... specifically asked him can we make it a coffee place tomorrow because I cant cope with him offering me food on his tab hahaha. Luckily he agreed!!! There a gorgeous coffee place not far from where I live, small, independant. Only ever had the lattes with syrup but they are out of this world. I might explore the black coffee tomorrow :) I should taste the difference!

As a side note... when are people going to notice i'm skrinking!!!! hahaha x
GPS can be extremely patronising. They often seem to forget they are talking to actual people and not some case study. You have done extremely well and you will continue to do so. Keep going. I hope your little one is better soon.

They are indeed. Especially when you’re seeing a different GP every time you go :( so stressful.

Ahh thank you. She’s up super early so can feel a day in the blankets coming on 😫 x

That's right at our gp if you want a certain dr you can wait weeks. Show them what you are made of!!!! Next time they might just have to notice. They can't NOT, at a stone a month surely lol.
Was she up ill in the night or was it one off?

No she wasnt up thankfully. I think her dinner just disagreed with her tbh. I hopped on scales this morning to check and looks like im going to have a slow week 2. Plodding on though for sure cause if this doesnt take the weight off no other diet will!

Lol that's what happens when dad's cook
😂
It will come off, it's got to. There's noway that you won't on such low cals. Did you do measurement? Inches come off when lb don't.wish I'd measured. I think I'm going to lose 3lb this week. I'd like more but after last weeks astronomical loss I shouldn't expect lots. It would be nice though.
Just keep swimming we both want 100% until April!!

100% until May!! hahaha. Dont excite me! No i never took measurements. Never even weighed in until about day 4 if i remember rightly :/ Dont know why. Im trusting the process. I usually have steady losses between 2-4 a week from past experience (with much less to lose!) but this is the first time ive been taking medication at the same time. My condition basically means that when our body rejuvenates spinal fluid every 24 hours, mine doesnt break it down and release it so I have a huge build up of pressure in my heads :( I know that some fluctuations will 100% be down to this and meds as sometimes I have days when I wake up and my neck is full of fluid :/ The consultant things weight loss will bring remission but Im a researcher and read into hours and hours of it and dont think Im one of these lucky cases. Have to do it to show them though at least haha.

Saw that week 2 can be a notoriously low loss so will be making judgements when I eventually get to week 3 haha. Beginning of week went really fast but feels like its slowing down now. Going to head out for a black coffee this afternoon I think x

Well done you and yaboo to your crappy GP! I used to measure myself religiously for years and s stone used to equate at about two inches for me (each off bust ,waist, hips). I measured myself at the start but haven’t since. This diet is feeling like normal routine now. Week 2 and 3 were slow for me. Get through and a stone a month is doable. Stay toasty. I hated bkack coffee initially but after a couple of weeks now prefer it.

Lol may!!!! April will be my first birthday then the second is May.. Might try have just chicken breast on those meals if I can.

Fingers crossed weight loss will bring you the remission. You might retain a bit more water but if its coming off its helping in done form.
I'm on a lot of pain killers that cause weight gain as a side effect. I told my gp last year it was getting me down. He suggested swimming. Like I'm going in a pool looking like this with my crumpet legs. Nope. I'll give that a miss for a while lol even then I'll have a swim skirt on.

Yes, stone a month is totally doable. With hormone fluctuations too sone weeks will be better than others. What doesn't come off one week often suddenly goes the next. I forgot to do my measurements this time.

ahh thats reassuring whizaway! I will keep plodding and see how my body treats me. Its not officially my "week" until Sunday so I might get a shock loss :)

I think I am a weirdo Ive always drank black coffee! I only have one for breakfast really to help me alert then I dont bother too much because im sooo caffeine sensitive! Sipping this delicious bottle of freeding cold H20...

They are honestly in their own little clinical bubbles! I personally don't mind swimming (but irritates me drying my hair out!) but this was suggested to my mum and she doesnt even take her coat off in public!!!

Ive been drinking black coffee since 2008 when I started cwp. I haven't had sugar in my drinks since I was ten. Lol when my dad did cwp and stopped. I've been a bit slack on the water today. Need to up my game. Snows starting to come down just in time for nursery run. Snow boots out ready to tone ankles :banana_dancer:

If it is any consolation, nobody has noticed my weight loss either :classic_roll_eyes:
I wonder when others will. It will be interesting to see when each of us get the you've lost weight comments and how much we had to lose. If we were on another diet it would take months to lose just a stone. Lol would take forever for anyone to see a change.

I think the last time it was when I’d lost about 4 stone!!! :classic_roll_eyes:

Yea exactly! Last time i got to 14s 3 and everyone started saying "oh youve lost enough now stop dieting you look healthy" shush. People judgements are sooo wrong haha.

I've put myself in to hibernation until another couple of weeks so they HAVE to notice by then...
