Morning guys n gals...
How are you all doing? Any nice plans for the weekend?

Well.. i've decided to change my WeighDay (yes again) to Friday... I think its a better day as sometimes on a Friday I like to have a wee drink to chill after the weeks working and with weigh day being Saturday it kinda ruins it for me..
Also, I've decided to stop deducting that 2lbs to match the WW scales so I dont make another silly mistake like last week.. So, on the scales this morning its 176.2... So this will be what I add or deduct from next week :D
Hope that all makes sense and doesnt confuse the hell out of people like last week.. lol..
Also I've decided to get back on the WW wagon but need to wait til I can afford to shop and that won't be til Wednesday, so it'll be cal counting for this week and then back to WW next Friday...
 
I'm not a stalker I swear but I might be following you on this. I'm thinking a change back to WW is on order too - I seem to ear more junk on CC because I'm not much of a fruit eater really. On PP it kinda encouraged me to eat fruit. Hmm. I might do the Friday weigh in too. My parents love to have their Friday night curry & I love it too (its homemade so not as naughty but still around 700cals for a portion with rice & wedges altogether :eek:).
I think having it the night before weigh in is a bit disastrous... I wouldn't feel so guilty if it was the night of weigh in. I'll see I suppose?! X

Yea I think that'd be really good for you chic... At least then you wouldn't be feeling deprived of it and you have the WHOLE week to burn it off...
I feel the same about cal counting.. I'm not as focused on eating healthy and I think we can all agree I've been eating more crisps n chocolate n goodies than ever in the last few weeks...
I've not gained on it but I've not lost either.. So I think if I EVER get to goal... cal counting will be the way to maintain... But for now while I have so much to lose I think I need to get back to WW...

Yeah, I'd still point it (I think it works out as about 16 or 17pp) but I think I weigh a bit heavy after eating a big dinner the night before... I'll weigh tomorrow and see if it makes a difference lol!
I'm the same. Weighed there now and I'm still 11st 3 even though MFP says I should be losing with what I'm eating. Too much junk & I know that's part of the problem. WW kinda staved me off most high pointed junk because I would say "F it, I'll have some grapes or a banana" for free instead! So I think I'll go back to 29pp a day for a week. If that keeps me the same, I'll reduce to 28pp etc. etc.

Yea it tells me the same.. But as its only a software it can only just by the cal intake.. Not by how the body can break these things down.. I have been eating 1420 cals per day to give a "recommended" loss of 1lb per week.. But haven't lost a thing... So for this week am going target 1200 and see if it makes a difference.. Then from next week I'm gona go back to WW.. Was thinking of trying slimming world but I think I'll stick to WW.. Its what I know and it works for me when i do it properly..

Yup I was eating between 1340 and 1550-ish which was supposed to give half a lb to a lb loss each week. I'm not sure I could do SW as I'm a terrible double-size-portion eater lol. WW does work for me when I do it right like you say... So I'm thinking I'll do the switch tomorrow for a week & see how I go! It's gotten me this far... Think I needed a break from it though. At least we didn't put on any weight!! :) xx

Exactly.. So we know when we get where we want to be we can maintain on MFP.. But for now.... We'll stick with what we know works :D
Re: portion sizes etc I'm the very same.. So even when I was doing SF I was weighing out pasta, rice and potatoes.. And I know no matter what "diet" I am following i'll always have to do that same...

Yeah I've a bottomless pit stomach when it comes to pasta and things like that. My mum was always complaining that I was obsessed because I was weighing everything. Now she's become way too obsessed with her diet. She jogs about 6 days of the week & is only eating about 1000 cals a day (she eats the same thing everyday for brekkie & lunch). I think it's these weddings she wants to look good for. But honestly I'm sick of watching her try on a million dresses, I'm her personal taxi to the shops at the mo cuz she doesn't drive lol! Seriously... A zillion dresses and she then says "I think I'll wait a while" ugh lol. Plus I feel like an elephant beside her and my sister... Evils!
Back to WW I go :) Need to be slimmer this summer hehe!

Ooh.. 1000 is too low... For anyone!! Minimum recommended is 1200 and that's without exercise.. But sure.. there's not telling Mammy's!!!!
Fair to play to her for that running... Another one to put me to shame!!! (Laura's MIL was the other...)

I keep telling her she doesn't eat enough. She freaks out if she even touchs a piece of chocolate now. Mental. Can't talk to her though lol x

Ha thanks Carly hun. It is exciting. Been to ikea today n got lotz more borin essentials but had fun... I kno. I'm sad...

U seem to b back on form n doin great. Well done

I know I'm loving it.. But when I say I am excited while buying toilet brushes n washing baskets... its sounds a bit sad... lol

We have almost all the essentials at this stage.. Still a few bit needed but not too much.. We need pots..But Jonathan wants to leave them for his Mam or sister to buy.. I'm kinda fretting about that as I'm a bit particular about what I want n like.. But hey ho.. I think most other things that we need are more luxuries, not essentials...

Oh I was awake too till about 2am but that's suddenly become the norm. I'm gonna be wrecked when I get back to work. Are ya tired this morning hon? X
