From here to Slimfinity!!! - Team 6

hiya both!!!

Feeling so much better - think im back to normal...now im using my WII for weighing and its usually good...appears i've lost 4 lbs this week!!! So happy - albeit a pound shy of goal for the challenge!

Time to set a new one...im now in the 10's (still cant believe it) this is making me want to adjust goal and get my BMI down further - will see i get on.

CDC still on her jollies - fingers crossed its another good week. Roll on SS-September!!!

enjoy

Anni, well done on losing another 4lbs. :winner:

Not done anything very exciting this
weekend. Still been going out walking as much as possible.
No plans for the bank holiday tomorrow - our schools are on (the new term just started 2 weeks ago). Our office is closed, but my husband has brought work home for me to do (l work for him!) I might make a start on it later tonight.

I've set myself the challenge of losing another 10lbs in September which would take me to 136lbs/9st 10lbs (7lbs from goal weight)

Hope you are both having a good week. My computer access is limited at the moment as my own pc isn't working & am using my husband's laptop when he's not needing it for work in the evening.

Morning girls ;-)

Hope you are both well.... Im dreading going out today as it is like a monsoon out there - and i have to take kids to school/nursery!!

been a quiet week - work been rotten and stressful i almost caved last night to something 'bad' to make my mood improve - but knew it wouldnt have made me feel any better!

Cant wait til tomorrow - heading to the hairdressers!!! EEEKK!!! My hair is soooooooooooooooo bad since starting CD, really dry and extremely thin, so hoping a cut will thicken it and make an improvement.:eek::eek::eek:

Have a wonderful day.

Hey Disney, Hope your computer situation sorts itself out asap.

Hi Quizz, thanks for asking - yes l'm really looking forward to the ball especially as we are staying overnight at the hotel where it's being held. It looks really nice & relaxing: http://www.marhall.com/

We went to the ball last year as well & l enjoyed it, but l'm hoping l'll enjoy it more this year with me being slimmer & less self conscious of my weight.
I tried on my dress again on Friday & it looks great, it's even a little bit loose. It's very unlikely (ie just about no chance) l'll reach my target of losing another 7lb by the ball, l weighed myself this morning & l've still sts. :( Hopefully l'll show some sort of loss this week.

hi girls

Not long til the ball - whats your dress like Disney??? Im sure you will be brimming with confidence and looking stunning.

I weighed myself this morning and looks likie a STS week - got pmt methinks, so im blaming that! One week til CDC comes home - better work harder next week.

Not done much this weekend as ive been working (both days - just a few hours today) but i get tomorrow off!! YEAH! Not got plans apart from dyeing my hair. I got it cut and its looks so much better ;-)

Keep up the good work

Hi Anni, the colour of my outfit for the ball is greenish-blue (think it's called sea breeze or sea green, something like that), it's full length, the material is chiffon-like with small sequins, l've got beaded sandals & a small sequined bag to go with it. My husband will be wearing his kilt which is in Campbell tartan, which has green & blue in it.

OOh sounds gorgeous - kinda like the colour of nail polish i put on my toenails tonight!!! LOL Im off out for a friends surprise 30th on 19th and still looking for a sparkly fancy top - ideally that bluey/green colour or in a lovely purple (my favourite colour)

OOh whats the menu like??? mmmmmmmmm

My work moved to new premises in April and everyone's annual leave was suspended for a while - we are now playing catch-up, which means covering holidays and working a wee bit more ;-( Double time on a sunday though!!! lol

Im just having a wee think about my 'goal' weight.... i need to lose 12lbs to get to my original goal of 10st! However my CDC wants me to get to 9st to ensure my BMI is in a more comfortable zone. Its the thought of adjusting it now to read all those extra pounds... will it encourage or de-motivate one??? hmmmmmmmmm wot to do. Or, do i achieve my own goal first of 10st and then set up the other if/when i get there??

anyway - off to make a nice coffee (ate all packs today so nothing other than water for me)

Anni, l'm not sure what's on the menu. We are going as guests of a client of my husband's, so we didn't need to book or anything. Here's the link to where it's being held http://www.marhall.com/ There's some sample menus on there under dining. The food probably won't be on the low-cal/low carb side, but l'll be back to CD the next day.

Anni, a blue/green or purple sparkly top sounds lovely. You'll look fab. It's great being able to buy things in a smaller size. At the moment l'm a size 14, ideally would like to be a 12.

re change of goal weight - why not get to your original target of 10st first (not far to go! :happy096:), then once you get there aim for the lower weight your CDC is suggesting. What BMI would that take you to? What height are you?

I had better get moving & go out my walk now before it gets dark. Hope you & Quizz have a good Sunday evening. I'm looking forward to my CD chocolate tetra drink when l get back.

GRRRRRRRR... +1lb this week :-( I need my CDC back from her jollies to keep me on track. Today has been a success though, Im trying extra specially hard this week.

Just made the kids and hubby burgers and waffles and salad,.mmmmmmmmmm was so tempted

So far this month l've walked/jogged (mainly walked!) 58 miles. Also doing toning exercises & going on the exercise bike some days The lbs are slow in coming off now, but l'm certainly getting fitter. I never thought l said say this but l LOVE exercising.

Quizz & Anni, hope you've both had a good week. Quizz how's the new kitchen going?

Well done Disney! I really need to get back into my exercise too.

having a terrible time just now financially - ive started 810 and plan on moving up the plans over next 2-4 weeks.... money has become tight and im finding it difficult to justify the £150 a month for CD whilst paying childcare n other expenses. DH is already on WW so it will be my next step.

I have always known i could afford CD up until end of July/August so glad the majority of my weight has gone - my options were to SS until end of this month then just stop and try and eat healthily - or quickly move up to maintenance and stability before the end of the month albeit 1 week at a time on each step ;-(( it was the lesser of 2 evils and i was less likely to slip. So, next week im planning on 1000. I obviously wont make the challenge for the end of the month, but hoping the last 3 weeks on CD will help me lose a lb or 2 of my 13lbs as i can. Im hoping to restart in 3 months if the money situ improves (although hoping ive been able to maintain and/or lose by then and not have to)

Thanks so much guys. ;-)

I will still be around although losing so much slower than everyone else. Please feel free to find a new team member if its what you need for weekly challenges

Anni
