From here to Slimfinity!!! - Team 6

3lb loss for me - yay! I've been finding CD hard going recently, especially when l had the cold, so glad that persevering has shown a result. My BMI is now at 25, but l'm staying on SS next week as the following week l'll be dining out some of the time when we're away for a few days during our October school holidays - staying in a log cabin, near Callander, can't wait!

Quizz, hope you are doing well on SS.

Anni, hope you are feeling better.

Hope you are both having a good weekend. It's raining here and blowing a gale. I usually walk to Tesco (about 30mins away) on a Saturday morning, then my husband & the kids meet me with the car to take the shopping home, but today with the weather being so bad we are all going, think l'll send them off to the instore coffee shop while l get the shopping done in peace. :)

Hi Wobbly71, Welcome to Team 26. :) It will be great to have you as part of the team. Good luck reaching your goals.

Hiya everyone

thanks for letting me join you.

How many are on the team?

I am 38 married with one daughter aged 15.

Tried every diet going and have tried VLCD diets in the past. This time I am gonna see it through to the end!

Looking forward to 'meeting' you all.

Hi Wobbly!!

Welcome.

There are now 4 of us on the team :-( So many have come and gone, but the girls are great!

Im Anni, im married with 2 little girls and have been in CD-land for 9 months now. I am just about to pop into the land of WW though...ive posted a short story on the main thread.

Hope im still welcome Quizz n Dis!!!

im feeling better...but my doc has informed me that i have low blood pressure and anaemia! So wants me to jump up the steps to at least 1000. Im using what i have left of the CD products which should be 2 weeks worth...then i will shift to WW in the hope i lose my last 14 lbs. Im going to be in training for my half marathon next spring - so more calories is probably the way to go - as i have been feeling faint whilst on the treadmill of late.

Anyway... hope you guys are well. im off to have a coffee and see what i can eat for dinner!! Eek, choice!

Hi again, good luck with Cambridge. I think Cambridge is great (hard sometimes, but great all the same).

I live in Ayrshire, Scotland. Married with a daughter age 13 & son age 6. I'm 42 (43 next month - hoping to reach my goal weight by my birthday).

Anni, glad you are feeling better. Hope the low blood pressure & anaemia improve for you soon. Really impressed you're going to do a half marathon. Next year l'm hoping to take part in the local Race for Life, think that'll only be 5km, but it's a start.

Hope im still welcome Quizz n Dis!!!

Very glad to have you still with us. :)

When l get to my goal weight l'd still like to post on this team thread if that's ok, even if l'm not part of the official team re the weekly team weight loss challenge. You'll have to throw me overboard to get rid of me. :D

Hiya everyone

I will have to read throiugh the post from the begining when i get chance to get to know you all.

I have been to see CDC and I have lost 3 pounds this week, they are different scales because last week was lighterlife but will take it as them being the same.

Speak later when I catch up.

Wobbly, well done on losing 3lbs, that's great. How are you liking being on CD?

I haven't had a pack yet, try and wait till lunchtime if I can. I have done it before so I know I luurrrvvvv the choc mint and the banana. I have got the bars but haven't tried any of the cambridge before, never stuck to it for that long lol x x

Longest l had ever stuck to dieting before was 3 weeks (dieting on my own). I've been on CD for 7 months now, if l'd been strictly sole source all along l'd probably have reached my goal weight a couple of months ago - have taken the scenic route ;) due to holidays, family celebrations etc . No regrets though l don't think l could have stuck to it any other way.
