Just remember Sassy, I cannot and will not be labelled:p

I just have one teeeeeeeeeny request, if you are!

Ooooh what ? Do share with us please ;) !!!!

If he can't get, I might be able to ? but I don't have much free time so it might depend where we go.

I'm all packed but freaking out because I cannot locate my favoured yellow shorts! - silly, I know, but annoying the hell out of me.

Of more concern is the packing of the electronics/gadgets. Apparently they cannot go in the hold but have to be in the hand lugage!

Re: being labelled, I don't think you have much choice !!

And whether you are here for our gratification and amusement..........again, I don't think you have much choice there. If you can't stand the heat, get put of the kitchen :p

Re: yellow shorts............phew.......;)

Re: electronic gadgets - definitely don't put in luggage otherwise you'll never see them again. Are you taking laptop and iPad or just one ?

Safe travels :)

Hello, World.
I didn't mean to be AWOL, but I was first signal-less and then hyper-busy.

If I don't speak to you before, Steve, have a great time in Florida.
Incidentally, will you be going shopping at all?

Speak to you later, mate. I need a name for you to go with the Sassy. Not sure what, though. I'm thinking about it.
I might, but after last week's shenanigans, Anne Summers is out Sassy!;)

noooooooooooooo not the yellow shorts :eek::eek:

:8855:

Hey, they're "de rigeur" in Tynside:cool:

They've dragged (or is it drugged?) you down to their level Gail! I guess it was inevitable really.

Oh you know, the usual, Ipad, Iphone, Ipod, laptop, camera, GPS, - I was going to take Ipad or laptop but laptop needed as Ipad doesn't support flash (not what you're thinking or hoping Dawn, Lou:p;)) and Ipad has no USB port or card reader to store/download photographs.

ext time I book a villa it ll have a PC and not just wifi!

Have a great holiday :-D

Aha - my new favourite lady. A touch of continental class from "The Swiss Miss" I also get to talk about the rest of you whilst practicing my German! - bonus;)

Managed to nearly stay on Plan tonight! I had a cheddar and broccoli soup (White bread & butter) followed by a healthy;) steak and ale pie with creamy mash (no chips then) followed by a ice cream medley (from the healthy range:8855:) - a choice of three flavours and I couldn't decide which one so the inevitable happened!!

Well, holiday started once I left home!

So that'll be a flexi day then:)

I was very good though as stuck with diet coke. I do take thus seriously as you all know:cool:

Start as you mean to go on.......that's what I say ;) :D

Sounds fabulous! Have a great holiday x. PS you know you're gonna love the challenge of losing any gained weight when you get back anyway!

Just read your post on Gail's diary but didn't want to hijack hers so just wanted to say.........

How  for you to be in Florida only to find it hissing down with rain :8855:It is sunny and warm in the UK and going to be 23c tomorrow.........tee hee.

Bummer about the salad situation too.......you must be gutted :D

Have a lovely break and lets hope that the colour of your skin is because you have got a nice tan and not because of rust :8855:xx

So true Lou!

I keep posting on Gal's diary instead of mine, some well dodgy karma going on there.

Today is forecast more rain - heavy to but with temoeratures in the 90-91 range! - go figure!! (talking like them already!)

I am in danger of getting rusty! - awful trying to plan stuff. Might keep the parks quiet though. Going to have to go out AS HAVE BOUGHT TOO MANY TICKETS NOT TOO:eek:

The new diet is going well. My new 5-a-day consists of Pizza, fried shrimps (a sort of red day with batter/fried) fries, ice cream and bread products.

I did buy some salad produce to decorate the fridge though;)

According to the locals, all holiday food has immunity and because of the 5 hour time difference and exchange rate the calorific value is negligible.

No wonder Floridians all look so healthy:eek:

Have nice day - i'm off to get rusty!

Soggy Steve

I know that Floridian is the correct term for people from Florida.
It's just that whenever I read it I get a mental image of something kind of reptilian.

I'm sorry. I just can't fight it any more.
Steve's turned into a lizard.

Sorry, Serpentine Steve!

I always thought he was a bit of a ssssssssnake

Sorry, Lou, was that "he's a bit of a snake", or "a bit of him is a snake".

Oops. I think I've just descended to your level!

Hello all:)

22.15 here Friday night. So 3.15 in the morning back home (good maths skills there). What a stop-start time it has been.

I'm feeling quite lethargic. Very tired, foot sore, levy-legged and not even done any walking!

The whole weather is all over the place. Today I went to Magic Kingdom - always a buzz to see the Cinderella's Castle, but spoilt somewhat by building work - the crane on top is not very magical at all. It was forecast showers so I wore jeans and planned to hide when the heavy rains came - except they never! - suffice to say it was sweltering in he Magic Kingdom and I was most uncomfortable. so escaped early, got back to villa and got sorted out for sunbathing - all nicely oiled up (no pics Dawn, Lou - sorry;)). Within 20 minutes it was deluge time!

Fuming I was!

Wish it would either rain or shine so I can make plans. As yet nothing planned. Weekends are spent away from the parks anyway as too busy. Will go and meet friends coming out on Tuesday (party at the villa lol). then go and see Harry Potter at Universal Studios is a must. Jacksonville and my NFL (American football) trip next Sunday (2nd Oct) not very relaxing at all next year I'm choosing relaxing holidays!!

Already after just 2 days i'm fed up with the food! - never thought i'd say this but missing my Ryvita and Laughing Cow!! - hell even the salad. So much so I'm having a Spinach Dijon Salad tomorrow (I saw it in Publix and thought of Sarah!) - I also saw a selection of tarts (I thought of Dawn and Lou;))

As I feared, despite being awake for over 26 hours I awoke at 4.15 local time after just 3-4 hours sleep! Can you believe I had finished breakfast and shooting some pool by 5am! - that's jet lag for you:eek:

See what tomorrow brings. hopefully a lie in until 6am local time though I am used to 6am UK time - that's what causes the problem. I had planned a nap on the sun lounger until the rain came. Of course a my age as you all know I need an afternoon nap.

New or rarely tried foods today included Dill, Whiting (I'm a Cod-only bloke at home) & clams. I try to have something unusual or new just for fun. Looking forward to trying Snow Crab etc. Saturday should include a visit to Walmart. Might just go mad in there:cool:

Have a good weekend all.
