From Maximus to Minimus - coming soon!

Who's a clever boy then??? Very impressive I must say. Jolly well done old boy :D

P.S. Don't mention football right??? It could get messy :( x

Enough of the old thank you very much Lorrayne:p

I'm new but just had a read through. Big well done, and you're so close.

I am pretty close and its starting to get frustrating. I have a feeling I won't be happy even when I am done though. Tempted to stick anothher 14lbs onto my target.

Keep it up!

x

Welcome to you Becca:cool:

Oh losing weight I find easy! maintaining and deciding on a target is almost impossible:confused:

I'm sure you'll get there. I am sure I will too - staying there is another matter!

I've reached target previously at 11st 5lb and then 10st 12lb and that is where I am now. I have not yet officially reset my weight to 10st 5lb with SW as it means I will need to start paying again lol.

I'm not au fait (that's French that is) with Dukan (Du Kannst - that's German that is) but with SW when you reach target group is free and no subs. You have to remain no more than plus or minus 3lb or start paying again resetting your target in the process!

If I drop below 10st 9lb then I will reduce target - possibly to 10st 5lb (the obsession with 10st 5lb is to lose exactly 100lb and join the century club).

Another thing I lost today was a day's work! manflu got the better of me and I decided not to risk the dodgy and un-even aircon at work to preserve myself for my 3 day walking trip tomorrow:cool:

Sorry, will try not to do that again ;)

I really must get my brain/eyes tested....I read that as un-even erection  :8855:I told you I wasn't right :p

I started on SW at the begining then moved onto doing it at home and now onto Dukan. My first target was 13st 9 (which I have totally surpassed). Then I went to 12st 9 (again surpassed), want to get to 11st 9 and then see how I feel will probably (hopefully!) end up at 10st 9. To lose 100lbs I would have to get down to 9st 8, and I think I would be horribly thin then!

I have lost all this weight before (well down to 13st!) and managed to maintain for 6 months or so.

Hope you feel better soon and are man flu free for your weekend of walking

x

Mir Geht es gut! Danke.

Fish and chips and double whiskey this evening shows I can still be easily led astray by non-SW types.

Enjoy! Xx

I did! - a second double whiskey!
Sounds perfect

I was.... TWICE (see above)

In fairness, it was for the beter good! - I sabotaged myself for charity, - specifically for Marie Curie Cancer Care - as they were the nominated recipients of the auction proceeds. I purchased/won a small set comprising hip flask and 2x 50cl bottles of whiskey - I then proceeded to drink them, to erase the memory of the fish & chips meal:cool:

So Fridays walk was approx 6.7 mile which was to blame for the healthy appetite worked up.;)

Saturday morning was a full English (inc. toast, streaky bacon, f/f sausage and probably full milk (technically the 2x Weetabix were a HEXB) - so not too bad really. A further 7.8 mile over the hills and fells saw my new ravenous appetite demolish Seasonal Veg Soup (with freshly baked white bread & butter) a lamb shank with trimmings - inc buttered mash (not a euphenisim Dawn or rhyming slang Lou - apologies everyone else).

The huge trifle that followed was, admittedly just me showing off. This appetite thing is tricky! - fortunately the Gadsby (well I was wearing a suit) the Gin (rude not to) and Fosters (a little bit of Aussie in all of us). Helped wash away most of the syns and hopefully dilute any fats:eek:

Having reached target, I guess I might needs the 3lb leeway this week, but I was a little ahead of schedule to be honest.

I can now report real life mirror minimins. The abuse I get from the lady ramblers is fairly severe too. Perhaps I just deserve it:p?

Anyhow, in all seriousness, we raised several hundred for Marie Curie, had a damn good laugh and in between managed over 23 miles of tough walking - I can also declare it was great to be striding out on the fells in shorts in November. Much to the amusement of the group and the bewilderment of the sheep!

So now 9 days of full-on Maximus, should get me back to where I need to be.

Fortunately, no more jollies planned for 4 weeks:D

Better than sitting in whingeing about Sunderland losing again or the lack of anything to watch on TV!

Thank God you can go back to work tomorrow for a rest :D I'm worn out just reading your diary!!!

Anyway, you like a challenge Stevie don't you. Well, here's one. I am failing big time to start/stick to any kind of plan at the moment, veering from one to the other and failing badly. So I challenge you to be my guru. Set me meal plans and generally kick me up the proverbial like a Drill Sergeant would. Do you think you could do that for a couple of weeks. Every time I try SW I put on weight  and as you are such an expert, perhaps you could do a bit of mentoring with me????

No pressure then :D Don't worry if you [STRIKE]can't be arsed [/STRIKE] don't have time. It was just a thought really. x

Tell you what hunnibunch. Since I'm such a nice lad, and you're being serious and not just messing, send me a PM with all your likes and dislikes (foodwise) preferences (definitely food wise:eek:) fruit, veg etc.

What makes you fail, your biggest no-no etc.

Then I'll turn you into me. I'll devise you a one week plan and as long as you stick to it (TO THE LETTER) we'll guarantee a decent loss. As a reward, Dawn will devise your second week! -

A free consultancy service from Slimbo (that's me - in case you were wondering) and Bimbo ;) - hi Dawn)

Do you accept? lol

You shut up gobby! - the truth will out;)

SO Dearest Dawniepops

You going to do the 2nd part of what I lovingly call. "Lou-Loss - Lorrayne's latest little lithe losing legacy"

I'll soften her up and you go all hardcore in week two.

Could be our new business this Dawnie - a sort of consultancy for those who don't do classes.
