Gaga, my heart truely goes out to you.
Its such difficult circumstances
I think it may be better for your long term health, to forget about Exante, just for the foreseealbe future... whilst you have your op, and then your recovery time.
Personnally, I dont think its worth it to be TS, WS or even SS during this time.
Your body will need recovery time, and calories to help its self heal faster.
I think, trying to still diet during this time will slow your recovery.
Is it possible to postpone your holiday, for a few months, just so you know you are completely well ect ?
Exante will always be here, when you are
back to 100% health.
Sorry I dont have any better advice Gaga... but big hugs xxx
ladygaga said:Thanks Margie- I truly feared this may be the case and best advice. Holiday is booked so we would be away for hubbie's 40th birthday so am really loathed to change dates. If I have too have my lymph nodes removed following this surgery then I won't be able to go but if all is OK then Doc thinks I should have healed in time. Will just mean no sun.
Just gutted to still be soooooo fat! Especially now I have bought all these lovely clothes to wear whih just won't fit. Total waste of money.
Also hate the thought of being in hospital at my size as will no doubt have to be weighed and checked over which does scare me rigid. Need to lose as much as possible pre-op now!!!!!
Really appreciate all the advice. Now time to weigh it all up and decide what to do for best. Have had no carbs since Jan 31st and only foods consumed have been proteins, salad, cheese and of course nutella!!!!
Someone must have some cheery news out there........please?????
If you want cheery news oh bought his wedding suit today (50% off in the sale) he looks hotand I finally lost 3 stone!!

Here's a wee BMR calculator thingy...
Just put in your details, then calculate...
Then you have to go onto the "daily calorie needs" to work out your BMR...
You will probably have to work it out on doing no exercise/sedentary, as you will have to rest post op
