Ooooooooh, I joined MiniMins a year ago today! :bliss:

I have been feeling very, very low these past couple of weeks, not myself at all. But I promise to get back out there on the weekend and start doing this properly again.

Ive LOST it!! I have no idea where its gone but i looked everywhere in the pub for it. Damn wine. It must have come off either while i was walking around or while i was sat down, either way i have over 6000 but its gone! :(:(:(:(:(

Hopefully it will turn up.

Keep up the walking as you are doing so well. If you know the distance in miles you can convert it into steps as it is roughly 2,000 steps to a mile.

Sorry to hear that you've lost the pedometer. You get quite attached to it after a while. Hope you do find it.

My diet is going ok, I just feel like eating things now. Not cr*p, but lettuce etc! So I have started to do AAM 2 weeks early! It was either that or crack, so I have taken the better option I think! I am making stove top rice pudding at the mo. Both my children have really taken to it which I never thought they would. Also I mentioned to one of my patients husbands that is what I would be doing today, and he visably drooled, and said that he couldn't make it (his wife is too ill too cook now), but it was his favourite pudding many years ago, So now I have a double batch cooking so I can deliver it when I visit his wife tomorrow. It could have been worse, It could have been fillet steak! LOL!

It's early, but the steps for today are 7681. I was suprised that I clocked up 1908 at work today! Normally I don't check, but it's good to get an average in case I leave MNBF at home...
 
Yikes - can't believe I forgot to post my Thursday steps! An abysmal 6,041!!!! I didn't bother to go out for lunch. In fact yesterday's steps, I think is my usual activity level because I didn't put any effort in at all, I couldn't even be bothered to walk downstairs to clock in and out, and drove everywhere/parked as near to school as I could, didn't go to the shop or the gym, didn't go out at lunchtime etc...

Oh no Sara I'd be gutted if I lost mine, sounds daft but I'd honestly feel bereft. It's just nice to be able to check on how active you are, if you know what I mean?

LOL! Honestly, I really have to look at other ways I can move myself. I haven't even picked up the beyond chocolate book again. My brain as well as the bod is on a go slow whilst on SS. THey seem to be taking ages building the new gym by me, and I expect I will have to wait for the initial onslaught to disperse before I can get near it! Actually the big swimming baths here have a gym, and I think you can join monthly which will be good. I have to maintain my new leaness won't I? Re brain fog whilst on SS, i heard of a nurse who had to give up work for 6months while she did CD! She couldn't concentrate enough. If that happened my OH would be shoving doughnuts down my neck at record speed!

Sara, let the BF buy you a new pedometer!!

I'm not on a diet, Beyond Chocolate has changed my life. In fact I have lost 3 1/2 pounds in the last week by NOT being on a diet and not even walking much! :eek: There's loads of stuff about intuitive eating on the net if you're interested - a lot of people are interested when they want to maintain.

I did actually go out for a walk today but it was so cold and I didn't feel inspired. Roll on the summer perleease!! :rolleyes:
 
I need a kick up the rear...:whoopass:. Not puit my ped on for the last 2 days and there is absolutely no excuse or reason for not doing!! Just forget before leaving the house:rolleyes:

Today will be different. I have put the Ped on already, clipped here on my dressing gown so we wil see what today's results bring in later :D


Note to self......Put your Pedometer in a very obvious place that you can see each morning!!!!:rolleyes::D
