Hi Folks :)

No Pedometer on this weekend:sigh:..my own fault for forgetting.

Anyhooo....it's sat here on the kitchen counter waiting to be clipped on in the morning. See if I can crack the 4000 mark tommorow as I have a v.busy day in and out of the office:D

Another absysmal day (for me) - 6198 and that was including 30 minutes on the treadmill in the gym!!!!
 
Hi Isis, the other morning I forgot to put mine on and had done loads before realising. I was truly gutted! Of course I had still got the exercise in but I physically wanted to see the steps on my pedometer. :cry: Once you've done that a couple of times you soon stop forgetting!! :D

I didn't step foot outside my front door yesterday. I really needed it as I go out every day and yesterday I felt so tired and a bit depressed. My steps were 3,145 which isn't bad as I didn't think I would do over 2,000.

7717 steps today . Not alot of walking around town really, just tooing and froing up the high st! It mounts up though! Still too hard to dig in the allotment, so I shall have to bring in my mini trampoline that I love, i have to do something!

I see what you mean about only forgetting a couple of times and then no more!!! I was just the same on Saturday when I realised that I didn't have it on me and had been all over town doing last minute errands....grrrr:sigh:

I think it was good for you to take a day's break if you felt so tired and a bit depressed. Sometimes we need to recharge the old batteries don't we hun? I think 3,145 for staying in is excellent!!!!!

4,152 for me today and I am very pleased with that as I set a target of over 4000. A few meetings out of the office and I was very strict with myself and did not take the lift to the 3rd floor this time:rolleyes:

I have already put my Ped on the kitchen side so that it is the first thing I see when I get up tommorow. What I also like about my Ped is that it also told me that today I have walked 2.907 km and burned off 259.5 calories :D:D:D:D:D
 
Blimey - this thread was almost halfway down the page! There must have been an influx of exercise threads!

Yesterday was 8,107.
 
5295 so far. I would have walked much further, but I went out in a tee shirt and a fleece + gloves. Then I walked into the exposed fields to be blasted by a wickedly freezing easterly wind! Even the dog cut across the field to go home, instead of walking around it! LOL! That NEVER happens, so it really was a blaster.

8,796 - I didnt go out for my lunchtime walk yesterday because it was cold out, had snowed, frozen and was slippy.

I;m starting sole-sourcing again today....
 
YO YO I take it youve ss before! Have you got much to lose? Me? I have got another 2st to go. Don't know If I can go that far, even if it is a BMI of 23.6! You do so much excersise, so will you be able to keep it up? I know it takes alot from me just walking the dog if I stretch the pace out a bit. (as much as you can on slippery mud!), and swimming is out of the question. Some of the posters here still do manage it though, so I hope you are one. I had a blip yesterday. I bought some ready cooked chicken pieces so I could have AAM, and I just kept visiting the fridge till it was all gone. I'd never do that normally. I got fat cos I grazed all day on crap, had chocolates/biscuits at work (cos nurses get pressies all the time LOL!) and topped it off with 1/2 a bottle of red each night. Never binged before. Arew you doing CD/LL/w8?

I'm doing Lighter Life. I went between June and September last year and lost 3st 2lbs (from 13st 9lbs to 10st 7lbs) but then since September I have gone back up to 11st 13.6lbs (as of this morning!) so enough is enough. I have about 100 packs that are gonna be past their sell by date between March and June so it's either use them or lose them and I am motivated to do so. I know I definitely wont be able to keep up all the exercise, maybe the walking, but certainly not the cardio equipment in the gym. Even at 10st 7lbs my BMI is still at the top end of 25.
 
My BMI would also be at the top end at that weight too. I'm 5ft 5''. I did LT 18 months ago, but found a lump in my neck and ate through stress, then holiday, then the wait to see consultant etc, so over 4 months i gained 3st back.......Like you said, enough is enough so I pulled myself back into line in time for my brothers wedding in Texas in May. I didn't want to do LT again it was so boring, so I have done CD which is brilliant for taste! At least you have a months supply left. Do you think that you still need the CBT of LL? If not then I can recommend the CD. And its alot cheaper!

6685 steps today. I was carpet cleaning at home, so its not that much. You would not believe the colour of the water.........:sign0137: (shoot that dog!)

Big Birdy - our LL counsellor was appalling and I felt I learnt nothing from her so I wont be going back. However I know the 'diet' aspect (ie eating nowt LOL) works

I have been feeling very, very low these past couple of weeks, not myself at all. But I promise to get back out there on the weekend and start doing this properly again.

Janey, if you're not feeling so good in yourself then don't push it. Wait for a nice sunny day, and go for a walk then, and maybe a coffee en route. If you push yourself to go out on a foul day it won't do much to lift your spirits!

Couldn't post my steps last night but I did make a note before bed so.....:D

Tuesday = 4, 359 :)

Today = 3,827 :)

I'm guessing that the only way to push these figures higher is to get out more at weekends and walk around more with the kids instead of the car :rolleyes:
