getting back to target - one day at a time

Right finally sorted it out in my head haha


Today - Green

Breakfast - porridge made up with water and cinnamon with chopped apple and kiwi (HEB)
Lunch - mixed bean pasta bake (HEA for cheese)
Snack before run - depending on how hungry I am either just a banana or rice pudding with banana and berries
Tea after race - chickpea dhal with salad (again if I'm hungry enough for it)
Snacks - bakewell hifi bar (HEB) milk in drinks (HEA) plum, orange, pear, not sure on syns - hoping not to eat anything at the run but if I do keeping syns free, if I don't eat anything then I will either have a white chocolate lion bar (10.5 syns) or another quarter of my Easter egg (13.5 syns) depending on what I fancy
 
ended up having 12 syns today, mum brought some snickers flapjack to have after the run so had one of them for 8 syns and just had a mini flake for 4 syns :) yum yum


Tomorrow - EE

Breakfast - rice pudding with apple and kiwi
Lunch - mackerel salad
Tea - homemade burgers (boyfriends making them think he's going to try the one's from the new magazine) with chips and fried mushrooms, onions and tomatoes. (HEA and HEB for cheese and bread) might also have a splodge of ketchup and extra light mayo (4 syns)
Snacks - white chocolate lion bar (10.5 syns) plum, syn free pancakes with mixed berries and banana, orange, pear, crabsticks
 
It was horrible, I will do the next one but not looking forward to it :/

Hoping it was just me having an off day rather then the run itself though, it was extremely hilly, a lot steeper then I've ever run before and I felt sick at one point so had to walk some of it. I think I still got a decent time though (around 47 minutes for 5 miles... not sure on exact time but this was the time my mum got and I got in before her) I feel loads better after doing it though, so it has done me some good. :)


Really looking forward to the burgers, we're doing our shop tomorrow just so we can pick bread rolls up for them lol
 
Had some caramel shortbread at work, was lovely.... so that's 9 syns used up already today. Might have mayo and ketchup with my burger for my other syns.... saving loads of fruit so I can snack on them later rather then going for something synful as usual

Lunch - sweet potato jacket with beans, cheese (1/2 HEA) and tuna with pickled onions, gherkins and beetroot
Tea - chicken and mushroom risotto (1/2 HEA)
Snacks - plum, pear, orange, hifi bar (HEB) 1/4 of a Cadbury Easter Egg (13.5 syns) syn free rice pudding with apple and kiwi



Tomorrow - EE

Breakfast - sausage (1 syn) bacon, beans, fried eggs, mushrooms and tomatoes
Lunch - tuna pasta with pickles
Tea - pork curry with rice
Snacks - hifi bar (HEB) white chocolate lion bar (10 syns) fruit, rice pudding with banana and strawberries

Slight change of plan today had mackerel instead of tuna (no biggy) and going to have chicken and chips with fried veg for tea tonight....


Have a race tomorrow, only 10k but it starts at 12 which makes eating a little bit awkward to be fair, will have to eat breakfast but then take something to eat before with me (maybe just a banana) then take something to eat after the race as well.... can't decide whether to go EE or green.

I eat absolutely loadssss a day but a lot of fruit & yoghurt and veggies :) always think it's gonna do damage!

Don't worry about eating loads, as long as its free or superfree it's all good. The weeks where I've tried to cut down what I've eaten I've struggled to loose, so I obviously need it (can't explain it but not going to complain, I just embrace the plan)




Finally decided on the plan for tomorrow - EE

Breakfast - Pineapple, apple, kiwi and yogurt - then a banana just before the race
Lunch - tuna and potato salad with pickles
Tea - pork fajita mix with rice
Snacks - orange, plum, pear, crabsticks, hifi bar (HEB) not decided on syns, depends what I fancy probably something chocolatey, milk in drinks (HEA)
 
Over my syns today :( I'm rubbish, started off so well but had a flapjack after my race thinking well that's 8 syns and then I have 7 more to play with tonight, then we went for a drink and I had a mocha, then I had 2 chocolate biscuits at my mums. So no more syns for me.... I can't decide whether to be naughty and avoid my healthy extra's tonight now :/


Will be drawing a line under it after tonight and sticking to plan as usual tomorrow, and def no more syns tonight.


On a lighter note the race went really well, it was tough as the sun was out and it was warm which I'm not used to so I got through more then twice the amount of water I would usually use on a 10k run and it was also very windy, at a few points I was giving my all and running as fast as I could but because the wind was against me I seemed to be running in slow motion.

If you buy them from a normal shop they're more then that... but the one's I have are from my little fruit shop and they're less cals so work out at 10 syns (I think they're imported from another country)
 
and thank you, I've really enjoyed my food today.... just finished tea and stuffed :) (sure I'll manage to get my snacks in later on this evening though lol)
 
getting really nervous about WI, should loose but my body is a funny thing and if I gain even 1/2lb I'm out of my target range :( I'm starting to worry about what to drink and eat today... but going to try and make sure I do drink and eat.... I'll make sure I don't have anything after lunch time (which is what I usually do anyway)

Really fancy a green day today, I have some savoury mince in the fridge (leftover from last nights cottage pie) but we've already got the pork out of the freezer so sticking with my original plan for the day, can have the mince another day.
 
Lost 1/2 lb at WI, was about to grumble but realised considering I felt bloated and also that I've said I'm happy as long as I stay in target I can't moan :) So I'm very happy, won't be weighing in next week as its my brothers Birthday, I can't decide whether to stay off the scales completely or weigh at my mums just to get a rough idea of where I'm at.... will decide closer to the time.


Tomorrow I have another road race on, meaning I have to meet people at 5.40 again.... which means I can't have a big meal around 5 (don't want food sitting heavy on my tummy)

I can't wait for tea or lunch now.... haha I'm an animal with my food.


forgot to add the syns for my sausages (I've just got two quorn sausages out so that's 2 syns) if my mum brings the flapjacks that will bring me to 9.5 and I've got some low syn muffins out of the freezer so I'll have one of them for 4 syns (bringing my total to 13.5)

If on the off chance she doesn't bring the flapjacks I'll have a muffin and the pretzels bringing me to 12.5
