getting back to target - one day at a time

hmm today's going a little bit crazy (not completely but a little)

At the moment sticking with green, I did have the running gel for 4 syns.... I then had some of my mums homemade flapjack for whoever knows how many syns. Boyfriend is making stir fry for lunch which will be free, if I can stick with green I'm not too worried as hoping the flapjack won't take me too far over syns and I may also skip the hifi bar as the flapjack will have had loads of oats in so can count them as second HEB (but if I really want it as a snack later I'll have the hifi rather then more syns) however, we don't know now whether we're still going out for tea for my brothers Birthday tonight instead of Tuesday night.... if we do I can't do green as where we're going doesn't have much choice in the veggie options and those that are veggie are would make the syns worse on a green day then if I called it EE with the syns and HEX's I've already had. Hoping we find out soon as I hate not knowing what's going on, I'd prefer to go out on Tuesday as that's the beginning of my week so I can save syns from the rest of the week for it... also it won't throw my plan out of the window, whereas tonight sort of does. Also we need to book a table so I hope they don't take too long deciding.
 
Right today stayed green

I'm going to have the hifi later if I want it, I've calmed down a bit now and realised that the flapjack can't have been that bad, it would have taken me over syns a little but there's no point worrying about it :) chilli was gorgeous and we had it with rice... although there was a slight panic when I realised I'd somehow forgotten to add the kidney beans, so we quickly heated them in the microwave and mixed them in after everything had been dished up lol.

Tomorrows plan is EE.... not quite sure how its going to work out as I'm driving to S****horpe with my mum on a dummy run for next weekend (we have a half marathon and will be driving together so want to make sure we know the way) so this is the plan... but might end up changing if we're not back home in a decent time for lunch to work


Breakfast - 2 sausages (1 syn), bacon, beans, mushrooms, fried egg and tomatoes
Lunch - BBQ turkey in a ww wholemeal pitta (HEB) with salad
Tea - bacon and turkey BBQ melt (HEA for cheese) on wedges
Snacks - 1/2 Cadbury Easter Egg (13.5 syns) fruit, crabsticks, might have syn free pancakes or rice pud if I fancy it as well.
 
Change of plan again - AGHHHHH could kill my family at times!!!!!

Going to go out for my brothers Birthday tomorrow instead, will stick with EE so tea will be out, I'll stay off syns as I'm sure whatever I have will have some syns in for how its cooked. No idea what I'll have yet, but they do pasta dishes with tom sauce and grilled fish or steak or chicken ect.
 
All my good intentions went out of the window yesterday, I had beef burito's and shared a chocolate fudge cake with my boyfriend :( (a little disappointed as well as I wanted to try the mousse but didn't think boyfriend would want to share that so went for the fudge cake and after boyfriend said he would have had the mousse)


Anyway today is a new day and tomorrow is the start of a new week :) I think I'm getting weighed tomorrow now as well, which I wasn't going to be doing (as long as nothing crops up to change plans again)

EE

Breakfast - pineapple, apple, banana, kiwi and yogurt
Lunch - tuna pasta salad
Tea - BBQ turkey and bacon melt with wedges (HEA for cheese)
Snacks - 10 mikado sticks (5 syns) aldi cereal bars (HEB) pear, orange, plum, rice pudding with berries, crabsticks
 
Little one has a horrible bug today, if he's no better tomorrow then I won't be going to slimming world or running (I'll have to sort out my own exercise on Thursday instead) really hoping he'll be better after a good nights sleep.


Anyway, plan for tomorrow is EE

well little one is better today, mums burnt her arm though so not sure if she can do the half marathon on Sunday, not sure how I'll get there if she doesn't as I don't know exactly where it is for driving myself... plus boyfriend wanted the car. But I have paid and I'm not going to not do it, so I will sort something out, either talk boyfriend into driving and dropping me off then picking me up or be really brave and drive out by myself. Although I'd much prefer it if mum did go as its nice doing the races together.

Not sure what plan is for tomorrow yet, I'll probably update in the evening rather then trying to guess it all now, little one is having his tooth out so we're going to go out for lunch after and then I have another one of those road races. It will def be EE (at least I imagine it will)

I realise its a little short on superfree, but its a bit of a difficult day with little one being at the hospital and my road race. Will have some syns but not sure what yet

It would have been but yesterday's plans went out of the window :(

we were at the hospital until a lot later then expected, they advised we didn't take little one out to eat in case he had a bad reaction to the anaesthetic and I had a funny turn when we were waiting to be called through to see him, it was like when I've given blood before, I suppose it was a bit of a panic attack... I got very hot and felt sick, then when I went to try and find some water I collapsed. It won't have helped that I hadn't eaten all day and I'd seen some of the other children who had come round and they weren't doing so well, so I was worrying about what my little one was going to be like.

Anyway all that resulted in us deciding to go straight home and little one wanted pizza, so I ended up eating a large pizza and plenty of chips :( also meant I didn't do the road race as well, so I'm all dressed in my running gear so I can go on a run straight after dropping little one off at school, want to do at least 5 miles possibly more... but also need to make sure I'm back for work and don't want to overdo it for my half marathon at the weekend.


Plan for today is green

Lunch - leftover quorn chilli with either savoury rice or pasta depending on if I have time to make the rice
Tea - Quorn beef curry with chips and a ww wholemeal pitta (HEB)
Snacks - pear, pineapple, syn free rice pudding with apple and kiwi, bakewell hifi (HEB) milk in drinks (HEA) treat size flake (4 syns)


gutted about the pizza, wouldn't be too bad if it happened another week, but its just typical its happened when I have my half coming up.... saying that hopefully the damage won't be too bad, I was terrible the whole week of Easter and didn't gain much..... fingers crossed I can still manage to stay in target, as long as I'm careful the rest of the week

Thank you, don't worry I'm taking it steady today and will have my phone on me so if anything goes wrong I can contact someone, not that I think anything will go wrong.

I'm just planning on keeping syns around 5 for the rest of the week (except for Sunday) and then hope for a maintain or a very small gain (anymore then a lb and I'll be gutted as that will take me out of my target range)

Don't worry too much about WI, if its bad at least you know its the start of a new week. I always find the inbetween days a lot worse as you feel like your holding back on syns and worrying about WI, but once you've seen the result you can just relax and start sw properly again.... its a shame Tuesdays so far away for me to do that lol. The pizza wouldn't be bothering me so much if I wasn't going off plan on Sunday, but I suppose that's life and any gain I see at least I'll know where it came from.

I enjoyed it and its not something I do every week.... in fact not something I do every month, I think I've had pizza 3 times last year.... not bad at all compared to the amount of times I had it pre-slimming world.
