Getting my body back - vegetarian EE

Thanks girls good to be back really missed being on here - no internet apart from once in a while standing on one foot and waving the phone in the air!

Weighed this morning and exactly 11st so sts but think it will catch up with me. I did do a lot of time in the pool and out in the fresh air so you never know.

Aiming to be on plan today but no fruit and little veg in the house so need to get out and do a shop - looking forward to being on plan and have some ideas for meals this week. Hope everyone has a good day x

Snacks Kitkat (5.5), toblerone (4), Apple, tiny bit of toast of sons plate (2)

Syns 15

10,000 steps completed and was just under 6000 yesterday

Had a long night with the baby, a combination of wind and a cold sneezing a lot, lots of waking for comfort feeds. So ate breakfast about 5.30 and by 9 thought it was lunch time so had lunch at just before 11 and dinner at 3. Aiming not to eat any more tonight but we will see - may have a bowl of fruit. Craved chocolate all day and was trying for low syn after holiday but failed on that front.

Another bad night but on a positive - looked in the mirror this morning and thought my dress looked big on me rather than just loose - tried on some old dresses and could get into a 12 - am absolutely shocked thought I had lost weight but not 2 dress sizes - given me a boost today - just need to do something about my shape my mummy tummy is not reducing yet x

Tuesday
B muesli heb with fat free yog and banana
L pasta with peppers, spinach and capers, light pesto (2) tomato purée, lightest Philly and low fat cheese hea
D cauliflower and paneer Laska with stir fry egg noodles and peas (2) hea x2

Lovely day, helped a friend, looked after my little one and coped with the tiredness. Not a lot of steps done but tried when I could and today just accepting failure on this one - started 30 day squat and abs challenge today and also set alarms on my fit bit to remind me to drink more water (again - this is my nemesis)

Hi looks like paneer is syns rather than a healthy extra - have had it a few times as well thinking it was a hea - oh well will have to use Quorn pieces or make some Dahl for the protein next time - I love it as well but am addicted to all cheese.

That water looks beautiful love the watermelon one, will def try that this week x

Kool...

Paneer syns are not bad once in a while. Maybe you could throw a few pieces into the Dahl.

How is LO doing?

I have started weaning a tiny bit, but she is struggling with it stomach wise at night but loving it in terms of needing food rather than just milk she has been over feeding for about a week and making me sore. Otherwise she is lovely and happy. How is your LO doing? Not easy looking after a little one when you don't feel well. (You know when you are tired as I must have fallen asleep replying to this earlier as half typed)

What have you started weaning her with? I gave my little one peas on Mon & Tues she loves the taste but doesn't get that she should just suck it....so she sticks her thumb in when i give her a mouthful...guess she equates eating with having boob in her mouth...hehe. Didn't give her anything today because i want to see how she is at night as past two nights she has been up every two hours so just want to make sure its not her tummy...i wouldn't say she even ate 3 spoon fulls their so delicate...bless them

I am not so keen on start the solida i have to say...I wanted to stick with breast feeding for another month or soo...

Your right thou...its nice to see them trying and enjoying the food

Hi gave her baby rice first 3 days then gave her baby porridge yesterday, tonight has been the best night only 2 get ups, so will stick to porridge today and add veg next week if sleeping is better.. It sounds the same for you that up every 2h. - I couldn't take many more days like this have been falling asleep not long after she is in bed - no life. I am much more reluctant to stop the breastfeeding this time but my partner really wants to introduce one bottle a day so he can be involved which I am avoiding at the moment, although it would give me some more freedom x

Wednesday
B porridge heb, honey (1) raspberries (frozen and defrosted was really impressed with taste and consistency really nice)
L pasta, peppers, spinach etc as yesterday (2) hea
D egg mayo salad, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickled onions, cheese hea x2. Pickle and lightest Mayo (2.5)

Snacks toast of my sons plate (5) got up stop doing this!!!!! Banana

Set alarms on my Fitbit and drank loads more water. Did day 2 of 30 day abs and squats, did most of Charlotte Cosbys dvd until baby woke up inconsolable (no cool down - may suffer tomorrow) 8000 steps all together

Thursday
B porridge heb, rasberries, honey 1
L pasta with roast veg, courgettes, aubergine, peppers, tomato purée pesto (1) passata, capers hea x2 in cheese (pasta is def my comfort food this week - but helping me stay on plan)
D I intend to eat 50 gr milk chocolate (13) very tired had a **** day for no reason other than my mood (getting up at 4 is beginning to drain me) so treating myself to a bath, chocolate and another very early night

unfortunately second set up was just before 4 and didn't go back to sleep hey ho that's life. Have blockages in both breasts today (sorry tmi) so I think that may have added to the moodyness, have tried to unblock in bath so hopefully better in the morning x

Life of a mother...we have a whole different clock.

Hope you do feel better in the morning is it due to starting the solids?

Hi yes def due to the sids I think, the porridge is better than the baby rice last night I finally had sleep - only one wake up last night from Neve, (although Sebby also had a nightmare and wanted his mummy) and she slept till 5.30 - finally feeling human x

Friday
B overnight oats with loads of frozen fruit heb
L baked pot and cheese a bit of salad hea x2 (lunch out)
D SW sweet pot curry and rice (not a fan of ready meals but thought the curry was reasonable and both me and my partner would have it again.)

No snacks or syns and hea is low so will have a snack of Apple, cheese and some chutney for Syns later

Def more in control of food when I have a good nights sleep and a lovely day catching up with the girls while the little ones played
