Getting skinnier and healthier with SW

WI day, fingers crossed!

Thanks girls, you really helped to make me feel better again! Was too busy to check in yesterday! Had the school til 3, then work from 3.45 til 9.15, so was pretty tired by the time I got home. Back up today at 5.20 for the early shift. So here's yesterday's food plan:

B- fruit salad of strawberries, raspberries, grapes, pineapple and kiwi. With a yoghurt.
S- 2 tangerines
L- brown roll with tomato purée and cheese, yoghurt, pear and Special K biscuits (5 syns).
S- alpen light, babybel light
D- supernoodles, alpen light, apple

quite a good day really considering how busy I was.
WI tonight and I am quite apprehensive, I'd love to get 1.5lbs off so I hit my 1.5 stone. That would be awesome! I've really noticed that my work trousers are lose lately which was nice as I like them quite big, but they're now too big, they practically show my bum if I bend down, so ill be buying some new ones this weekend. Fingers crossed, ill fit in the smaller size!

Plan for today:
B- banana in yoghurt, and a fruit salad, kiwi, pineapple, strawberries, raspberries and grapes.
L- pasta with spinach, pasata, onion, courgette, mushrooms, spring onions, and a bit of cheese
D- not sure, won't be until after WI anyway.

Need to go to the shops, need food yet again, but sure when to go. X

So I'm still buzzing after weigh in last night!
Think I need to carry on being a good girl this week to make sure I don't gain this week, that's a lot to lose in a week at this stage.
Not at work til 3.45 today, so going to go into town, need to get a 40th birthday pressie for a friend, and need more fruit, ran out of my berries and stuff. We've got our removals company coming this afternoon to access what size can we need. Hoping they'll give us some boxes so we can start packing, I'd rather just do it slowly over the next month.
Worked out as well, I've got 8lbs to my mini target I wanted to reach before Spain (may 6th), and only 5 weeks left at my current group before I move, so I'd LOVE to have it off by then, that would be incredible!

Food plan for today:
B- fruit salad of pineapple, mango, kiwi and grapes and a yoghurt
L- undecided yet, hoping hubby doesn't tempt me into eating our. Lol
D- probably leftover pasta from yesterday lunch.

Massive huge congrats on the 4lbs lost and reaching your 1.5 stone target! You're doing amazingly well! You'll probably be down a number next week too! :D

If you like you smokey BBQ type food, you can get liquid smoke on ebay/amazon and it's free in syns and makes food taste reeally smokey and yum! I think you only need a tiny amount! x

got my friend a lovely jasper conran bag for b.day. She's not very girly so got a striped over the body one. Hope she likes it :) tried on about 15 bras, couldn't find any that I really liked or fitted perfect :-( might go back when I hit about 12 stone and get remeasured. She quickly measured me and said I should be a 38, but never worn a 38 in my life! I know it sounds a bit silly but when you've just lost 1.5 stone, the last thing you want to hear is you need a bra 2" wider! I said, I know I'm being silly!
Hubby wanted pizza for lunch, so we went to Pizza Hut, he had buffet, and I had lasagna, the healthiest thing on the menu. Didn't eat it all and took the cheese off the top, but it upset my belly :-S. feel better now I've been to the loo, but find it strange that lasagna would be that bad for my belly to hurt so bad.
Had the removals man round, said we've probably only got enough furniture to fill half our allowance. And he gave us some boxes to get us started, :) so I can start packing whenever I want.
best go, got to get changed for work :-( could do with a nap instead! Lol x
 
I've noticed recently that if I eat out or am having heavier meals than normal, I get a bit of a dodgy tummy afterwards. Had a slice of birthday cake a few weeks ago and felt funny afterwards and the same after I'd been out for an Italian meal. Maybe our bodies are just not used to that kind of food anymore. Can't decide if it's a good or a bad thing though!!

Congrats on club 10 an 1.5 award :D amazing how even after an off day a great loss can happen, I've had that too and it's the biggest shock!!
Also- well done for resisting pizza at the buffet :O WOW. I'd have been feantically working out the syns and probably eating twice as much- buffets are lethal! X
 
Lovely lazy Saturday :)

Hi all, hope your all having a lovely lazy Saturday like me :)

I'm feeling nice and refreshed, I woke up at 9.50am! Woohoo! Can't even remember the last time, I slept in that late, it was lovely.
Got lots to do today, but just bits around the house, so still in my pjs now! :) mum gave me a huge box of crap to put on our local selling page, and we had a few bits of decent stuff, so taken photos if it all and put it up.
I went to send my application for teaching to the new uni, but realised all experience needed to be within 2 years and most of mine was 2.5 years ago. So annoyed with myself. So my new plan is to get the days I need before I leave here, apply when I get to Lincoln and hope I get in for this year, if not, ill wait a year, and apply as early as I can next year.

Need to clean the house, it's clean but got a cleaning company coming on Tuesday to give us an estimate to clean it for march out. That's what they call the move out inspection when you move raf houses, and it's very very strict. Apparently they charge extra for lime scale etc so thought if I gave it a good go, our estimate won't be too high.
And then should probably start packing.
40th birthday party tonight, should be good fun :)

Food plan:
B- fruit salad, strawberries, raspberries, pineapple, mango and grapes. With a toasted brown roll, with tomato purée and cheese on, was like 2 mini pizzas. Yummy! Had that at 11.30, so not too odd. Lol. Oh and a yoghurt.
L- hungry now, so just thinking of what I might have. Might do a quick spag Bol, as its my fave.
D- not sure, at the party they're making chilli, they're homemade type cooks so it will probably be ok syn wise, so might have a snack before I go, have a tiny bowl so as not to be rude, then can have leftover food at home later if I'm hungry.

Belly is still not 100% right since lasagna yesterday... Think your right bev, think its my belly not used to the fat, it's good I'm not used to it, but rubbish that it makes me feel so yucky. Worried the mince in the chilli might be too fatty again today, wouldn't like bad belly while I'm out :-S

think ill take my little low alcohol wines for me too drink tonight, not sure, might take car and not drink incase my belly is not great! Oh I don't know! Think I'm worrying too much now really. Lol.

Another snoozy lie in today, it's been lovely. Got lots to do today tho, cleaning and packing didn't really happen yesterday, so I better actually crack on with that today. I'm doing a chicken roast, and my brothers coming over for that, and going to make a big pot of chilli for us to eat throught the week, it will just be handy when we need something quick.

Food Plan
B- bacon, vege sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms, brown roll (hex b), fruit.
L- left over spag bol
D- roast chicken, baby corn, carrots, broccoli roast potatoes, mashed sweet potatoes, gravy.

Thought I had more roast type veg, so might wander to the shops see if there's anything there to get just a bit extra. Will pick up some aunt Bessie's Yorkshire puds too actually as they'll be easy to syn. M

I'm hungry now thinking bout food so will make my brekkie! :) x
