Hey girl!

Glad you're having a nice weekend.
I wouldn't expect that you had a bad tummy because it's not used to the fat- it's not like we're completely starved of fat in this diet, we get it through cheese and even extra lean mince, synned items etc; this plan is pretty open to good fats so I doubt it would be from that, especially after only a few months of SW (I didn't have any problems with the greasy take away the other day!) I'm guessing it's probably because something was wrong with the food :/ anyway- don't let it put you off treating yourself to a meal out every so often!

Good luck with your applications, shame you put effort into that one to only realise your experience was out of their allowance :/ but maybe they'll see how awesome you are and hire you anyway ;)

Hi all,
Soph, I think you are maybe right, I do eat cheese happily, and I'm ok with a Chinese, it could be a complete coincidence as there's been bugs going round, but not be throwing up and my belly feels much better today, so I'm happy.
It hurt a bit last night when I was out, but was hard to tell if it was my ribs hurting from my illness or my belly cos it hurts in the same place.

Had a really lovely night last night. My friend seemed to love the bag I bought her, and she gave me a pressie shed had for me for my birthday (29th dec, lol). Was funny going to a birthday party and get a present. It's lovely tho, it's a hanging cream heart and it opens so you can put a tea light in it.

I stuck to my 2 little bottles of wine (11 syns). For wine drinkers, it's quite sweet if your going to try it. Very drinkable, but it would be too sweet if you usually have Pinot Grigio/Chardonnay. Had a bit of chilli, but chose the vege option and it was yummy! :) avoided birthday cake, my belly was still sore, so I actually didn't want it.

Bit of a change to food diary, had roast dinner at 3.00, as requested by my brother, so just had that, yummy. Also had a mini kinder choc (2syns). If I'm hungry later I'm sure ill find something. Need to make my chilli, and do a bit of packing still. I've borrowed mums steam cleaner and been attacking lime scale around taps, on the shower head etc. got loads of washing done, but the house just feels a state at the minute cos we've got stuff everywhere to sell or pack, or store for my mum. It's just a bit mental, think ill be going crazy in another month. Lol

Just laid in bed updating, I love having days off in the week! :)
the plan for today is walk Mylo, eat breakfast, then pick up my brother and go to my mum and dads new house and try to paint upstairs, with its first coat.
For those of you that don't know, my mum and dad bought a house, they got the keys in January. They were going to paint then move straight in, do work while they lived there as it looked only cosmetic. It's now a full blown house project. It has been rewired, replastered, reprinted, carpets ripped out, skirting boards ripped out, kitchen out. The newest thing to go wrong is they need a new roof, which is cost about £4,500. So we're helping our while we're off and waiting for the skirting to be delivered.

Food Plan:
B- fruit and yoghurt
L- chilli or a mugshot
D- homemade turkey burgers with salad.

I might make today a red day so I can have an extra bread roll for my burgers?! Hmmm.
Anyway, happy Monday xx

Wow, that definitely sounds like an all-hands-on-deck project!! I'm sure it'll be amazing when it's finished though. A couple of my friends bought a house a few years ago that needed "some work". It was three years before they could actually move in!! It's the most gorgeous house though, they've really done a good job.

Enjoy your day off :)

Sounds like you're getting well and truly prepared for the big move! I'm sure the next month will whiz by and before you know it you'll be chilling on the sofa in your new home with a cuppa! Hope your tummys feeling 100% better now, must have been a dodgy lasagne I reckon...but at least it put you off the birthday cake (which is more than can be said for me!) Enjoy your extra painting body magic! xxxx

Hi ladies, yep lots of hands on deck at mums, I'm covered in paint. Lol. I don't seem to be very good at staying clean. Lol. Food has been quite good today, but feeling very bloated and yucky in general. Feel super sleepy this evening, so planning for an early night so I can get lots of sleep. I'm on earlies tomorrow, so up at 5.20.... Urgh!

Food diary:
B- banana in yoghurt, fruit salad of pineapple, strawberries, raspberries
L- leftover chilli with spinach stirred in it, pear.
S- malteser bunny (3 syns)
D- homemade turkey burgers, butternut squash chips, lettuce, BBQ sauce (3 syns), bit of cheese and brown roll (hexa and hex b)

think tonight my supper will be a hifi bar and some chocolate coconut milk :) yum yum, and will keep syns low.
X

Aw, I've neither of those nearby. I'll have a look around for it elsewhere, would be nice to have an alternative for my HexA.

Hi all,
had a very hectic day. Work was rubbish, my boss is a *****, I'm ready to quit!! Grrr. After work had lunch then went to mum and dad new house, had the new kitchen sink and skirting arrive and then I did some more painting. I needed some fruit so I popped to waitrose, £60 later I went home and ordered a chicken kebab. Actually got a lot for money at waitrose, can't complain.
Just had a little malteser bunny, and crawled into bed. Thoroughly fed up today, and I'm on earlies tomorrow so up at stupid o'clock again. :-(
I know I shouldn't quit as we need the money, but would be so nice to have time to go to the school, and pack and cook and be happy xx

Hi Emma,

I'm new to minimins but not SW! I'm on my third stint and have my first weight in. I completely see how you are feeling today... When you feel less than perfect in 'the rest of your life' dieting is the hardest thing to get right... Which is why I'm on my third try... The last time I left the group was because I was having a rotten time at work and I was looking for a new job but getting nowhere and I just spiralled down hill... And put on all the weight I'd lost and more!

So if I can offer any words of wisdom... Try to stay happy with the weight you've lost and use this as your positive focus point! Cooking and washing up is just the hardest thing when you are struggling... Do what you can to make life easier for you... Batch cook and freeze portions, make sure your fridge is full of healthy stuff.

your weight loss so far is awesome! Well done

Aw Emma I have times like this as well. Try and focus on the good stuff rather than the bad, although I know it's so much easier said than done.

I sat yesterday and went through all of my diary posts and I found it really inspiring, maybe give that a go x

Ahh stupid boss...just imagine that moment where you can tell him to go shove his job! It's not long now! :) sounds like you've been really organised and had a good on plan day minus the boss incident...the malteser bunny is a particular highlight :) hope works been ok this morning and you woke up feeling more positive! Xxx

Actually woke up feeling very miserable! Oh well in a better mood now. Went into work, was still mad, but my boss never came in, I was ready to tell her Sunday would be my last shift. Told the other supervisor, and text her. She rang me and was really nice! How weird! She suggested I go to the doc on Monday, and getting them to sign me off sick for the next 4 weeks! Bonus! Not very much money coming in but will be better than nothing. Made myself a yummy lunch and I'm now curled up on the sofa, watching supersize vs super skinny. Makes me realise at least I'm doing something about my weight, before it creates health problems.
Enjoying having some relaxing time.

Food plan:
B- banana in yoghurt, strawberries and grapes
S- alpen light bar, clementine
L- pasta, with waitrose sundried tomato chicken (1.5 syns), tomatoes, chopped tomatoes, onion, mushrooms, spinach, cheese
D- bns, leek and bacon risotto, looking forward to making this, not had risotto in ages.

Had a sneaky weigh on the scales this morning and stayed the same since last week, quite happy with that actually, considering how much I lost last week. Fingers crossed ill Sts when I get on the scales, and I don't gain, I'd be gutted! X

Hi all,
just wanted to quickly pop in, my brother made us a mince and potato pie so got to try and avoid that now, had a tiny bite earlier and it was delishious :)
when we went to pick it up, a lot of my family was at my mums and were going to local pub for tea so we tagged along. Hubby ordered a combo platter, as did most of the table. But I really really didn't fancy anything at all, and wasn't particularly hungry as I ate lunch late, so I sat there while everybody ate crap. I pinched 1 curly fry, took one bite and put the rest of it down as wasn't that nice. Just sat with my diet coke :-D
very proud of myself actually, as mum had a bottle of wine and offered me a glass, I would have normally obliged, and I'd normally ordered a burger and chips or something and ate the lot, even if I wasn't hungry!! So that has changed, woop!

Got home, walked Mylo, made a salad for my lunch tomorrow and then I was a bit peck ish so I've just made my little invention of mini pizzas. I know they're nothing like pizza but keep me happy. Toasted roll with tomato purée and cheese, yum, and just had a mini malteser bunny.

Estimated syns today are still 10.5, but could have blown it completely at the pub and didn't! Woop!
Wish me luck with WI. I don't have time to stay for class, I'm literally going to weigh in my break at work so won't have much time at all!
Night everyone x

Sounds like things you've perked up a little today. Well done for not giving in to temptation at the pub - not sure I could have! :)
