Gobolino's Food Diary - converted to ww now!

Not feeling too well today, plus I've eaten the three hifi bars that were in my bag :(

Breakfast: yog and raspberries
Dinner: lentil soup, hifi (6syns)
snack: pitta and cheese (HA HB)
snack: banana, apple, milk in tea (HA), hifi bar (HB), hifi bar (6syns)
Tea: planned on having green thai curry with lots of lovely green veg but it'll be 6syns for the coconut milk..... although I could drain the coconut milk and give most to hubby, taking the syns to 3syns for the remaining coconut milk left sticking to the veggies. Perhaps thats a plan.

have a good day all xxx

sorry your not feeling well. I have really tried to cut back on my consumption of hi fi bars they are too addictive to me. I was saying to the group i took this morning that the new ones are the worst for me I can eat 6 in the blink of an eye !!

sorry also about your sts just keep on keeping on

Teresa

Hi Teresa

Thanks for your support regarding the Hifi's, we've talked this through many times havent we! I cant believe I fell for the Hifi's luring me in this time. Anyway thats done now, thanks for letting me know I'm not alone in behaving like this around the HiFis :)

My days not gone too well or well foodwise, when we came home our boiler had problems hubby fiddled with it and we had our carbon monoxide alarm going off  Nightmare! I'm pretty stressed to say the least as we're due to go away early hours of friday morning.

Anyway, I'm writing today off completely and will start again tomorrow. Plans are going to change as I planned to cook all our veggies into soup as we're going away, so I dont know what we'll be doing tomorrow but I need to stay strong and not go to pieces under stressed out situations.

Thanks :) We now have the gas isolated so we're able to use the gas cooker. I dont think I'll be on now until after hols, so if I've disappeared thats why :) Have a good week Teresa!

Hello honey, sorry to read you are having a stressful time at the moment. I know what you mean about having to exercise - in my opinion it should be a bonus not a necessity for weight loss but I find it has more of an impact that healthy eating too!!
Enjoy your holiday, hope you have a chance to relax a bit xx :)

Thanks PCSuey, I did have a chance to relax on holiday, it was lovely! You're definitely right about the exercise too :)

We came back from hols thurs night and I think I managed quite well being away. We did lots of walking and although we had a few cakes, this was definitely balanced with plenty of wholesome eating (soups, beany chillys etc). Its difficult when you're away and you dont know the syn value of things but since being back and while travelling on thursday I've been back to counting and measuring. I've been keeping a food diary online for a change.....cant remember friday off the top of my head, but here's my weekend:

Fri - 13.5syns
B-all bran (HB), splash of milk (HA), banana
D-stir fry with noodles, beansprouts, pepper, onion, blue dragon sauce (3syns)
T-wedges, beans and cheese (HB). Banana and custard (6syns plus HA)
snacks- hazelnuts (HB), hot chocolates (3syns), pom lite 100ml (1.5syns)

Sat -16syns
B- Egg on toast (HB)
D- Bean and Quorn chilli with Jacket potato and cheese (HB)
T- Spinach and ricotta lasagne (HA HA +4syns), BNS, carrot and peas
snacks- pink grapefruit, banana, apple, 2 large hot chocolates (6syns), 125ml wine (4.5syns), pom lite juice drink (100ml =1.5syns)

Sun: 16 syns
B-apple, banana, orange
D-cauliflower cheese (HA HA +5syns), potato wedges and sweetcorn on the cob
T-Garlic and chilli rice soup with spring greens (HB +3syns for oil)
Pud- ready brek pancakes for dessert (HB) with tsp sugar (1syn) and tbsp maple syrup (2.5syns) and a banana
snacks-pom lite juice (1.5syns), hot choc options (3syns)

I ordered an online shop for when we came home, but realised when it arrived that there seemed to be lots for hubby and not too much for me. Plus no desserts, I mean things like yog, vlf fromage frais etc! So thats why I've been spending syns of custard to have with a banana or some hot chocolate after a meal in the evening. We still have no heating, but we've borrowed a plug in oil filled radiator :)

Catch up with your diaries this week! Have a good one everyone :)

Pants, today was planned and going well, but soup didnt cut it for lunch and I went to m+s.... veggie percy pigs, granola square, shortbread and a pack of sandwiches was consumed :(

Got home and felt the need for more carbs -small toast, dish of grapenuts and all bran. Just had a Baileys coffee too.

Things had been going so well. Its a blip and its on a monday again (any patterns here !!!??!!)....... ggrrrrrrr grrrrr. I'm upset with myself for giving in to the negative monday talk.

Oh my goodness I'm also really suffering now with cough and sore throat, gets worse during the evening - oh grottbags !!!

:wavey: Hello! Welcome back. Glad you had good holidays, it sounds as though you did really well when you were away so don't let this evening's blip pee you off too much. Are you going to weigh in tomorrow? Draw a line under it once you've been and start again. Don't beat yourself up about it, you've been doing really well and can get back to it no problem.

Are your boiler problems sorted out now? Sounds like the sort of nightmare you could do without, especially just before you went on holiday. We're getting a new boiler soon, I'm dreading it - it's an epic job when they start to go wrong.

Hope you're doing ok x

Thanks both. I find it hard to think about being able to stay on plan again right now.

Today has been rubbish too. Porridge unweighed for breakfast. Yog with unweighed walnuts for a snack. Late lunch of soup from yesterday and another visit to M+S.

I'm going to do the weigh in tonight and after that I'll be going home..... I need my evening tonight.

Just remember whatever the scales say tonight it is only temporary they will be lower next week. You have really been doing so much better lately you just need to fake felign motivated until the real motivation comes back.

good luck

Teresa x

You're right Teresa, its bound to be lower next week, I can look forward to that :) Definitely a good plan to fake the motivation until it really does come back. I know why I'm struggling, its being back at work and all the stresses that go with it :(

I've definitely come to far to throw the towel in, its not an option! I will face the music tonight and then move on :)

Thanks again!

I gained 2 pounds. Clean slate for this week and trying the 777 challenge too :)

Thanks Beegee ! I'll find it soon and then I'll be bouncing around spreading the sw love :)

Thanks Teresa :) I know too much pressure if definitely not a good thing. It'll just be something to aim for but I know that I'll not stick to it on Saturday and possibly Sunday too as I've got family staying and plan to have some nice wine with them :) Hope your week is going well.
