Ha ha, I was just going to say not to be concerned about my food not looking very much as I had 2 of everything.... 2 pears, 2 bananas, 2 apples, 2 pepper. BUT, I've just noticed I completely didnt write down my lunch either
Lunch was left over roast veggies, red cabbage and mashed potato!
Ok, here's the deal on grape-nuts. Firstly, they are not nuts and not grapes! They are described as crunchy wheat and malted barley cereal. I'd go with that description, they do taste pretty malty and they are a bit grainy/crunchy. The new weight for a HB is 35g, which is good but if you ate it as a cereal with milk in the standard way, I dont think it'd be too satisfying. But, I put it with yog and fruit and thats a whole different story, the crunch goes slightly and blends into the yoghurt with its malty taste. Not sure if this is promoting grapenuts or making you think eurgh! Anyway, might be worth a try to add to your breakfast repetoire
