Did the Leslie Sansone 1 mile walk twice yesterday morning so going to try out the 2 mile one in a few minutes so I only have one warm up and cool down.
Enjoyed doing it, better than most other DVD's I have done.

I have done my one mile again - it was still a challenge - I will be doing it until it is easier before I add in the next mile - hoping for the end of next week - but there is no hurry anything is better than nothing :)

meals look lovely again I need to steer clear of wheat for a bit as its affecting me again - so no bread or pasta for me for a few days:)

have a lovely day - the sun is out here and I am hoping for NO snow flurries - but we will see

H xx

You will have to have people looking out for it for you :) Found one site Curry Recipes, Curry recipe, Indian restaurant style curry recipes which said it delivered free to Northern Ireland but when I looked at the price they are charging - it is normally around and about £1 for 100gms and on there it is £2.50 !!!!
Those cauliflower steaks are brilliant - I made them a couple of weeks ago but as we don't have an oven had to improvise a bit and boiled it lightly and then put a little oil in a pan with some fennel seeds and cooked it over a high flame until it browned. It was lovely. For the albondigas I am going to use the frozen veggie meatballs from Asda which I like.

Just had a quick look online as well. There were some places that had it at around £1 but delivery to northern ireland was over £10!! One site had free delivery to England so I could always get it sent to my sister and get it from her. But for now I don't mind paying the £2.50 as I really don't think I'l be able to find it around here. Also couldn't find the mango powder but I'l do a search for it later! Really want to try this for spread for ryvita!!

Thanks for looking :)

I saw the £10 delivery as well  I will be back in UK at beginning of May so will send you some - there are lots of Indian shops near to where we will be going and I will have to go and stock up again.
(Mango powder is also know as Amchoor Powder)

My sister is home this weekend so if I'd thought in time I could have had it sent to her already, but my other sis is going later this month, and mum in May and I think I'm popping over in June so plenty of time!! How long are you back for? I've a friend teaching english in Vietnam, she was home for a few weeks there but is away back again now. She loves it!

We live in Spain and we have stayed in Vietnam for 3 months in Winter for the last 3 years. We left home in October and went to Australia then Thailand and now here and that is why I have put weight back on, too much eating outand drinking too much wine and no gym  We are now cooking for ourselves so can regulate what we eat plus there is less to tempt me here except the nice cake shop just down the road.

I know the eating out bit - done that today with dd lovely lunch but oh so many calories -
hope you are having a good day today
the sun has been out here intermittently and it has been slightly warmer - but its by no means what it should be this time of year

how is your son enjoying his time with you - at least he is giving you some computer time :)

I enjoyed 1 mile and decided to do the 2 this morning thinking that as we walk so much it would be easy - wrong - with 8 minutes to go I was wishing it was all over :) not quite the pace we walk at but I finished it and will do it again in the morning. When we get home will have to get a TV in the kitchen or it will wear out the carpet. I am not eating anywhere near as much pasta and bread as I usually do and am quite surprised that I don't miss it a much as I thought I would.

He likes it here especially the sunshine although he does not go out in it as much as we do - he is very pale skinned. Some time is just about right - he is using my laptop as a TV and I used it whilst he was eating his dinner then when he was in the shower - it is almost 1am and he has just left for his hotel so I got up to lock the door.
He was watching Moto GP practice and then cycle racing on payed for Eurosport.
Will have to post my food when I get up now - he is still in bed for about 4 hours when I get up.

I'm impressed with all the walking! Think of the good it's doing you in those moments when you're tired and just want to get home :) x

This weeks treat - better than any bar of chocolate - and before you ask - no they don't as I cook them without any bicarb etc and do them in a pressure cooker. :D

Your food pictures are always so beautifully presented - making me hungry and it's only 9am here lol ;) x

Thank you. You are doing so well - hope everything goes to plan for you.

Hey

Had a look for panch poran in the specialty section in sainsburys but no joy :(
I looked at your pintrest link, the food looks so good on it! I like the look of the cauliflower steaks and vegan albondigas

Make your own - equal measures each of - cumin seed, mustard seed, nigella seed, fenugreek seed and fennel seed. can probs get each component from supermarket :)

Pho - A good veggie stock, mixed mushrooms, onions, tomato, noodles, mint, basil, coriander, tofu, bean sprouts and soya sauce. (I put garlic and ginger into the stock)
Any quantity you like ---

We cooked the onion in a little oil then added fennel and coriander seeds and 1 star anise, stir and cook 1min and add a packet of mixed mushrooms and a chopped tomato. Stir-fry until mushrooms cooked.
Then put it together. Put some cooked noodles in a bowl then add mushroom mix and hot stock, herbs and top with tofu - and/or bean sprouts and decorate with coriander - drizzle a little soya sauce over the top.

well food as usual really lovely
son being a pain (in the nicest way) with his computer usage
but I have to say I can understand why if he is fair skinned - I can burn quite easily and mornings or late afternoons have always been best for me but from about 11-4 I need to stay out of direct sun if I can

just to let you know the sun is shining here and its feeling warmer due to the easterly wind being lighter
on my dairy (and I fogot to answer there) you asked how much I have reduced my oats too - well I was on 40g but now on 35 and dont notice the difference Kara coconut milk substitute is 27cals per 100ml which is very little so does not add much tot he meal I find that amount of porridge keeps me full until lunchtime with no problems - in the summer I will reduce it further but add in fruit and yog and have it cold :)
