Hazel's rough food diary

Okay huns I will do. I have been really good considering the utter rebellious thoughts I had today!

Sunday EE

Breakfast - 2 alpen light bars and coffee (HEB)

Lunch - no lunch - well a banana and a persimmon

Tea - sausage and pasta stir fry thing with mushrooms and cherry toms and red pepper. Sausages were Tesco HL ones so between 4 it was about 2 syns + 1 syn for olive oil. Yummo

Supper - toffee quark pud (1)

Total syns = 4!!! yay!
 
Hi Hazel, sorry to hear of the gain this week, just put it behind you and start again, you are doing so well with your food diary, they sound so delicious. xx
 
Thanks Jane. It was a loss not a gain but only a quarter of a pound so nothing to shout about.

Tonight's tea - Burgers in buns with HEA of cheese. Nom nom

Today was a red day for me - very unusual.

Breakfast - alpen light bars HEB)

Lunch - bacon and scrambled eggs

Tea - burgers and bacon and cheese (HEA) in bun (HEB) tom ketchup and mayo (2)

Snacks - 2 persimmons, toffee/ quark pud (1) cheese on toast (HEA) (3)

Total 6 syns

Trying to keep the syns low as it's dd's birthday at weekend and there will be cake!! Plus, I really REALLY do want to sneak into Costa at some point for a treat.

Do you have the weetabix and carrot cake recipe or where do I find it, it looks lovely. xx
 
Thanks Jane. It is very easy so here are the ingredients:

Weetabix cake - 1/2 a cake = 1HEB + 2syns

4 weetabix crushed
4 tbsp water
2 tbsp mincemeat
4 tbsp splenda
1 tbsp mixed spice
3 eggs
1 carrot grated (optional) This is my own variation on it.

Mix everything up in a bowl and pour into a 2 pound loaf tin. Cook on 180 for 25-30 mins.

Yesterday I had a curly wurly and a hot choc with lf cream so need to go and put the syns in.

Today -

Breakfast - total yoghurt and a banana

Lunch - mash pizza (HEAx2 for cheese)

Tea - Spring greens and linguine (HEB for oil) Parmesan cheese (2)

Snacks and syns - 1/2 a weetabix cake (2) (HEB)

Supper boiled rice a tub curry sauce from Chinese (6)

Thursday

Breakfast - weetabix cake (heb &. 2) coffee

Lunch - pasta n sauce

Tea- mixed bean chilli and rice with ( hea cheese)

Last night Iyar a tub curry sause from Chinese (6) so need to add that in.
 
ooh its so much easier isint it.i swear by that frozen onion.mind you the frozen peppers are handy to have in freezer,i usually buy fresh ones when they on offer then end up chucking em out cos i dont know what to do with them.....im starving,might have my tea early,i like having a bowl of cold bean chilli in the evenings,lovely.

Oh my gosh! You can eat it cold?? I am impressed! Anyways... here's the chilli bean verdict....


NOM NOM NOM!!! Loved it and got a humongous panful left! I wasn't sure at first if I would like it as it looked verrrrryyyyy saucey and I am not big on tinned saucey stuff but it was delish and will def be putting it on my regulars. I had a HEA of cheese on top and had it with rice. Yummmyy. Thanks Leanne. That was a good one. xx
 
ooh,im glad you enjoyed it honey,i thought of you when i was having mine.i always make loads and i freeze it so its handy to have on days when you just havent got time,just whack it ion the microwave for 5 minutes,bag of rice and voila,a quick and easy tea....also very filling,dont know if you noticed but it is one of my favs lol
 
Hehe yeah I noticed lol. Well scales showed a gain today so I will weigh properly on Sunday. Bit pants that as I have hardly had any syns at all this week and only 2 yesterday. Just carry on as usual and hope for the best. X

I think you need to stick to Sunday WI hun, unless you are going to change to a Friday every week and count this as your first one. Weighing in 2 days early makes a big difference.

I'm sure you'll see a better result on Sunday xx
 
Thanks Ali but you know it won't make a dot of difference cos if I do lose I'm going to be putting it all back on as it is dd's birthday this weekend and I have had the most amazing dolphin cake made for her but its massive and she isnt having a party! Lots of cake to eat. Then on Monday we are taking her out for a meal. Ho hum. Then I have friends coming up to visit next weekend who I have promised to bake for so that will be more bad stuff and I'm umming and ahhing over whether or not to go buy a bottle of Baileys. What the heck - then it's Christmas. So...... I'm not holding my breath for weigh in as it is just going to go back on anyways. How depressing is that?????
