Sorry to hear about your back, I really don't want mine to be recurring so doing everything possible to try and get back to normal, it only happened 4 weeks ago and can't wait to get back in the gym.. The pills are making me really drowsy but at least their dulling the pain as for the past month I've just been taking ibuprofen and they didn't seem to be doing anything.

Was quite miffed to only lose 1/2lb last night, I know it's a loss but had tried so hard, I used to need all my syns to get better losses but maybe I need to reduce the amount I have whilst not being able to exercise.

Friday 7th October (Sick)

Breakfast: SW quiche (1.0), syn free BBQ sauce

Lunch: BNS risotto with Parmesan (2.0 + HEA)

Dinner: lamb madras (0.5), basmati rice, syn free onion bhajis
Banoffee pie (4.5), 1tbsp chocolate spread (4.0)

Snacks:

Total: 12.0

Dinner quite a failure really, the lamb madras was quite hot, the bhajis were not crispy enough and the banoffee pie was a disaster, have never used gelatine before and didn't like the texture, sort of quite rubbery, also don't think I left it to set long enough as it fell apart as I took it out the cake tin.. All that effort for nothing! Oh well you have to try these things or else you never know x

I have now put bns risotto in the menu for this week again as I saw you had it yesterday :)

Mmm I really do love the BNS risotto and it will be less syns once I use the light butter (if I can convince hubby to eat it!) or alternatively I remember you saying you use flora cuisine, is that like butter? I think you spray it but what does it do?!
 
Well we got up to watch the rugby.. Oh dear.. We're coming home!

Saturday 8th October (sick)

Breakfast: bacon sarnie (HEB + 1.0 brown sauce), cherry tomatoes

Lunch: spicy tomato speed soup, 42g reduced fat cheddar (HEA)

Dinner: Maryland chicken (too many syns to mention!)

Snacks: digestive biscuits.. Why oh why?

Because I'd gone over on syns with Maryland chicken as Mark really wanted it I went mad and had some digestives that I really didn't need!

It's liquid in a bottle and I think it's 1 syn per spoon?

Sunday 9th October (sick)

Breakfast: American pancakes (HEB + 0.5)
1 tbsp maple syrup (2.0)

Lunch: spicy tomato speed soup

Dinner: lamb hotpot (3.0), carrots, sweetcorn, broccoli

Snacks: apple, SW quiche (2.0)

Sorry to let you all down girls but my heads not in it this week, all I want to do it eat.. And not what I should be eating, can't even bring myself to write it down.

What's even more annoying is that I've been doing SW meals but then ruining it by picking in between, did I really need to raid hubby's cupboard and take a mars bar and a twirl?! No I didn't and cross about it too but not much I can do about it now. Not sure why I'm craving sweet stuff at the moment as usually I'm more of a savoury person.

I'm going out this afternoon/evening to Nando's and then Bingo with some girls from work then must get back on it tomorrow, not much I can do about getting a gain tomorrow but I'll just have to face up to it.

Glad you two are on track and thanks for popping on here, I should have commented earlier in the week as you might have been able to stop me sabotaging this week but I was too ashamed x

DO NOT feel ashamed sweetheart, your just having one of those weeks... We all have them... Just do your best and get back on track when you can, guilt won't work it'll make matters worse... We are all here for you, but please don't beat yourself up for it, as with me, its not just the weight we are losing, its our past habits and our thoughts and feelings... Please just relax and look after yourself... Hugs... Chelle xx

Thank you for your kind message, I've got tears in my eyes, it's not really something I discuss with people as I'm sure they don't understand, Mark is so lovely and very supportive when it comes to SW, he's always telling me (and everyone else!) how well I'm doing that I don't want to disappoint him so I scoff in private (again old habits rearing there ugly head!), I did tell him about the mars bar yesterday though.

Look at what you've lost and be proud of yourself!

WI day is a new day and this week will be better. We all have food issues and bad habits and that's why we're all on SW! But life gets in the way and sometimes habits we are trying to lessen take over. This will happen less and less x

sorry your having a bad week, sometimes you need to do it now and again to get it out of your system. With you having your back problem i think it just gets you down and like you say old habits are easy to let back in when you feeling low.
I would just try and get back on track next week and not give yourself a hard time, im finding that its a life time change that is really what we are all aiming for (well Iam) and you have done so well so far, like you said in a post to me that you usually give up at the stone mark so just think how far you have come and one bad week wont put all that weight back on.

Take care i will pop in again to see how you doing this week if you want xx

Thank you Lisa, I do hope it gets less and less, I really don't know why I lose it sometimes, I seem to go into self sabotage mode, hope you're doing ok since I went AWOL!

Thank you as well, my back has been getting worse not better so you're right, it's almost like I just couldn't be bothered to meal plan properly, I'd do proper meals but then instead of writing down what I'd eaten I'd then eat crap.

You've made me feel better reminding me about how I usually give up, I know I can do it with all of your support x

Thanks to all you girls, you really are a great support, I put on 1/2lb yesterday but I do know it could have been worse, we're going away on Monday and rather than think sod it I'll be bad until I get back I have been positive and am sticking to the diet until I go and then I'm going to enjoy myself and try to stay semi on track but not write anything down and just relax for the week.

I'm having problems getting on my subscribed threads so will do my best to update these next few days.. Enjoy your weekends girls and thanks again xxx

Friday 14th October (Early shift)

First day back at work after a few days off sick, I struggled quite a bit, not just with my back but it just seemed to take me forever to get on top of work today and any little things that could go wrong did, even got my first delay boo hoo!

Breakfast: vanilla ff yoghurt, raspberries and strawberries

Lunch: superspeed spicy tomato soup
3x ryvita black pepper (HEB)
3x laughing cow light triangles (1/2 HEA)

Dinner: pork with bacon & sage stuffing, watercress, rocket and spinach

Snacks:
3x ryvita black pepper (HEB)
2x laughing cow light triangles (1/2 HEA)
Alpen light (3.0)
Options indulgence hot chocolate (200ml kara coconut milk 1/2 HEA + 3.0)

Total syns: 6.0

I usually do Extra Easy but we didn't fancy potatoes with dinner so I've ended up having a Red day.. Might even treat myself to a mini twirl!

In fact I didn't have the twirl I had a hot chocolate instead!
