I'd love to go one day :)

And the gain will be gone before you know it (and was worth it I bet) x

You should definitely go, it's great.. And the gain was worth it, just hope it doesn't take too long to lose it again! X

Busy bee today, been running all over the place today and making loads of calls, my car was recalled by Vauxhall but unfortunately nothing to do with why it's going wrong but fingers crossed its been fine the last couple of days but recall has now been done.

Went food shopping as nothing SW friendly in the house, menus planned for next few days (if I can be bothered to cook tonight.. Yes Helen you can!!).

Am halfway through defrosting freezer and seems to be taking forever!

Have test driven a Nissan Qashqai and love it... Mmm not sure can afford it but would be good for the long drives, can I persuade hubby is the question?!

morning Helen
im at work today so instead of doing anything im catching up on here (naughty, but hey ho), glad youve had a great trip, how was your back? hope it didnt spoil it.
hope you get the car you want, im sure you can talk hubby round ;-)
youll have to let us know what you get.
have a good weekend take care x

Thanks for popping in, will reply properly tomorrow and add food diary as I'm exhausted and lying here trying to catch up with everything on here and failing miserably as my eyes keep closing! X

Lynica I was in work yesterday night too but was too busy to come on here unfortunately and then when I got home I wrote on a few people's threads, tried to update my diary but my eyes kept closing!

We went to look at the Qashqai again, Mark liked it too, we're going for it! Subject to mine passing its MOT we should pick it up next Saturday! It seems extravagant but we really struggled the 80mile round trip to work everyday last few years in the snow so as this is higher and can also turn into 4 wheel drive the drive hopefully might be easier, it's also a 2.0 litre so a bit more oomph than my corsa (saying that I have loved my corsa but I'm a bit wary once things go wrong).

My parents are kindly lending us the money so an interest free loan, the problem is neither of us like owing money so a bit nervous about it, we'd been doing so well overpaying on our mortgage whilst the interest rates are so low but won't be able to pay off so much now but we need a decent car for work (look at me trying to justify it?!)

Back was quite achy in Boston and it didn't help lugging our suitcase around on the subway either, I've realised it's not just the excessive sitting down that gets me its also excessive standing, I seem to need a mixture of both or it hurts, despite being busy at work yesterday after each flight I walked around even if only for a couple of seconds and made that my mission.

That was a lie in for me! I only do Day shifts once in a blue moon, on Earlies it's usually 3.30 or 4.30am I get up.. Bit better than when I worked in the terminal and it was 2.30 I got up!

Hope you have a good day too x

It is frustrating as you almost feel its your fault even though it's out of your control, it was worse when I was in the terminal though.

We hate owing money that's why we feel bad borrowing it but I'm sure it'll be worth it.

I had a slow cooker, it was ancient, my Nan got it in the 60's and it was handed to me but I broke the corningwear pot so I had to throw it, was contemplating getting a new one but not sure we'd get enough use out of it, do you cook just casseroles or is there loads you do in yours? X

I got mine not that long ago an I have done Soup, chilli, whole chicken, gammon joint, beef casserole, chicken casserole so far. someone posted on my diary when I was thinking about getting one that you can do anything in them that you can do in the oven. You've seen britmums site she's got loads of recipes an if you make a big batch you can freeze it. Best thing I've bought x

After the casserole disaster I may get one.. Got home from work, smelt delicious however all the liquid had evaporated and was quite dry so had to make some gravy and syn it, annoying really when last time I made it it was gorgeous but I was at home then and stirred it a few times so maybe that was why it was okay then, still tasty though.
