Hello new weight loss blog :D

I am doing well and have had a very good week. We were so busy yesterday being out and about that we didn't get chance to eat until about 4, and I hadn't even really thought about eating til then, wow!

Today I have had a cereal bar for breakfast, and am not that hungry really. Not sure what i'll get for lunch... not sure what I fancy...

We're out for more Sciencey things tonight, but plan to get a Subway before hand for our tea :) they do food at the comedy club we're going to, but a Subway is much less calories.

It's good doing this with Jamie, we're really helping each other :)

My sister is coming to visit a week tomorrow :D so I am hoping she'll see a difference in me. I shall be really good this next wek then i should have lost about a stone from when she last saw me :D

Hey hey :) Sorry I haven't been on here for a while, I was away from my computer at work at the end of last week, and I don't get on here on weekends :S oops.

Thanks for all the nice messages :) Things are still good, thanks.

Had a good weekend, we had wine on Friday night but we saved calories for it so was fine and enjoyed it :)

We were out most of the weekend really, but we grabbed salads from M&S and we've been living on Subway sandwiches for a week, ha. But it's 409 calories for a Veggie Patty sandwich and they are lovely.

There were tea and biscuits for the lectures on Saturday too but we shared 3 custard creams between us, hee. Go us!

So the weekend was great. Am sad that this Science Festival is over now though :( we went to 15 events over 8 days which was tiring but good fun and very interesting.

Saturday morning we went down this old Victorian tunnel that runs underneath the length of Newcastle and was used by the coal miners to get carts of coal to the ships. Was really interesting, and fun with our hard hats and torches. So I enjoyed that :) Then there were lots of lectures at Newcastle uni so i learnt a lot of things there :)

Last night was the end party, we were starting to recognise people from other events so it was nice to have everyone together, suppose we'll see them next year now!

Anyway. I have no milk with me today at work :( so i have a cereal bar for breakfast, and no idea about lunch, perhaps a soup and sandwich deal from the sandwich shop...

I haven't weighed myself for a while, so I need to do that on the Wii Fit this evening. I've found my tape measure now too, so can measure myself for future reference.

It's spring now :D and the sun is shining lovely this morning :) So happy Spring everyone :)

Glad things are going good with you and that you have enjoyed the last week, it certainly sounds interesting, especially the tunnel under Newcastle.

Morning :)

Well the internet connection at work is really slow this week :S it's taking me ages to get through diaries, so I apologise for not visiting much.

Hope everyone's having a nice day :) the suns not come out yet, hopefully it'll brighten up in time for my lunch break.

Well i went on the Wii Fit and I am 15 stone 1, sigh. So my hard work to get into the 14s was all in vain :( So I am stepping up to it again and being more strict with myself.

I am disappointed as I have done loads of walking this past week so I think i've had a good amount of exercise, but then I hadn't been on the Wii Fit in 16 days until last night :S and i found it hard work last night, so i need to get back into doing that regularly.

I do feel a bit down as I wanted to have lost a stone when I see my sister on Thursday, but it'll only be about 10lb i've lost since I saw her at Christmas :( which isn't that great in 3 months. Sigh. I suppose I didn't start this proper calorie counting until the end of January...

So yeah, I need to be more strict as I want fast weight loss and all these treats are stopping that.

Hi Bon, sorry to hear you are feeling a bit down.

All the exercise and you being good should show next week. I know how it feels when I've been to the gym millions of times in a week and been really good and then the scales don't change but they do the following week. Keep your chin up and it will show.

Also a 10lb loss since the last time you saw your sister is good.
 
it's still a good loss honey!! and now that you know you should be able to keep on track more easily :) you had a not so good week the week before last so the good week may catch up with you next week :) you're doing brilliantly. keep it up :)

Aw thanks guys :) you're all lovely.

I know I am doing well and I am pleased with myself overall, I think I'm just sad at how much I actually weigh in general, I hate weighing myself so much :( I realise that I am obese every bloody time :S I need to be 10.5 stone according to the Wii Fit to be my ideal weight :S that's 4.5 stone to lose :(

But I do like my new mind set and I think I am understanding food more than I ever have, and it's interesting. So it's all a learning curve isn't it... I know it's hard to change old habits and I think i've made a good start.

I know my sister will still be proud of me and tell me I'm doing well :) She's dieting too but she's thin already :S I used to be the same size as her (a 12) and therefore going clothes shopping with her is rather depressing :S So i intend to take her shopping for things for my flat instead, hehe, and shoes!

Anyway. I've had a cereal bar for breakfast, I wasn't hungry enough for Shreddies, so am pleased I didn't just get some anyway :) and lunch I've had 2 bread buns. I also went to the market in my break and got 3 bags worth of salad, fruit and veg :D

So i have blackberries and grapes to nibble on this afternoon :)

So thanks guys. I will keep going :) I hope to get on the Wii Fit again tonight too. Even if it's just for 20 minutes, but hopefully i'll manage 30 :)

it all adds up you know honey. did you know that to do your first excercising award thing at slimming world you just have to do 5 mins a day? so 20 mins will do you loads of good :D
