Help needed for 1st day......

aww home come?

that's rubbish :(

how long will you have to stay?x

Just a really long day and had to get a briefing done for tomorrow. *sigh*

At the station now so be home in half hour or so and then got to cook because bf didn't put dinner on like he was supposed to!! FUME!!!!

eeeek!
i wouldn't like to be in his shoes! lol.

is there anything you's can have that'll be easy? or maybe pick something up on the way (you might be home by now?)

aww what a shame...just grab something and head for a bath and bed...let him find something for himself ;) x

I'm home now and bf has run me a bath and is cooking me bacon, egg and a toasted bun :)
(Think he feels guilty?!?!) lol

I'm chilling on the sofa being waited on :)

Ooh well done on the loss hun. Ur back into the swing of things now :)

So bf put the stew on last night to cook overnight since the meat needed to be used up so I got up to a lovely smelling kitchen today. I've turned it off and will heat it again later when I get home from work. Will probably be a late one again as well so a good thing it's already cooked!!

I haven't brought lunch today as my boss mentioned getting a late lunch out after a debate we have in the afternoon. I'll have a mugshot before we go to keep me going. Brekkie is apples and yoghurts today.

Last night I had some syns on a penguin and some spread in my roasted roll for dinner so syn total yesterday was 12 since I had crisps for lunch. Not too bad.

How was your dinner? What treats did you have after WI?!

dinner was ok...better than i thought but i was so hungry lol.
treats were 2 celebrations and a packet of hoops and crosses...nothing exciting lol.

mmm i bet the kitchen did smell lovely and ideal that it's all gonna be sorted when you get in tonight.

think i'm having quorn burger and sw chips tonight for dinner, can't wait cos i'm hungry just now!

i saw a recipe on the sw website for creamy ham risotto...just rice with primula light and ham - easy peasy...might give it a go and see if it's any good?x

Ooh that risotto sounds nice- I didn't know primula was a healthy extra I love that stuff!

i'm not overly keen but haven't had it for years.
it's so simple so i reckon i'm gonna pick some up and give it a bash

i didn't know it was a HE either but the recipe says add 6 syns if not using primula as HE ;) x

I just looked on the healthy extra bit of the site and it is a healthy extra! Get slightly less for the flavoured kind- black pepper primula was my fave!
If you make it let me know how it is. I made risotto in the actifry tonight- so much easier!

Ooohhh risotto sounds lovely. Might give that a try myself - do you have the recipe?!

My day has been a bit odd food wise. I had an apple for breakfast, a mugshot before my meeting and then lunch was veg couscous with goats cheese (hexa?!) not sure if that can count as a hex or not.

Then I had a cup of tea and a slice of red velvet cake. ? I figured it went well today and I haven't had any syns so why not?! So that will be the extent of my syns today and it's steak night. I haven't had a hexb so I'll make today green and my steak can count as both hexb with the jacket potato being free.

Ill prob have a few less syns tomorrow as well - that cake had to be really synful from how it tasted lol. Worth it though :)

Everyone else had a good day?!

30g hard goats cheese is a HE chick...
and ideal that you could change your days and still enjoy what you had...i don't have a clue about syns for the cake but i bet it was good! lol

80g of primula light is HEa
55g of the cheese and black pepper one
2 primula cheese pods (also 2 of the cheese and chive ones)

recipe for the risotto online is:

225g long grain rice
450ml boiling water
½ teaspoon salt
1 tsp mild paprika

160g Primula Cheese Light
1 slice (80g) cooked ham

1. Add the rice into a small saucepan, add 450ml of boiling water and bring to the boil, add the salt and cover with a lid and reduce the heat and cook for approx 15 minutes, without stirring.
2. Once all the water has been absorbed stir in the paprika.
3. Squeeze in the Primula Cheese Light and stir until creamy and rich.
4. Add the cooked ham, chopped.
5. Serve immediately or allow to cool and then chill.

easy peasy eh x

Sounds too good to be true!! I am def trying this. The one thing I hats about risotto is the frickin stirring lol!

Thanks for the cheese info hun - well pleased with that! :)

no probs huni.
as i say, i'm not overly keen on primula but i get that it might work in something like this better than say philly light etc.
i'm gonna give it a bash...my OH likes cheese spread but the only one i like is philly really so at least if i don't like it...he can use it lol x

I was planning on doin a little shop today for a few essentials and might pick some up - I've got everything else in already. Are you trying it today?!

not today but i did just buy some. i've got a packet of ham in the freezer that i chucked in when it was gonna end up out of date so i might take it out in the next day or two and use that when i make it?

how's things at your end today?
i can't be ar$ed and i've already had my syns for the day which soooo isn't like me...we had a team meeting and someone brought in the mini bites things you get at the morrisons bakery...i had 4 which means about 16 syns cos they were 75cals each!

i'll take it ill out tonight not getting my goodies lol.
it's not like me to say yes to stuff but i just felt like one, and i was hungry...and then i said yes to another and another and...you get the picture.
aw well, done now eh, but i'm sure i'd enjoy other stuff for the synage better!x

That's a bit like my cake incident yesterday - usually I would never cave in and have cake without having planned it first but I just fancied it. And what is SW if not a way of life where you can have a little bit of what you fancy but gives you a structure to make sure it doesn't have a bad impact on you. It's really unlike you to have syns in the day but it's a one off so I wouldn't worry about it. You will have to have some fruit or something if you need something sweet later on :)

My days have been hectic all week so it's just as well I have been sort of prepared. I had leftover stew for lunch today with a hexb roll dunked in it. Mmmmmm it was lovely - will use that recipe again!! i took chicken breasts out the freezer for dinner but not sure what to do with it yet. Ok thinking some roasted new potatoes and veg but I might get some philly and stuff the chicken. Will see when I get to the shops

I'm on 4.5 syns for the day and worked out yesterday a bit better so that I know how many syns to cut back on this week. It was 19 in the end at a conservative estimate so only 4 to make up. Not bad at all for a bit of cake I really enjoyed :) not sure what I'll have syn wise tonight but might buy some penguins since bf ate most of them lol. I also need cereal bars as I'm running out of hexb ideas lol. Cereal bars are easy for me!

What's for dinner tonight then? Better make it something filling so you for crave later on

lol, i just had some soup with 2 ryvita and i'm going to have fruit salad with some scan bran cake through it...not overly hungry and the fruit and veg will do me good lol.

was it really that much for the cake??

i use syns every day so you're right about it not being a shock to the system by having some chocolate but the shock will be not settling with my wee goodies later.
will need to get involved in some candy crush or something....that might distract me lol x
